One of the most famous Buddhist temples in the West. There are food stalls and markets every Sunday. Vegetarian friendly. Very authentic and traditional Vietnamese foods are available for purchase. (Payment in Cash only) Dining tables are available for dine-in in the dining hall. It's also available for Take away. It is super crowded on Sunday. The traffic situation is the worst to mention! The parking lot is limited and you require to park further down the road/field to walk to the temple.

Wonderful place. Tranquil, beautiful, and the vegetarian food market on Sunday mornings is great - there's a mess hall where you can sit down for a hot meal, and a few stalls where you can buy cheap takeaway vegetarian meals, fresh sugar cane juice as well as fresh fruit & veg.

This is one of Melbourne’s. Eat Buddhist temples. The staff attending the temple is super friendly and courteous, there are some great scenic spots at the location and the food they are selling is really delicious. Highly recommend anyone living in Melbourne to pay this temple a visit. Probably around lunch time is the best time to come.

Beautifully situated above the Maribyrnong River Quang Minh Buddist Temple is definitely worth a visit, offering a food market on Sunday mornings whilst also catering many different events (weddings, funerals and festivities) There are well crafted monuments and statues situated throughout the grounds making for a very peaceful time spent here.

A peaceful place with beautiful view lookouts on Saturday. Every Sunday from 10am to 1pm, they sell delicious foods (home made by volunteers) vegetables, drinks, charm and accessories handmade with affordable price however cash only no card. They also have special meal dish/ bowl every Sunday. Eg: Veterinarian Pho for this Sunday, next Sunday will be Veterinarian spicy beef noodle, etc... Please wear mask, register and stay safe

A very peaceful and beautiful Buddhist temple located away from the busy crowd of Melbourne. The moment you go there you can feel that incredible peace inside you. The surrounding and the set up of the temple will have your mind at peace. Coming from a Asian background I could relate the cultural resemblance. Not too crowded during weekdays but heard it’s busy during weekends. Seems like they have small food stalls as well. Plenty of parking if it’s not crowded.

My second visit to this temple revealed a remarkable sense of calmness that piqued my curiosity, despite not being Buddhist. The serene atmosphere drew me in, sparking an interest in learning more about the temple. However, finding someone to answer questions proved challenging. Overall, a peaceful experience deserving of a 4.5-star rating.

Peace and serenity. You'll learn a lot of things from there but they need to be more western friendly.
