Adem Ayem offered Indonesian and Chinese food. Famous place and been for quite long time. They have lot menu to choose. Must try is their fried chicken. Super delicious and tender. Totally in love with their fried chicken. When you are in Solo, here is a must visit. They also have Gudeg and you can buy the take away package.

One of my favorite place to eat in Solo. My usual food : gudeg and fried chicken. They serves other delicacies from Solo as well. Parking can be quite challenging, and there can be some queue, so better arrive early.

It's been years I didn't dine in this famous restaurant in Solo city. During my business trip, I took the time to order the "bubur gurih / bubur super enak" (kind of porridge but cooked with coconut milk) and some Gudeg condiments accompanied the meal. It is a legendary meal and place you have to try. Awesome as people say !

Most of the food is delicious... Already eat, Soto Babat (tender and delicious), Gudeg (krecek is soft), Beef Black Pepper (taste salty in best seasoning I mean, the meat is mellow and portion is great), Bakmoy (a chicken and tofu is in balance portion), Fried Chicken (taste great) and the least is Timlo, which according to my opinion, not quite delicious... But don't know, taste yourself the place is big, you can add a lot of family member here... And serve with a medium time.. at least not slow... Good service.. The price is equal with the taste.. So for you that already hungry or even not hungry and didn't want to disappoint... This is one place that you must visit and have a meal

The Place is full of passerby but the Quality of the food is great to be enjoyed with full family member. The Gudheg is so recommended for those who enjoy local dish with fusion of savoury and sweet taste. The Racikan Selat is also nice when you came to Solo since it was one of the local traditional food

We arrived just before lunch crowd, as queue started forming when we left. Staff were courteous. However, they were really busy, we requested twice for spare plate that never came. Food, i thought was okay.

Well very crowded even if it's not lunch hour. Not recommended for people with bad breathing, because people can smoke cigarettes anywhere!!! Children or older parents can cough easily if you enter this restaurant!! The waiting list is also very long! You have to be patient if you go here. The positive point is the portion of food will make your stomach full. The chicken is so delicious. But the Sambal is not spicy.

Knew this place from Youtube as it was visited by President Jokowi. It comes with reasons for the visit. I tried their beef selat and the taste brought me to old memory of Indonesian version beef steaks. My dine in party had Ayam Goreng and Nasi Gudeg. Both were good as well. I recommend to reserve the table as it is usually packed.

Ordered Nasi Goreng Ayam & Nasi Gudeg Istimewa. Both are delicious. The differences of Gudeg Yogyakarta & Solo is i think Solo’s is not too sweet, like Yogyakarta. The coconut taste feels so many. But still delicious! Foreigners also can come

If you want to taste Gudeg Solo, this is the place. Gudeg Solo is brighter on it's appearances but it's way Spicier than Gudeg Jogja. While you find out the differences when you comparing to another type of Gudeg, maybe you can try Timlo. A mixed soup of chicken meat, chicken egg, some veggies, risoles and rice noodles.Timlo can be served with or without Rice in it.

The place is really crowded on the Eid Fitri day. I've tried the food by take away, the taste is amazing. All taste is good. And they have Gudeg that can carry out to another city that has expired 24 hours. Good to become gift for your family in another city. Enjhoy!! 🫰✨

This is an authentic restaurant and one of solo's iconic place to eat. The place is relatively clean and well lit (bright). I tried their selat solo and it taste good. However the portion is too small and i ended up ordering more stuff

This restaurant is a legend, let’s start with that. We came around 12 on Sunday and surprisingly it’s not that packed, but later on, there is a group of people using 3 big buses come and have lunch here too. The food is insanely delicious, especially the fried chicken. You should try the gudeg too since it’s quite different with Yogyakarta’s style, here in Solo the jackfruit is not that dark and sweet but the texture is still soft and moist. The krecek (made of cow’s skin) is another level of taste, amazing! For sure will be back!

Came in for the fried chicken kremes and selat solo. Exquisitely nice. The chicken is tender. The selat is delightful. Don't forget to order the ice tea with orange also. Great to drink when the weather is hot!

This is one of the best all around resto in Solo. The Bakmoy and Selat Solo have different style with others. But still good and deliver a good taste in my mouth. If you somewhere near in Solo, you have to stop by at this Adem Ayem.

We tried their gudeg and fried chicken menu, also cincau with syrup water for drink. The taste is so good, especially the fried chicken. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and when we arrived around 3.30 pm, it was around 70% full. The staffs were friendly, and the service was fast. Recommended 👍

Most of the food are recommended. They are yummy. Gudeg is the best, second best is Timlo. Love it!!

I like the gudeg. Always. Still maintain the same quality. Access is easy, in the main street of Solo. Service, rather long. As the restaurant is always packed with people. But it's OK if you're not in a hurry.

One of legendary restaurant at Solo. Big, clean restaurant with varied menu. All solo style food served here, from gudeg, soto, rawon, selat, opor, ayam bakar, etc. Recommended menu is nasi gudeg istimewa. Its is very sweet and thick like authentic javanese style taste. All area comply with health protocol. Ok to bring children inside this restaurant. However the price is expensive compared with other restaurant at solo. This restaurant open from 06.00 AM. Just avoid come in at lunch peak time (12.00 - 13.00) and dinner peak time (18.00 - 19.00).

A nice clean restaurant that mostly packed during lunch time, Adem Ayem serves different kind of Indonesian food including Gudeg and Fried Chicken. The food is pretty good though mostly fried food but I do find their spiciness a bit too excessive for my taste.

It's located in main road so it isn't easy to find good parking spot. They serve traditional Javanese food with gudeg as their main specialty. It's suit for meeting since they have spacious area with many table and chair.

So happy that someone recommended me this legendary restaurant! This restaurant serving Indonesian and Chinese food. I tried their Fried chicken, Sapo tahu, and krecek. All were delish! Their sambal is spicy and so tasteful as well. I came here at dinner time and it's full seated. The service is good and didn't have to wait too long for the food to be served. The portion of food can be for 2-4 person.

I think one of the best restaurant in Solo, must try. Service was ok. One of the recommended menu is the “Ayam Goreng”.

My fam and I were very frequent to come here when they still open on Gubeng street Surabaya. So today when I visit Solo city, I came for lunch, taste is still good but it was not as good as my experience. So.. 3 atars for now. Dining space was spacious but no parking lot available... big problem!

Parking is a bit tricky, but with help of the local security officer one can park on the 'slow lane' with paying IDR 3K. CoVid measurements are complied to and the tables are located quite far from each other. They were also cleaned after each customer finished their meal. The food is fantastic and quite price effective. It is really worth the price. I loved the taste. We had the : 1. Ayam Goreng Kremes 2. Timlo 3. Gudeg And I really liked the traditional beverage : juice beras kencur. I can only recommend to visit this place

One of the most legendary restaurant in Solo. They sell some of the best gudeg, fried chicken, and Chinese food in the city. Their gudeg is good. It is not too sweet. Even though the krecek a bit tangy. The rice is also too little. The chicken are really tender and savoury. The kremesan added the crunchiness. Their ice tea is sooo good. It is a bit pricy compared to other restaurants.

Wasn't planning on visiting here really, merely due to my wife's request to ask for 'Oleh2' from Solo. So yeah, I came in with low expectations, but came out with high regards 😁 Food overall was good and friendly service too, prolly the Standard Solo hospitality 👍🏻 Much appreciated and I shall return to feast once more at this fine food establishment. ✨Five stars indefinitely✨
