Came for the fried chicken. Taste similar to ayam pop from nasi Padang, but it was deep fried so you get the crunchy texture of the skin. You can combine it with sambel on the table of you prefer sweet. But if you prefer fresh and sour, you can order sambel from lalapan

The best ayam tim goreng so far. It has tasty flavour and rich of spices which makes it different from the other fried chicken.

Came for lunch. The first floor was full. We ate at 2nd floor. Time serving was quick. There are 2 different price. It will be more expensive to dine in because u will get some vegetables (lalapan - indonesian). Food was delicious and this restaurant full of local people. Recommended for tourists if u want to try something else (gudeg and timlo are too mainstream 😆). Actually the restaurant is a little bit old but clean enough.

The chicken is huge and tender, unfortunately it's quite salty. The sambal is not hot at all and the price is quite expensive (about Rp. 30.000 each)

They only sell chicken, actually and tey name it 'ayam tim goreng'. They have ayam kampung (not a broiler one) for the dish. It tasted umami and sweet at the same time, and taste greater with sambal on it (they will serve you with 2 kinds of sambal, the sweet one and the spicy one. My fave is the sweet one)

The dish is so pricey, the review said it was a legend but when I try it just ordinary.
