Asia Hotel? Oooh no... This is Indonesia, we used to said Hotel Asia. A truly a legend hotel. My mother, father and my brother was here while i was graduated from Sebelas Maret University. They enjoyed everything in this Hotel. No complained... And they always Admired this place. Well, when i was graduated i have no money to stay in any hotel. I lived at Asrama Mahasiswa UNS. And then, just for now i went to this city again and again. I never forget what my parents said: 'always give an honour to Elder and Place where you belong'. And i proof it now. This hotel are awesome, very large room, honest employee, good food, fast services and more than that, this hotel always make a continuous improvement in any area. I hope you can enjoy this city, The City of The Kings, Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. And don't forget about what i said to this hotel, Hotel Asia, Surakarta (Solo). A true story about the River of Bengawan Solo, The Song tittle is Bengawan Solo by Mr. Gesang. We always remember this song. You can search it at any file of music and video music. All food are healthy and fresh. All you can do is control your mouth and body. A very High Class Culture of Java. Listen, see and read all human, nature, statue, books and love here. Highly recommended. The hotel experience was amazing. Breakfast was complete and delicious. All staff were so helpful and friendly and totally worth it!

Customer service is pretty good. They are nice and kind. They will help you, if you have a trouble. For the room itself, it was very clean and nice. Good Air Conditioner, but the bathroom Need some reparation. The hot water from the wastafel is not coming out or maybe leaking out. The bathtub need some cleaning too. For the breakfast, I think it was pretty good. 1 or 2 more menu would be nice though. Overall it was a nice experience on this hotel.

The staff are quite good. The room has no adequate table & chair for working, the luminating also not bright enough

very bad service (slow response and unfriendly staff), super dirty room (even I found cotton buds near my bed, stains on the wall from lipstick, and a lot of hair on my blanket right after I entered the room), the food is not good too.

for an old hotel, this is actually not bad, but save your money on a better budget hotel. TV is limited, room looks old, bathroom is sub-standard. and most importantly, there is no butter in the restaurant. they only use cheap butter substitute. a hotel like this must have butter and not margarine!

Comfortable room, good service, I can sleep well here, but we had to move to another room because AC problem and we found cockroach in the bathroom. Unstable WiFi connection. Bathroom door can't be closed.

Stayed here for training. The service of the staff, Pak Hartono, was outstanding, very helpful.

Not recommended. First, the key is problematic, the service is also lacking, the lobby in front of the room smells bad, and when checking out, the key deposit is not automatically returned (I just remembered the next day). But yeah, it's understandable because it's an old hotel.

My worst staycation ever! From the smelly and dirty room, noisy air conditioner, broken shower faucet, no mat in the bathroom, and no trash bin in the room. The building is rather old with dirty lift as well. Think twice if you want to stay here.

Asia Hotel is 3-star hotel, with some good facilities they have. It's not a new hotel, it is opened for nearly 30 years, so the design of the hotel it's quite dated. But if that doesn't matter for you, everything is fine. I stayed here for two nights in deluxe suite with extra bed. The room is quite good with about 24 m² is total area. There're big windows to see some Solo scenery from above. The bed are nice, with some old chinese style room. There're wi-fi and quite good restaurant. Well, I'd say this isn't a modern hotel. So 4 star rate will do. There's some flaws actually, and one of them is: We've planned to stay here for just one night, but then we decided to stay for another nights. After that we ask to receptionist to extend our booking and then we payed it. After that we go back to our suite and open the door with our card and it couldn't open! As it turns out, we've to go back to receptionist room and the card hasn't updated! So we've to wait, so the card can be updated.

Very old hotel, All the wallpaper scratched and the wall is dirty too, the bathroom HORRIBLE!! Its not even worth it as 1-2 stars hotel, only enjoyed the swimming pool and breakfast, it could be better

The hotel seems old, but the interiors & furnitures are still in good condition. I came here because of its affordable price & bathtub. The breakfast is good as well. There are many choices: beverages, fruit, bread, porridge, & heavy meal. All in all, this hotel is worth.

Well ..i have my opinion about a hotel. I think, a hotel.is good if it is a good and a right place for everything. I know you know what i mean. Please use a hotel as a right purposes. If a hotel is not used for right perposes, then it is not a right place to stay. Good place and good food will make you good live. Good place means a place for a right purposes, socially and spiritually

Well, it's a three-star hotel. It's fine if you only need a place to rest. Those kinds of hotels that suit you if you only need a place to sleep, not to enjoy overall experience of staying at a hotel.

friendly service, the rooms are spacious, clean, the air conditioner is cold, the swimming pool is spacious and clean, and the food has a variety of menus and everything is delicious

A couple months ago I had terrible experience there. I went there to swim but I forgot to bring my towel. I asked the staff if I can borrow/rent some towel. I know towel wasn't a complimentary item as the pool fee was only 25k, but I was willing to pay for it, I really wouldn't mind if they charged me some money. To my surprise they wouldn't lend me a towel "we don't have any towel" I said "How is it possible for a hotel to not have a towel?" The lady with short hair who seemed to be the manager proceeded to say "we only provide towels to our guest". Wow, the hotel was pretty empty i was sure they have plenty of towels. Bad service. Very stingy. Lack of basic human decency Bathrooms were in terrible condition. It said " Under construction" But trust me i went there 2 years ago and it's still "under construction" until today. I doubt they'll ever fix them. Pool was okay. Not the cleanest but not dirty either.
