Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched and staff truly care about your experience. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. An amazing menu filled with traditional meals, along with great pairings of traditional wines and spirits. When visiting Taman, it instantly transports you back to the homely feels of Macedonia and Croatia.

Food 11/10, Staff 11/10, the owner went above and beyond to make our experience flawless. My misses is pregnant and they 110% accommodated to all of her needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!! They do get busy yes, but it’s for a reason! People, you need to eat here!!!!! Value for money!! Extremely happy with the service, definitely coming back!!

The best comfort food. Everything tastes home made and is just what you need if you miss home or want to have a good lunch/dinner with friends. Highly recommend. Plus the staff are so welcoming.

A late lunch at Taman Grill House Tony and his family were more than welcoming and hospitable in their venue of excellence! From the very start, the bar was set high enough to qualify for a high jump world record at the olympics. With their Sarma as well as the Makalo. The mains came out and I just had to say to my friend Christy… “These fries look crispy” We were also confidently told that the Chicken Pileski Steak was going to be jooooocy and tender. Can definitely confirm that no lies were told here and the chicken was indeed as promised. Would definitely recommend the mixed grill. Generous portions of a variety of goodies to satisfy the hungriest of carnivores. Mains also come with a serve of cabbage so I could also say to my mum I had vegetables and keep her as happy as I was with this place. Overall, a splendid experience and will be back soon!!!

The best Cevapi in Melbourne!! The beef cevapi remind me of my country Bosnia so delicious to eat and the bread is so soft!! Staff are always friendly and happy to help if you haven’t tried Taman you need to give it a go ASAP🥰

Such a warm welcome by the lady at reception ☺️ We just wanted to grab a coffee ☕, but ended up having lunch meal 🍽️ liking the hospitality, though I already had lunch. Great local Macedonian restaurant in the west. The hospitality was top notch! I haven't experienced such a genuine friendly, nice and welcoming service like this in a while. The food was good too. We enjoyed all the dishes. Recommend to try the Nafora Grilled Bread, Sarma, Taman Makedonka, Mesana Skara - Mixed Grill and Svinska Skara. Please note because the dishes are quite meaty it can be a bit salty but the cabbage salad, sauce and chips help balance some of the saltiness. Nevertheless it is a nice local restaurant.

Delicious burgers! Service was prompt and polite. They even turned on the outdoor heaters for us even though we were the only people outside. Bringing out a water bowl for my dogs was also very appreciated. Thank you!

Absolutely phenomenal and definitely worth both your time and money. The aesthetic and layout of the restaurant is both welcoming and unique in its design. You’re greeted by friendly staff with pleasant smiles who make you feel like you’re being treated respectfully. The real strength lies in the cuisine. For the price you’re paying, you’re guaranteed to get your money’s worth. I ordered both a starter and a main and the food was so delicious yet also very wholesome and hardy that I took my leftovers for lunch and I was still enjoying the taste when it was cold. The presentation of my food was remarkable and the flavours truly surpassed my expectations. The bread was fresh and well textured, the sarma was very tasty and truly stood out in its flavour, the salad had me coming back for more and the mix grill was to die for! All in all I definitely recommend this restaurant as it was truly amazing. In fact, I will definitely be coming back again. To entice you more if you’ve got your days where you want more convenience in your choice for dinner, take out is an option and you will not be disappointed. Definitely better than local competitors if fresh meat and wholesome food is your favourite choice of sustenance.

Not bad food but I have had better macedonian cuisine elsewhere. I think it is a bit over priced for what it is and the quality of food isn't 5 stars. The service was slow when I visited. Overall, I wouldn't visit again.

Food was fantastic, fresh and delicious. Service was great. The only part of the dinner that was not enjoyable was the atmosphere. The music was very loud and made us feel very hurried. We sat right under the speaker and could not have a conversation. Because it was night time it felt like you would want something relaxing playing after a long day. Would definitely go back but like to have a more relaxed atmosphere 😄

It was a great dining experience at Taman. The staff was very friendly and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The food was delicious and had a 'feel good made at home' flavours. We loved the Taman Paellla and the dessert fruit tart served with an extra ice cream! We would highly recommend this place and would be one of our go to places!

The Pork Kebapi was grilled amazingly, had that nice charr scent. No burnt tastes. Moist and Tender meat. Chips were fresh, thick cut. Never had it with grated feta and that was so yum! The home made dip it came with was sooooo tasty. Owners and Staff were great. Left them some feedback and they were pleased. Looking forward to trying their mixed grill

The first time I tried this eatery, my dish was the meat dish with cevapi, steak, some type of rissole a little spicy, half a sausage also spicy & a chicken skewer. It came with a cabbage salad which I enjoyed. My only feedback was that the chicken skewer was quite dry & needed salt which I added.

Delicious, homely and reasonably priced! This place is a real find. The meat dishes are great quality cuts and good size servings. You have to check out the extensive rakija menu! Loved it all!

The food is absolutely delicious but the service is even better! You can really tell this is a family owned restaurant who've put their heart and soul into. We went to Taman for lunch for my son’s 25th birthday, the traditional Croatian food was cooked very well and was very tasty. The large portions satisfied my three sons and hubby and the service was exceptional. We enjoyed the atmosphere which took us back to holidays in Croatia. We highly recommend Taman for family or friends getting together to enjoy good wholesome food. Thanks for a great time everyone at Taman. 😀

Have had take away from here recently and today had lunch at the restaurant with my family. The food was amazing both times, tasty and plenty of it. We will definitely be going back…highly recommend!

Large portions of food, great customer service can’t fault but the Mesana Skara was just too salty. I don’t know if that is normal but it was over the top everyone who ate it said the same thing,

This place is amazing, the food was amazing the workers were extremely friendly and the vibe there is on another level! If you haven’t been here already I highly recommend it you won’t regret it. It’s always great when you can’t find a place that serve something culturally different so everyone can have a taste and enjoy what our culture has to offer.

Great staff, friendly and welcoming environment! Absolutely amazing food. Ordered 2 Kepabi rolls for $22 each full of flavour, comes with chips & dip. Would recommend this place to anyone. Kepabi were cooked to perfection with flavour!

Food was amazing, I ordered the mix grill so I can try a little of everything. The kebapi are to die for, they are hands down the best I’ve had. The dipping plate which was unexpected and excellent. The service, well I just wanted to say thank you! You guys looked after us. With 3 toddlers running around and make noise and a mess. You guys were so accomodating and the way you all interacted with the kids was sublime. Thank you for being patient. Back to the food my wife just drooled when she took a bit out of the rib eye steak, just wow.

Amazing food. Wonderful and friendly staff. The owners were so generous with their time and constantly coming around and offering drinks on the house to show their appreciation for our attendance. Will definitely return and encourage everyone who loves traditional Balkan dishes to visit.
