It's an eatery that is more well known for its warm Indonesian dessert. The dessert has some Chinese influence, for instance glutinous rice balls. It has a great variety of food items too. Definitely a great place to visit if you'd like to sample many types of food at the same time. It's relatively cheap so it's friendly to the wallet. Some recommendations to try: sosis solo, tripe gongso satay, otak-otak (fish cake), siomay, batagor (fried siomay), variety of nasi bungkus, ronde (glutinous rice ball with peanut filling in ginger soup), wedang asle. The place is quite spacious, good for groups. Not very accessible for wheelchairs.

Clean place, hygienic, quality over quantity. If you're a person who is not afraid to spend some money and love traditional food, then this place is a good choice. The only downside is if you're youngsters with strong tongues, then you might want to consider to put a manual request for extra sweet or salt

Wedang place that’s been there for a while, the place is very clean and organized neatly. Though they really should say that you can order each piece of the shumai separately, and each for 7k rupiahs is a bit much for the size. Otherwise the flavor of the tempeh are quite nice, the ice is priced justly compared to Njni Thowong.

Found this place.. filled with all Comfort food. They have various β€œWedang”. Loved their Wedang Ronde, the peanut filling melts in your mouth. Stayed in Solo for 8 days and I went there 8 times πŸ˜‚. I’ve been to Jogja lots of times and never find such Wedang Ronde. The only place that has similar taste I would say in Ny Ong in Semarang.

Clean 'angkringan'. No cats walking around the table, no food wrapping trash, just food.
