I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Alila Solo, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome from the staff and the stunning modern design of the hotel. Everything was beyond my expectations. I came here with my family and we were all very satisfied. The level of standards we’re amazing, It truly reflects the true Javanese hospitality. The room size was good, all the amenities are also complete. They kept their room clean and everything was also very well maintained.

The room is clean, well maintain, and full of details suitable for guest needs. All staffs are warm and helpful. Dining in Room is good with affordable price, great breakfast option menus.. Small things should be improved: early check in seems not work, old style TV in room.. Above all its a good hotel with money value

Room size is too small and hot water is not running properly. It's not even worthy enough to be rated as a 5 stars hotel. There are lots of 3 stars hotels that are better than this. Management needs to change the false information being given on Traveloka about the Room size ! In reality the actual room size is only half of the number that you put there !!!

I think it's probably the most proper hotel in Solo. Location wise, it's not really close to anything or to the main city, but a local mall (within walking distance). But we were going to the airport the next day, so it's convenient. The room is beautiful, very clean. I love this the most. Bedding is proper, lighting is good. I could sleep very well. Bathroom is nice, we can see the city! I'm not sure I would love the amenities, but I have my own toiletries. And like always in Solo and I'm not sure why, it's missing facial cotton. The pool is super vast, but the wind is very strong at the time we went there, so we couldn't stay for too long. The gym is super nice. They have a bar at the rooftop, sort of. Nice, but the service needs improvement. We had a bit of an alarming issue with the service, but the F&B Director, Mr. Bayu, took care of the issue professionally. So, shout out to him. Also the staffs at the Reception, along with the Duty Manager who responded in a great manner. The food is quite nice. There are a great selection of it. They use local cheese, of many sorts, and they taste quite nice. I'm not very fond of the sweet taste of the local (Solo) food, but that's my own preference. Overall, it's nice. For ambience, it really depends with the guests. We encountered some random guests without good manner (they were not tourists, but some people doing some trainings, and some government officers), but perhaps if they were not there, it would be perfect: serene and elegant. We surely would return next time we come to Solo.

One of the great hotels in Solo. Thought not really city center but the location is good and it is walking distance from a local mall (Solo Square). Had a short but it was a pleasant stay (2 nights). The lobby is big, impressive and decorated with batik style wallpaper. Reception staff is friendly, polite and helpful, there are some issues with english among normal staff and room service, some of them do not really understand english well but it can be worked around with speaking slowly, short and broken sentences and gestures. The room is beautiful and very clean, the bedding is comfortable as well, rooms are quite, could sleep very well throughout the night. The lights in the room and in the bathroom are a little dim for my taste (not bright enough and not as strategically placed). The bathroom is equipped with a tub and separate shower (Deluxe king room with tub). From tub you have a view of the city! The pool is vast and feels more private compared to some other hotel pools as it is on an upper floor, at times the wind can become strong though. The gym is super nice and functional, you can find all equipment for a good workout, directly take shower, water, drinks and towels are available in abundance. There is a rooftop bar (AGAR), which is nice but plays loud, somewhat outdated music, sound system also seem to be outdated and service needs to be improved. The food served in their restaurant and breakfast is adjusted more to the foreigners tastebuds and is missing typical local Solo flavors which makes solo food so unique. The breakfast is also very limited when it comes to local alternative All in all our stay was pleasant and relaxing, we would surely return next time when visiting Solo.

First time to stay in Alila Solo the way back to Jakarta from Yogyakarta . We have seen Bobo Cantik review in you tube then decided to check in while in Solo. Unfortunately we put a high expectation to these hotel. For room is ok. Swimming pool is fine. I had annoying experience while had a breakfast buffet. When i asked more sausage cause she put just 2 , she looked unhappy, am i wrong to ask some more, i've paid for the buffet. Most of F&B staff in buffet area are terrible attitude. Unequal service to the guest. They look nice to foreigners pfuihhh, unbelievable. We do pay the same as them.

After a long day, we arrived at Alila hotel and got the surprise and make our anniversary memorable, they designed our room and give us cake to celebrate it. Best 5 stars experience in Java so far. Went for business trip with my baby tagging along, was a bit hestitant because this hotel chain used to be known to have mostly "aged facilities". But not Alila. Business matters professionaly taken care & the in-room stay was 100% baby approved. My seriously picky & sensitive 15 Mos immediately get comfy in the room, and happily enjoy playground and pools. Perfect cleanliness and meticulous extra care for guest with baby (by request), and important for us : no stained towels/sheet. Well sanitized room with fresh scents. Super comfy bed and great view from 2206. Wide range of breakfast menu (tastes great too, and easy to find baby friendly choices). Great services too for both in room & banquet. Downside : the iron was dirty and left stain in my clothes, and would be perfect to have public space & in-room air purifier :)

Our deluxe room was nice, complete with an iron & ironing board, hair dryer (essential!!), and bathrobes. Everything worked well and we were happy with the staff's wonderful and prompt service. Breakfast selection was great! Traditional drinks (jamu) were also served aside from the common fruit juice. Although taste wise, I'd say Alila can do better. All the food we had at breakfast and at our event at the ballroom was OK--not outstanding, but just OK. Some were great like your roasted salmon dish and your dessert. Hope to be back if I have to be in Solo. Thanks again for your great service.

Not so professional front desk in handling wedding group. Normally in any 5 star hotel when breakfast is incl. The reception will info the details to guests, but not in Alila Solo.

Time saving on check in and out process. The room is cleaned and sealed. The shower room is simple but accommodating the needs of older people. It has stainless reel for us to hold on and granite seat for sitting while taking a shower. The staffs are genuinely friendly. The service is excellent. It’s definitely the best hotel to stay in Solo

Spent 3 nights here with family, 5yo kid, love the ambience, service and location. The room is nice, breakfast is good, gym is spacious with good equipments, and my most favorite is the swimming pool in their 6th Fl, it's huge and has really nice view. What can be improved: kids club, please add activities and playground to make the kids more excited.

I recently stayed at Alila Hotel in Solo and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is beautifully designed with a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that every aspect of my stay was taken care of. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities, i take for higher floor (up to 15 recomended). The highlight for me was the incredible view from my room, overlooking the beautiful city of Solo. The hotel's location is also convenient, just a few minutes away from the city center and local attractions. The breakfast spread was not impresive and the flavour need to elevated,(hope they can improved) with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The hotel's restaurant also serves delicious Indonesian cuisine, which I highly recommend trying. You need try dinner with couple in the roof top, amazing view with beautiful night view.. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Alila Hotel in Solo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Very nice hotel, spacious and clean room. Unfortunately, no connecting rooms available, kind of inconvinient for families. Staffs were all friendly. Breakfast was good, many cuisines to choose from. Spacious basement free parking. Just one flaw during my 3 nights stay, the toilet water turned black for some time before returning to normal.

Had a romantic dinner here at the Agara rooftop- it was spectacular (between the camera takes my wife requested). The dinner was delicious and the portions were definitely on par for the entire meal. The service was friendly and kind the entire evening. Overall, a very unforgettable experience. The only downside (one star off) of this all was the communication to get all of this wonderfulness reserved via WhatsApp. They were quite slow to respond and were a little odd in some information requested.

The employee, the room and the view was really nice and great, u can enjoy sunset at Solo while swimming. Moreover, u can also request to decorate a mini camping set for children inside the room, and they will send it with a compliment healthy snacks too 🤍 To be honest this hotel has the nicest omelette i’ve ever taste, and their french toast is sooooo good ✨🤌🏻🤤 Thank you so much for your hospitality 🫶🏼 my family and i enjoyed our 5 nights stay in this hotel 🤍

Actually I didn't book a room here but two of my my friends chose to stay here for their vacation in Solo. I can see why they chose this hotel. The parking lot is big and comfortable. High security. I visited my friend's room and I can see the room is good. The swimming pool is also great. Maybe I would like to go to the swimming pool not on the weekend (there were so many kids playing on the weekend)

This is our second stay at Alila Solo and for sure we will return. The genuine Service is the thing to be highlighted here, especially those who work in sky lounge & front desk. We were amazed with how helpful they are, make sure our stay is flawless. Wawan, Etdi, Dini you guys are awesome. We consult a lot about culinary & activities and none of them is fail. On our first stay we had our own itinerary but now we would prefer to follow their worry free recommendation. Not to forget the nice ladies, Tanti and the other one who assist us during check in. The room is nice with gunung merapi view and cute amenities. Food was also good. We enjoy the most from Solo and Alila Solo is the interaction and we’ll be back for the people. Chose this hotel for its location and its title as a 5 stars hotel. Expected to get their 5 stars services as well. Room was clean nice comfy etc. View was good. I was very happy with the room condition and location. However, sadly can’t say the same with the service. Front desk was nice and polite. Security in the lobby wouldn’t open doors for me while they open doors for other people. What’s with the unjust treatments towards guests? Then, I got denied in Agra and was almost got denied in Epice for dinner. Hostess said “it’s full” when I could clearly see it’s very very very empty. What really struck on my nerve was, believe it or not. I was told to get in to the hotel thru basement simple cuz I bought online food? I’m speechless.

I think The Hotel itself has lots worthy tittle. The rooms is comfortable thought there's some trouble with the leaks when I wake up.i like the amenities that they prepared in the bathroom tho. Complete. The Lounge is Fantastic and incredible. When I staying at first time, I was went to the loungem there's a lot assorted snacks , I love them all. I don't really like the wine tho. But it doesn't make the Service Lack.they are great sbtaffs. I think they should work more for the Indonesian food. I'm sorry that I prefer the food they prepared for dinner (the snacks lounge) than breakfast choices. The Swimming pool is cool. Very large and wide. If in the future I could get chance to stay there, I won't hesitate.

Best hotel in Solo. Breakfast is great. On breakfast, must Try Temulawak drink for whom has digestive problem. mix it with pineapple juice. At night, try Ginger juice drink (mix with pineapple) from Bar, will remedy gas problem after driving all days...😄😄😄

Been here twice, and will be back for more. Always enjoyed our stay here. Weird flex but love that large window by the shower. Can you imagine taking a hot rain shower up in the sky while enjoying the view of those mountains in the background? Epic. A very beautiful hotel in the center of Surakarta City, the hotel provide an antigen for the customer so that we traveller from outside Solo can do antigen and pcr on hotel, with the result directly connected to pedulilindungi app very useful, also in Alila the room is very beautiful but the designer of the bathroom need to be complained a little as there's no curtain for showering making the bathrooms slippery after every bath Lastly the food in Alila is very delicious with a very good health protocol, the recommendation is the nasi liwet and also the porridge as it show the traditional cook of Javanese food A very pleasant stay i must say Cheers Alila :)

The best hotel so far in Surakarta. Location is quite strategic. There is quite big mall nearby (Solo Square) within 300 meters. Big plus is they are implementing quite tight health protocol inside. The staffs are friendly. The pool is quite big (1.2 meter deep). The breakfast is quite good. The room is very nice and quite big even for a standard room. Basically, it is worth the money.

Alila Solo. If you're using travel apps such as traveloka, you'll find out that this hotel is the most famous one in Solo. The chain, the building, and compared to other hotels around, yes indeed. But, let's proof everything when you check in. I took around 30 mins to check in without knowing the reason why since I am the first person arrived in the line. The person is ok, but I expected more smile and be informative about any si-con. Location wise, it's quite near to the city center. The room was ok, the shower got some problem which I can't fully use the rain one either the shower one. The pool is breathtaking, it's a very nice sunset the day I arrived. You can consider to stay if you want the experience.

The hot water temperature was not consistent. Tired 2 different rooms at different floors and the result was the same.

A nice hotel with very good Covid protocols regulations the first time you enter into the hotel. The interior ornaments are so ethnical. Now about the room. The room is good, clean and has a very spacious bathroom with a glass window overlooking the outside view. The wayang puppet painting is also becoming an interesting point..

Excellent stay at Alila Solo. Very impressed overall with the quality of the hotel and its very good condition. Globalists members are treated very well. The Executive lounge on the top floor is an oasis of tranquility with great panoramic views of the city. Light bites and drinks are available from 6 to 10 PM. Having breakfast in the Lounge in the morning is a really nice experience as it is quite and very comfortable. The pool and Gym are very nice and well maintained. The design of the lobby is impressive. Having tested several Alila in several countries, Alila Solo is one of the best in my opinion. Congratulations to the team who did a great job in making my stay memorable.

Too bad the pool was on maintenance. While in fact, that was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. I think they should informed it on their website, so that the customers would not get dissapointed like us, because for family with kids that's quite important.

Friendly and warm staffs, luxurious decoration at whole building. Only one glitch, rooms gave very bad smell, spoke to the staff, they only spray some fragrance which did not solve the problem. It spoiled good first impression about this hotel

One of the best hotels in Solo. We held a big event when stayed there. The ballroom is big, modern and well equipped for big event. Further, Artistic design lobby. Great breakfast. Overall nice stay, gonna stay here again.

First time visiting Solo and staying here for 2 nights with my partner. The breakfast was in buffet style and the food was all very good, the restaurant was next to front desk with spacious area and very artsy interior. The rooftop bar also very good with good cocktails, live music and friendly staffs. The room was very comfy and clean. Definitely will come back for family stay.

I always like the hotel when visiting. Although it was fully booked on the last visit, I did not enjoy the room, the views, the friendly service and the food. Had a great tenderloin steak at the rooftop restaurant and was really surprised upon the quality, presentation and the taste of it.

Started from lobby, It was supposed to be better the way they welcome their guests?!!
