Hi Agoda, you did not check the actual hotel yet, not even 4 star or 5, but I would say its 1 star. Totally poor hotel

My recent stay at Prince Sahid Hotel left me with a mix of impressions. While certain aspects contributed to a pleasant experience, others fell short of expectations. One major drawback was the prevalence of mosquitoes, both in the rooms and the restaurant. This significantly impacted the overall comfort during my stay. The hotel also encountered issues with credit card payments, despite me already providing the information during the booking process. This inconsistency can be inconvenient for guests whose the booking proces handled by their institutions. The Wi-Fi service was subpar, characterized by weak signals and the need for repetitive logins. This could be a hindrance, especially for guests who depend on a reliable internet connection for work. On a positive note, the restaurant, while a bit slow in service and expensive, offered delicious meals. The breakfast buffet, on the other hand is very cheap (only 55k), and with its variety and taste, was a highlight of the culinary offerings. In conclusion, Prince Sahid Hotel, while showing signs of age, has both commendable aspects and areas that need improvement. It might be considered one of the best in its time, but now appears to be a bit over its prime. Despite the challenges, the hotel continues to shine in providing a diverse and delicious breakfast buffet, showcasing glimpses of its former excellence.

You'd feel the history of the place right from the gate. It is a nice and historical place to stay in. But, the highlight is always THE STAFF! VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

One of an old hotel in Solo. calm and beautiful atmosphere. But the problem was the room. It was so dirty for 4 stars hotel. And also had a bit problem with the lights and water… unfortunately.

Not much to say, this hotel has it own unique atmosphere that suits Surakarta, which is good! Though there are some flaw considering this is 4 star hotel but i think its acceptable and make me satisfied. Just need to put some improvement especially on the facility of the rooms and services it could be perfect! Another thing to note that this hotel has strategic location which is if u are on a vacation, it makes ur holiday easier and more enjoyable.

A hotel where you can experience the history of the Javanese culture. I had my traditional Javanese wedding here with my wife and it was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget. The service is excellent, though the rooms could use an update for the modern times, but then again, this is the charm of the hotel- it is a trip back to the older times of Solo.

I was here to attend a family wedding event at the pendopo. So far, as I saw from outside, this venue was quiet nice.

My first visit to Solo becomes memorable because of this hotel. Loved the rooms I got (the big ones) and the room services were quite tasty. They might also want to add more spicy food. But even so, I really loved the Indonesian food they served. Might as well keep them hot for better taste.

This is an older hotel, so please go in with the right frame of mind. It's frayed at the edges in terms of facilities. But the Javanese hospitality and helpfulness of the staff is unbeatable. The compound is huge, there are many ornamental varieties of fowl kept on the grounds, the main pool is excellent and the food in the restaurant is delicious.

The room is good and enough for 3 people. The pool is great and large for a hotel. What I dislikes are: The wifi is quite slow, better use your own cellular data. Some ants are found near in the bed.

Not recommended. The facilities and the maintenance are very poor. But on the other hand the service from the staff is very good. Update: when i complaint and askes for another room, they offer me to have a free upgrade. Which i appreciated very much. So again.. aside from their poor facilities, their service and hospitality are indeed unbeatable

The building and rooms need some renovation, so that it is more adaptable to the times without losing its historical values and cultural patterns.

Best for me because near citycenter and affordable for the price and facilities, FYI the price per-Visit for their pool is IDR 30K and y'all will get bottled water too, but you have to bring yourself towel because towels here just for Hotel Room Guests, then they have <1m until 3m deep and for the 3m itself not that flat but looks alike square frustum

Good scenery but low maintained. Many things need to be done to make this hotel great again. The employee is very friendly and there are many options for food.

It is a spacious lovely hotel, an old one but decent. I booked through agoda a deluxe twin room with 64m2, although it turned out the room is much smaller than 64m2 (superior one?). i experienced once stayed in a bigger room. If you plan to use an extra bed and have booked a spacious one, please check first and ensure the room size.

This hotel is a vintage one. I visited this hotel when there was a Suzuki Splash Club gathering. The building is typically traditional. I have no information about the room rate. For those who like vintage architecture and design might like to stay in this hotel. This hotel is downtown, so it is near from shops and souvenir stores.

Royal Javanese Joglo house converted into a 3 Star hotel. Other facilities : 3 meter deep swimming pool, business/meeting rooms, and a restaurant. Bungalows are located in the front part of the hotel. A little drawback : the car parking lot is not too spacious. Overall is a very nice and comfortable place to stay while you are in Solo.
