Normally don't do reviews but I was super impressed with the service and quality of care I received today (18 Oct) Teresa served me and she was wonderful. Marlene was my optometrist for contact lenses and she was brilliant. I also went on a Tuesday, I did have to wait a bit but still great. Unfortunately, I forgot their names but my glasses optometrist was equally brilliant and the sales assistants were great too.

I wasn''t at all happy with my appointment at SpecSavers Keilor Downs. The optomistrist didn't read my information correctly and gave me a reading pair of glasses instead of an "office" pair of glasses, in addition to my multi-focal glasses. Neither glasses have been right for my eyes and now I need to arrange to go back and be re-tested. When I went to pick my glasses up, the person did not fit them properly, and I had to go back and arrange to be re-fitted by a more experienced fitter, which I must admit, did a terrific job of fitting my glasses. But the fitting hasn't helped in terms of the lenses working for my eyes. Overall, I'm not that impressed. I chose SpecSavers for their warranty and their cheaper cost, but so far I'm not that impressed.

The staff at SpecSavers Keillor Downs, in particular Marlene and Maria, were exceptionally friendly and helpful during both my eye testing appointment and when assisting me with picking out frames. I could not be happier with my new Levi’s glasses and would not hesitate to recommend the Keillor Downs store! Thank you Marlene, and all the KD team!

Very good service..staffs are very professional and accommodating to customers request. Very efficient and high regards to customers satisfaction. I would highly recommend this branch. Love the aura of the shop and friendly faces of staffs. I will definitely come back to this shop for my families eye care.

I'd just like to take a moment to thank the staff at Spec Savers KD. Marlene, John, Peter and everyone else have been beyond patient and helpful with me, not just this year, but with the previous 4 years I've been attending. Thank you Marlene for taking the time to explain eye health and for liaising with my GP to dot every i and cross every t. A special thank you to John for always being honest and patient with me every year when it comes to picking frames. There's a reason I keep coming back! Needless to say, you should experience this exceptional customer service and holistic care first hand. It's also always lovely to see a warm smile and an enthusiastic wave while walking past when at KD.

The optometrists and dispensers here are the friendliest and most professional in the business. Their attention to detail and customer service is second to none. Would definitely recommend this store to all my family and friends. If you’re after excellent care and high quality glasses this is the place to visit.

I came here last week for adjustments on two pairs of glasses, one of them gave the staff quite a bit of trouble but they were patient, enthusiastic, and kind the entire way. The atmosphere in the shop was collaborative and warm, it’s clear that the staff there enjoy each others company and their respect for each other extends to the customers too. I've been purchasing glasses from specsavers (and other places) all my life, but no branch compares with the Keilor Downs branch. Marlene, my optometrist, is really professional, thorough and showed me her passion for my eye health by taking the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. The staff outside are super friendly and really helpful with finding the right pair of glasses to make me look and feel great. They also make the whole purchasing process really simple and straightforward. Overall, would highly recommend coming to this store, I'll definitely be sticking around here!!

Not only did they make me feel comfortable throughout the processes of the eye testing, but they also ensured that I understood everything about the glass frames and my results. I was given a time frame of 2 - 3 weeks until my glasses were ready, but instead got them within a week! The staff here are very bubbly, welcoming and care for your every need.

I booked an appointment for my eye test and had the most amazing experience and service. Throughout the appointment and the others that followed after, I was met greeted with care. Each member of the staff were very kind and made sure that I had received an amazing service. The person who stood for me was Maria, as she was on top of information and made sure that everything was taken care of. I cannot have asked for any better. Having worked in retail in the past, I can surely appreciate the effort and the due diligence. Thank you Kelior Downs Specsavers for making sure my eye health was taken care of, aiding me with choosing my glasses and delivering them within a reasonable timeframe. Time is important and valuable, and Maria made sure that I had a productive time. Being a full-time student, researcher and educator, I made sure to make the time to be there in a decent time when I booked my appointment. Scheduling is key and both sides were very respectable. Thank you once again for an amazing service and product delivery. I am throughly enjoying my new glasses!

I placed an order for two sunglasses and received a message to collect them. I called them at 5.20pm to inform that I will be there around 5.35pm due to traffic and the receptionist who answered the call said they can’t wait any longer after 5.30pm. So I asked them can I collect it if I come there before 5.30pm. She transferred the call to another person. She said they are closing and asked me to come tomorrow. I said your website says you are closing at 5.30pm so I should be able to collect it before 5.30pm. She hung up the call disrespectfully and abruptly. I managed to go to there shop at 5.30pm sharp. By that time the shop was closed. This is I am writing to the management. If you’re going to entertain these kind of behaviour of your staffs you will lose your customers one after the other. This is my first purchase with your company and I am very much disappointed and going to seek a refund not because of the bad quality of your glasses but because of the bad attitude of your staffs. All the working people finish work at 5.00pm and have to come from work in rush to collect it. So your staffs can actually respect our effort. I have given one star because I didn’t find zero star. Never coming to you.

Staff at Keilor Downs might not be 100% professional service wise, but their Optometrists have excellent profession. Frames have good quality, prescription lenses were made precisely. I needed not a second visit for any adjustments

I'm happy with the glasses, but the Cases are a total disgrace, I'm embarrassed to take them out of my bag. They are not hard cases, they are finished in a flock material & all sorts of rubbish get stuck on them Also way too big for the glasses.. Disappointing 😞 Why so Cheep?

Not happy with my multi focal specs. Optometrist wasnt proficient to conduct an eye test based on my needs. Instead I underwent a generic eye test. Usually for multi focal Optos make us wear those big glasses where they insert lenses manually and take a more accurate reading and then make us read from close distance and away. None of that happened in this case. Watergardens specs savers are much better. Should’ve gone there. Pity.

My go-to place for eye checks, getting new frames and adjustments to my glasses. The service from the staffs is excellent and very friendly, they help keep my little ones entertained with balloons. Always appreciated! Special shoutout to Maria who I go to for when I need to choose new frames as I always appreciate her honesty and help in picking new frames.

While I’ve always had a good experience at Specsavers Keilor Downs, recently I had an amazing one and thought it was worth the review. The service was friendly, professional, personalised and timely from the moment I walked in, to my eye test, choosing glasses and picking them up a week later. I don't normally do reviews but thought it was important for other people to hear about my experience at Keilor Downs specsavers and be aware. I went to renew my contact lense prescription and was greeted by a new optometrist I'd never had before. She was not interested in listening to my past history or current request and was only focussed on what prescription she wanted to give me. She refused to grant me a contact prescription for dry eyes - which I later learned from a more senior and professional eye specialist, can be simply managed with eye drops. Not only did she change my prescription (which turned out to be incorrect) She was very focussed on getting her own way and enjoyed the power trip it seemed. Since then I have attended a new clinic and got a prescription with no issue. My advise is, when in doubt, seek another (more experienced) opinion, it pays to trust your gut. Never again would I attend Keilor Downs Specsavers and will ensure friends and family do the same.

Worst customer service experience. Staff at the counter was not talking professionally . We were just 4 minutes late from the appointment and waited in line for another 5 minutes and we were asked to reschedule it. Wasted our time. Never recommend them for Eye test.

The quality of care and service I received is simply amazing. In addition to the very competitive pricing and wide range of glasses, I really felt like I was being treated as patient and not just a consumer wanting to buying glasses. This is much different to other optometrist that prioritize selling glasses to you rather than treating your vision.
