Super clean place. Management and staff ate super helpful and assisted us with settling in. Great venue and the parmigiana is amazing 👏

It was okay, pretty convenient. Rooms kinda bare though compared to the CBD.

Cancelled flight led us here for the delayed overnight stay. Both beds had dirty sheets, visible hairs and crumbs or dry skin pieces. Whoever cleaned the room was obviously too lazy to change them. Too exhausted we fell asleep on top of the covers and used our robes as a blanket, instantly felt dirty knowing the sheets were used. Bathroom had bugs in shower & most definitely was not as inviting as the online pictures. Overall needs a proper clean before next guests arrive. The man who checked us in was nice to deal with and check in process was easy. I did phone the hotel to give my feedback & mentioned I was going to write a review. Note: rooms are accessed via stairs above the pokies, the neighbourhood is rough.

Great place.. neat and clean, value for money compare to what you pay... Big manager assisted us with our luggage. Other Manager Andrea explained everything. Happy and smiling staff everytime we walked pass during the day.. Surley be back

The room, bed sheet and blanket are clean. Good location, spacious parking place. Service is better than my previous visit. $200 deposit is no longer required and 10% discount at the bistro has been offered for guests staying there.

Unusual for me to travel without a vehicle and to fly. I picked this place to stay as last weekend I was t another Nightcap hotel. Room jas everything you need. Older building has been painted white with dark trim. The pub was quiet Friday night, two big friendly bouncers. On Saturday there was a happy crowd of mixed nationality origins. The place is centred around the pokies with the bistro and rooms accessed on one end and the other end is the spacious sports bar with pool tables. Good music overhead, sounds best in the open air smoking area. Enjoy ☺️

Great friendly stuff, nice clean rooms. Checked in but due to family emergency we had to leave 30 minutes after checking in. The front desk was so understanding and was told we are getting full refund.

Even though there was a miscommunication of our booking last week the duty manager quickly fixed all problems we had with our stay and even offered a full refund of our bond and the cost of our room. Thank you.

Good price. Good location. The rooms were of a good size with Netflix and WiFi. The linen was nice and clean. Lots of free parking. The rooms were however stuffy, the carpets were dated, dirty and stained. It's got lots of traffic from pokies players.

I really enjoyed my stay! I booked this accomodation as I needed somewhere close to Sunshine Hospital. I was a bit surprised to find it attached to a pokie venue but that was quickly forgotten as I was welcomed warmly by the staff and assisted immediately. Jordan checked me in and he was great help with booking another extra night too. The room was clean, and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. The only let down really was the accomodation was all upstairs however one staff member did offer to help me carry my pram up stairs. I would stay again. Thank you!

Generally the room, the staff and the service was good. However the room cards they gave us kept expiring even after we stressed we were there for 5 nights. Had to continuously go to the front to get another card. Plus the location at St Albans Hotel meant there were nosies during the night.

Great location, decent price spacious clean rooms. Security staff very friendly and helpful do their job very well. Food at bistro (room service available) yummy food variety, decent portions and price! Last but all staff from every receptionist, to bar staff to room service and cleaning team members very good communication and excellent friendly customer service always happy to help in any way during my stay. I stayed one night and ended up staying the weekend. Thanks everyone will highly recommend also close to PT, shop and more.

Had a 3 night stay while working in the area. Right next to train station. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and free WiFi. Has bistro on site with great meals. If not into pub food, plenty of restaurants literally a minutes walk away

The room is clean and large and the staff friendly. However I do think a it should be clearly stated by the hotel that there are no elevators and that I have to lug my luggage up two flights of stairs! Secondly there are no hairdryers provided which I would have expected for this rate of hotel. Lastly shower pressure is kind of weak.

Great local spot with great service and clean venues. Been coming here for 12 months. They treat customers with respect and knowing your name as a person not a number. I had book a few dinners here for family outing and playing a few bets after work.

Haven't stayed in the accommodation upstairs but if the service and atmosphere in the rest of the venue is anything to go off I would absolutely stay here next time I need a night away from home. The staff are nothing short of amazing - Olivia Sam and John go above and beyond in customer service every time. They see me coming from outside and already have a coffee and a smile ready for me. No other place pays as much attention and service as these guys do!

Extremely accommodating and very well priced for the quality of the rooms. Best night sleep I’ve had in a long time (super comfortable beds). I’ve had a very stressful few weeks and as I was only in the area on very short notice, they took my booking quickly and efficiently and was checked in within the hour. Would recommend to anyone.

Pleasantly surprised by how clean and tidy the rooms were. Staff were so helpful and accommodating, we needed extra towels and had difficulty working our TV, Olivia came straight up to help us out. We will definitely be staying here again!

As a first time visitor to the Nightcap St. Albans. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall presentation and ambience. The food was really nice, the room was very clean and smell good and definitely value for money., staff (MJ) was very helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit to the Nightcap st.Albans!!

Entry to accomadation is up some stairs which is off the pokies / entry to the hotel. Upon arriving to our room we found that the carpet tile flooring was stained, unvacuumed with many bits of small rubbish on the floor and the room was overall untidy. Beds were clean and comfortable. We stayed two nights, so in the morning though a coffee would be great, but no milk in the fridge. As the reception doesn't open until 10am, there was no way of getting any milk. After going out for breakfast, we returned and mentioned to the cleaning staff that the room requires vacuuming and milk. All good I thought. Arriving back that night, the room was still not vacuumed, my soap I bought to the hotel was gone, but there was milk in the fridge, but so I thought. The next morning made the coffee and the milk was three weeks overdue and had curdled the coffee. I am dissapointed in the whole experience.

This is my second time at nightcap hotel, The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing.(specially MJ) They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting St. Albans.

This venue confirms to me you really do get what you pay for (as much as I hate that saying). We stopped over here for a night as it was one of the cheapest accommodation ($135) we could find in Melbourne and pictures seemed decent. On arrival the staff were really friendly and it was nice to receive complementary drinks and bottles of water but the room itself was another story. The smell was strong and I would describe as a mix of bad/dirty carpet and cheap fragrant cleaning chemicals, we were unable to open any of the windows to let the room vent and the AC wasn't working. I ended up using teaspoons to try and wedge the bathroom window open to get some airflow. Also it turns out St Albans is one of the not so nice neighborhoods in Melbourne which honestly doesn't bother me but something for fellow travelers to consider. Note to the owners: Staff are not the problem here. You need to cough up some money and get the carpets renovated at least, no excuses! And why are the windows in the room sealed shut? It would be nice to have some air flow! We stayed in room 3.

Frequented by many people. Food is delicious and very well presented. Children are welcome and catered for. Value for money. The manager goes over and beyond her duties to provide an exceptional service. Andrea is delightful and very much welcoming. I have no hesitation in coming here in the future.
