waroeng kropoek is one of the places to eat in a solo city that has nuances of the past. Enjoying food accompanied by music and songs from the same period. This place allows guests to sing on the stage. With a variety of menus, both Javanese, home-cooked, past and millennial times. Only, the price of food is quite expensive for the type of restaurant like that. But don't be afraid, there is also an economical menu. Suppose rice with vegetables is priced at 10,000 rupiah. I suggest, if you want this place. Use only two-wheeled vehicles. Because parking space is inadequate. Have an food adventure!

The place is cozy to eat and hangout. The price is cheap and the taste is quite good. But the location on the gmap is not correct.

Waroeng Kroepoek is a classic strategic food station in Solo or Surakarta, a famous ancient central Javanese city. The station blends traditional javanese food culture with modern contemporary style of fast food. Waroeng Kroepoek (WK) introduce You to javanese wedangan culture and food varieties. The unique ancient building creates an atmosphere of time tunnel journey from ancient time to the present modern Solo. As a whole it will touch your five senses and fit both to Your fast or slow lifestyle.

Love the ambience and live music. Visitors can join the band to sing a song. The place is easily accessible and not crowded. There are various menu but meals a bit expensive since it is located at solo. I love local root beer anyway. 🍺🍻

We tried this new "angkringan-based" restaurant during ied holiday. The concept is very traditional (interior, bulding, decoration), in a joglo-shaped building, dominated by wood components. They offer various menu of traditional javanese food, especially Solo culinary. You can pick your own choice of food, also there are some food stalls that serve you sate kere, sate kambing, tengkleng, etc. They offer "kopi klotok" and fried banana, just like what's been a trend in Jogja. But we had not tried it. I order sate kere (beef intestine & soy cake satay, with pecel peanut sauce), and "wedang asle" (warm drink consist of coconut milk, jelly, diced-crumble bread, and sugar - usually with mung beans and sticky rice as well) as drink. There was a live music, playing classic top 40 songs. Really recommended if you wanna feel the nostalgic atmosphere. F&B: 4/5 Location: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4,2/5

😐 I just don't get it whenever a classy resto had sold out menu and they didnt know about it. Let the customers pick menu then they let us down (after checking from the kitchen). It's so unfair, they should let us know the sold out menu at first. It happened not only once in here, I agree that the foo...
