An exclusive restaurant offering unique iced drinks and halal dishes (Javanese, popular and oriental). I and my wife had dinner with a special gudeg rice, a Solo salad, a hot lemon, a hot tea and crackers. The foods just had regular taste and needed to be improved (3-4/5). Generally reasonable prices, but the hot lemon was expensive (IDR 18,000.-). Clean restrooms. Very good free WiFi.

For first timer, the ambient of the place and services was good. Only imo the food just okay. Room for improvement is the meat of durian is not so sweet. I recommend just to buy anda try all the es dessert menu.

The taste of central Java, with sweet prefered dishes, especially the desserts are pretty unique combinations. The price is good too. It's located on pretty small road, with some spaces for cars. But beware of crowd, which would make your car parking difficult here.

The menu offers many kinds of food interests us to try everything. And we really try everything. Nasi gudeg, bakmi ketoprak, racikan selat, soto sulung, nasi langgi, nasi ayam goreng, es nini thowong, es teler and es tetap segar. Overall, the foods are delicious 👍🏻 Especially the racikan selat and nasi langgi. Es nini thowong also delicious, i love the cendol inside, it’s little bit chewy and smooth. The price is very affordable and the place is quite cozy. The waitress also helpful. Very nice resto to visit in Solo if you want a variety of Javanese menu.

Nini Thowong is a tourist destination restaurant. They sell good food and dessert. We tried nasi langgi, es teler, and es pudding sarang burung. Everything is good, but the price is a bit above average.

This place is almost always packed during lunchtime, and you can find visitors from different areas flocking to get some refreshments before continuing their days. But I can’t hardly blame them, it is indeed a nice place to enjoy some simple lunch like gudeg and soto but most definitely a good place to find different type of cold traditional ice refreshments.

The restaurant is big and clean, suitable for group and family friendly. Food is good, portion is small. Room is cool with airco. Salad/selat Solo is sweet, with one piece of meat

Great desserts. The es was really good. For the savory food, although each component are good, I don't think it's worth it. Big rice portion with little lauk for its price.

Local food that you should try when you come to solo. This restaurant serves local Javanese dishes such as nasi langgi and nasi rawon and nasi gudeng and many others to choose from. They also served a variety of ice drinks like es kopyor duren , es teler and es cincau. The restaurant is legend . Recommend if you come to solo.

Authentic resto indeed.. they hv unique taste for the ice menu, worth to try if you're looking for different experience of ice.

Many variants of Indonesian cuisine, my favorite is rawon. Also they offer many options of dessert, such as lychee ice, durian, avocado, es teler, etc. Personally I like chocolate pudding for extra ice topping. Price is reasonable. Helpful staffs. Place is clean. Parking space is wide. Toilet is available and clean. Recommended for both small or big group.

I bought nasi empal here and it was tasty (and I'm picky when eating empal so it says a lot i believe)

Little bit expensive, but it's worthed with the classic taste that they give. I just don't like the interior with modern and formal looks. Should better if they set the interior with natural looks or minimalist looks. And more sunlight in the inside. Traditional taste with natural interior is very match. Just like Japanese house. Simple but cozy and natural.

Restaurant with long Solo heritage. Sadly the interior doesn't reflect that, but the food certainly does. For the area, the food is a bit on the expensive side and the portion is on the small side. But the taste is really good, authentic and delicious! While there I noticed most of the customers are middle upper locals, business and government officials.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Comfortable place with delicious dishes and so much tasty (especially for gudeg). I recommend to everyone who come to Solo should pay a visit to here. Definitely be back again and again.

The place is fine, when i got there it's quite crowded but hey thet's mean it's popular. The dishes are a bit meh. The beef soto tasted soo salty and my bird nest ice drink tasted quite bland, like it just come from a can. But some of my family like it.

When in Solo, if you're looking for something different dessert like ice cream, you muat try this. The place was nice and clean with AC.. I tried: 'Es Tetap Segar' which was very refreshing with sweet and sour taste.

Ordered babat gongso, selat and gudeg. All taste good, really comforting eventhough not the best. Must try their ice varieties. Price wise not pricey at all.

Most of the Indonesian food they served here is good. But their ice.. Oh.. It's very very good.. Must try their Es Teler, or their es Tetap Segar or something like that.
