Update: Recently i think quality has improved a little & increasing in popularity too after Pak Sandiaga Uno (the minister of tourism) came to visit. Must try: Soto ayam Tempe goreng Sosis solo (basah) Fried offals ---------------- Kirana is also one of the Soto stall that has a long history in Solo. My family frequented this establishment a lot since when they were still a small stall, but after they moved to a bigger place, the taste somehow changed, still nice but we don't go as much anymore. They have chicken and beef Soto now, and different kind of Javanese dishes. Still worth a try. Many payment options are available: cash, debit, gopay.

My favorite childhood restaurant!!! They have a lot of food which is iconic to Solo. The price are very cheap and there are little tourists. Most of the people who come here are locals so its a good way to experience the local way of living. Moreover, there are traditional snacks and side dishes available in front of you so you can just take them anythime when you eat (ofc you need to pay). Im not quite sure the staff doesnt speak english so communication might be a bit difficult but maybe body language works!! :D

always come here when we go to Solo, 'Soto Bening' nya same like the other soto in general, but 'jajanan' always interesting to take as a condiment.

Delicious Soto, traditional soup from Java. It is my family's favourite restaurant since I was a kid. The Soto is quite cheap but the side dishes are a bit pricey... worth the price, though. Sate paru (cow's lung satay) is delicious. Usually crowded during lunch hours.

Fully recommended! The taste is light but very delicious. Price is very reasonable. Side dishes are all also delicious, but just bear in mind that price of jerohan (babat, kikil, etc) is more expensive that the soto itself ;)

Since 1982! One of solo's soto corner. Serving since 1982. The place had moved from its original place. Good place and clean. Limited parking space. They have more than 10 big tables with foods and light snack already set there. They are famous for their soto. But also offer other variant foods. The soto itself is delicious. One of the best soto in Solo. Taste it yourself!

In Solo but you have no idea which place to have breakfast? This place is recommended for you if you go to Solo. A very good Soto Ayam and all its side dishes, especially fried Tempe. I give a plus for the place, it's comfy, spacious, clean but the food .... taste average and also quite expensive. The bakwan costs 3500 rupiahs each and the ice tea 4500. So better not be surprised when the time to pay

Famous soto place thats existed for decades. My mom used to eat here when she was pregnant with me lol The soto (both beef and chicken) is great, but my favourite is their Lodeh which they serve every Wed and Thu. Super flavorful and tastes great with their kerupuk and tempe goreng.

Nice place, I try their Chicken Soup (Soto Ayam), quite good taste light, but if you do not like other chicken meat part except breast part you must mention it when you make an order. They also use plastic and cover to ensure their side dish quite clean. They have different menu of the day, make sure ask before you order, curry rice is also good, i taste my friends meal. Will be back again to try another menu. This place is not too crowded toons. One of their famous side dish lung satay, it is good if you like this kind type of food.

For me it's LEGEND. Some people more interest to Soto Gading, but for me Kirana is more more tastier than Gading. So for me it is the best Soto in the middle of Solo
