Nothing beats delicious local cuisine breakfast while enjoying fresh air (and coffee) in the garden early in the morning. A small paradise in the heart of the city. The staff are super friendly with their trademark Javanese hospitality. Really gives classic retro vibes. If you want to truly experience Solo, this is the place to stay.

This is an old hotel that was existed more than 50 years ago. It was a cottege-theme hotel. With aroung 40 room/cottge avilable surrounding the main hall. The main hall has always been famous for wedding reception place. I stayed here for 2 nights and during my stay has tasted their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some time the food was okay, some time it was not. Located in the centre of the city. Just outside the hotel, I enjoy car-free-day on the main road in Sunday morning until 9 a.m

Old hotel but always busy and many visitors especially for event wedding ceremony.

Can't do further review, because i only came here for wedding invitation. But, i heard that the hotel owned by Mangkunegaran Palace. It build a long time ago, i guess around colonial era. Good heritage! Located strategically at Slamet Riyadi street.

I love the traditional vibe. Although it has a traditional vibe, it's still embracing modernity. So, it's a combination of both. The room is clean, wide enough, everybody has their own parking spot outside the room

Had a great 1-night stay. This hotel is a heritage building, so you’ll see some of the ornaments are from the old times. It was used as a house of a prince. Breakfast was awesome, amenities were complete. Staff were friendly; you may ask for early check in if you are too early, provided that there are available rooms.

The 2 bed room is spacious and pretty comfy. It got front and back patios. The bathroom is clean, neat and tidy. It also have water heater, too. And for pretty big man myself, I can say it pretty large. Because I still can move freely inside. The breakfast has many self servicing dish and the flavour are not bad but the garden gives something different. The location is also very strategic, I can say it's really in the heart of the city.

Booked this hotel based on excellent review I’ve read A vintage well maintained hotel with small garden in the middle Booked for 24 people a small group, stayed facing that garden and we all were enjoyed our stayed, staff hospitality, clean room, breakfast standard but tasty even we asked for coffee and tea to be prepared at 5 am breakfast on box because we have to leaved early, and the hotel was well served! Located at the center of Solo city. Next the hotel is toko buku Gramedia, across the hotel a conventional supermarket Sami Luwes, walking distance to pasar Gede and Orion bakery. Thank you, please keep the vintage of Javanese traditional well managed of the hotel.

Came here for a friend's wedding. Decent enough to hold a small party! Didn't try any rooms, though. I'll get back once I do!

Love the hotel, clean, at middle of the city, delicious breakfast, affordable room. What I really like is can early check in while you had book the place by Traveloka apps.

Best value hotel, clean bed room, strategic location. On Sunday there is car free day just in front where you could explore and find interesting things up to 9AM

good place to sleep, you can rent for some extra bed, you can feel the vintage, it's good if you want to sleep and take some photos, but unfortunately there's no swimming pool, but there's some play ground for children.
