Just collected my VW Golf from Cranwell - I was rear-ended whilst stopped at lights in Deep Park a month ago and the other party's insurance wanted to write-off my car. Whilst we inhabit a 'Take it/ Make it/ Trash it' world, I have carefully maintained and driven my car over a number of years and resisted their move. My insurance company Budget Direct referred me to Cranwell Collision repair centre in Albion to get the damage on my car repaired. From initial time of arrival, i was greeted with great professionalism from all the reception staff to the management who promptly inspected/assessed the damages. The whole process was absolutely seamless. The repair works were all completed on time as promised and during the repair stage i was updated with multiple text messages keeping me informed on the progress of the works. When i picked up my car, It was presented very cleanly but most importantly the bodywork was unnoticeable like it never happened. The pearl white paint of my car was matched perfectly. Awesome place. Fixed my car in the time that they said they would. The price was not over inflated. Great job. They were super busy and said there was a delay of 3 weeks. I dropped it in when they said to and 1 week later it was back looking like new. They offer great service and would use again definitely :)

They will take care of your car as if it was their own. I have been referred through by my insurance company. There is no wishful promises given by this repairer but only thorough and better than ever work on your car. High professionalism and friendliness shown all around from reception/admin staff to the work done by sam and the rest of the crew. I’ve been here once through insurance and have been raving about them to everyone I know. But my experience today was a nightmare. Months ago Sam quoted me $1,000 to (1) replace tailgate (2) retouch paint on some micro scratches. After months of contemplating took the plunge, made appointment and dropped my car on Monday morning. And at the same time I asked John to quote me to paint the 4 rims and he said $100 to which I agreed. So in total -$1,100. Yesterday(Wednesday) afternoon I got a call to inform me that my car is ready and that the amount I owe them is $1,250. I said no, I owe them only $1,100 in total. I was on hold for awhile then the lady on the phone said OK $1,100 if I pay cash. This morning out of my busy schedule I took an Uber to pick my car up thinking it’ll only take 5mins max. Upon my arrival, one lady said no my car isn’t ready - she said did I receive an sms or….I replied someone called. Then the other lady said oh yes and so I paid $1,100 and my car came. On the first glance I was quite underwhelmed because it didn’t look like it was even washed, leave alone paint touch up on the body included in the quotation. The tail gate looks like an old one. But i wasn’t too fuss at this point, only a little agitated. I took a look at my tyres and I wanted to faint. They weren’t painted at all…so I went back into the office and they called John. One of the worker came out to pick the car up and said will take 10mins. I was in shock to hear the job will only take 10mins so I asked “do you guys not do some cleaning first before simply spray paint” and the lady from the reception said yes they do stuff first before painting. At this point I couldn’t believe at how everything was unfolding. Thought I would just stepped away from work for 5-10mins and here I am expected to be away from work for much longer for people’s negligence. After about 15-20mins I asked the receptionist how long more and she called John again and they brought out my car - the paint were not even so some parts were still showing rust. I asked them to re-do. Car went to the back again and out again. After all this time I don’t even have the energy to say anything anymore. They repainted 3 rims and forgotten 1. Photo attached is after 2nd paint. Just before I left I saw Sam coming out so I asked him if he felt they did a good job….he said I can talk to the manager if i wasn’t happy. He even said he could have quote me $10k for the job and they’ve done a lot already. Speechless! I’m disgusted because I did not bargain for any discount when the prices were quoted to me. And when things go wrong I’m made to feel like my car wasn’t worth.

Excellent service - The team at Cranwell did an amazing job of repairing my Subaru Liberty. The repair was done to a high standard, it only took 2 weeks and the car has come up fantastic. Highly recommend.

I cannot express how good my experience was at Cranwell. My car which I rely on for work / kids, originally quoted by insurance may take up to 2 weeks, was completed in 2 days. Absolutely gobsmacked with the professionalism and quality of Cranwell. A massive shout out to the owner. I never got his name but he was understanding and amazing to deal with. Legends!!!

I am thoroughly impressed with both the service and the turnaround of my car repair. Sam was fantastic and had everything sorted and fixed within TWO days for bumper/grill repair! I highly recommend this place to anyone considering a repairer. I went through a nightmare at another location with my insurance and was completely blown away by Cranwell’s service. They have everything nailed to a tee, from the second you walk in to reception, communication along the way, honesty and transparency, and an efficient service experience with quality. This is a rare gem!

One of the worst service I have seen. They just wanted me to leave my car without have a discussion about the cost or seeing what the damage was. A guy then eventually came, took photos and again said you can leave the car. I said to him if he even knew the issue. Then I showed him the scratch and the extreme bottom of car caused by a rock. I asked the price and he was not willing to tell it unless i told him what my excess was. I told my excess and then he quoted 100 Aud less. I came to them through my insurance. I asked few other body works centre and they quoted 300 AUD less then them. Completely dishonest people. For a small scratch which needed touchup, the guy quoted 100 less then the excess amount.

The work the team did on our car was fantastic. Really went the extra yard. The only downside is the uncertainty on estimates for when the work will be completed. In the end they thankfully got the work done in about 4 days but the initial estimate that we’d have to leave the car for two weeks with no option to bring the car in when a more precise timeframe was known was a bit of an unexpected upheaval for a one car young family. This may be more due to the Budget Direct (our [former] insurer - the less said about them the better) assessor not having that sort of clout with Cranwell but it’s a pretty unsatisfactory customer experience regardless. My first time at the panel-beaters, so for all I know, that’s standard practice.

Got sent here through insurance, and I could honestly say, this is the best team to go to for repairs. Loved how my car turned out, they even made my car look brand new with a good clean and it took them less than a week. Amazing work 🙌

What a gem of a place! Brought my car in for a bumper fix from getting rear-ended (thanks to insurance co for sending me there!). Staff are so lovely, knowledgeable, personable. Really went above and beyond, kinda blew me away... especially how clean they got my dog-hairy interiors and blackened wheels. Work was faultless, great eye for detail - spotted a slight mismatch colour from a previous repair I had never noticed. Such a good experience compared to the stressful, drawn-out ones of past. Cranwell Collision Repair Centre are the best in the business as far as I am concerned. I am living in Australia for 30 years and used many repairers. Cranwell stand out. Their professionalism , care for customers individual circumstances is top class. I met an accident and the passenger side and suspensions were completely damaged. The insurer sent the car to Cranwell and they assessed it well below the agreed value . They ordered parts very quickly and completed the entire repair within 8 working days. We have only one car and Cranwell rescued us and put us back on the road . I am ever grateful to the Team at Cranwell including Allen and Doreen their receptionist who was extremely patient with me. Also the best part was they repaired an area on the body which was not a part of my claim. They went out of the way to help me out . I had a small accident and I claimed via GIO. Due to the value of my car and the nature of the repairs GIO initially wanted to write my car off. However after I spoke to the team at Cranwell Collision I explained how it was cosmetic damage and how I had just spent $1.5K on servicing the car and asked them to please try and fix the car. They went above and beyond and were able to do the repairs for under the market value. They were so professional. Helpful. Caring. And towed my car to me when it was done. The car was detailed perfectly and I am so very happy. They even went above and beyond and fixed some other damage I had previously done just to help me out! THANK AGAIN GUYS! You’re the best!
