Wonderful views of Samui from the top. Took the cable car up - usual price was THB 200, when there was a special discount when I was there, so only paid THB 100. Nice Cafe on the top with reasonable prices Strongly recommend this place

Pizza 🍕 200, ice cream 🍨 in coconut 🥥 200 any cocktails also around this price. Stuff been super friendly, good and drinks are testy. Also free Wi-Fi.

To go up to the top you pay 100 Baht per person, for 200 you can take a cable car up and down, but you have to walk a bit up to the station. I chose to use my legs up and down myself, and walked through fairly dense forest. At the top, there are great photo opportunities towards the sea, and here there is also a cafe with both food and drink with pleasant service. At the top, there is also the option of taking a Zipline for those who wish, and there are good seats both in the cafe and on other ledges. A decent change from other sights, and parking is done outside the place where you buy tickets.

Beautiful viewpoint overlooking Lamai, with friendly staff, a fairly extensive food & drink menu and incredible views. There is a platform to take all your photos from and the staff helped us get some incredible shots. Worth a visit if you're in the area! It's a steep stepped unhill climb (10 mins) but mostly in the shade. Cable car also available but there is a some steps to tackle before you get to the base of the cable car. Costs as of 26/10/23 (per person) 100 Baht to walk up and down 200 Baht for a return trip on the cable car 800 Baht for Zip lining

Beautiful views. Lovely coastal drive to get there. There is good cable car rode for 200B but if you prefer a hike walk up around 300+ steps. Definitely worth it. The cafe on top serves good food and drinks. Don't forget to climb an extra floor from the cafe for a great sea view with lounge beds.

A place to visit, but not a must. Great views. We did a short up and down trip with the cable cart, did not do the zip line.

Lamai Viewpoint offers a serene spot to pause and appreciate the stunning scenery. Access to the viewpoint is free, with the added option of a 200 THB cable car ride for those who prefer a more leisurely ascent. Do note that even with the cable car, a short 5 to 10-minute walk and some stair climbing are necessary. One downside is the payment method for the cable car tickets, as they do not accept Visa payments for amounts under 500 THB. The beverage prices are reasonable, adding to the relaxed experience. However, while the pizza we ordered fell short of expectations — frankly, it was rather disappointing — I cannot speak for the other food offerings. For adventure seekers, there's also a zipline available, which I did not experience myself. Overall, Lamai Viewpoint is a must-visit for its tranquil atmosphere and spectacular views

A very nice viewpoint, like many others. Entrance fee is 100 baht. For 200 baht you also get a cable car from the ground to the viewpoint. Entrance also includes a dr. fish thing, where small fish nibble in your feet (optional!) Food in the restaurant is not that interesting, but you come here for the view and that is the point.

I won’t forget this viewpoint where we’ve done our first zipline experience. You can use cash and card at the lobby to access this viewpoint. 200B entrance fee per person, plus if you want to do the zip line it’s 800B, but they give free entrance if you’ll have the zipline, so we paid 800B per pax only. It’s a jungle going up there, dont forget to use mosquito spray before beginning your walk. It’s nice to stroll around the area, fresh and full of bushes and trees. Just be careful while on the walking path coz of the slope. Though it has stairs, it’s a bit steep for me. I am satisfied with my Overall experience. The staffs at the top are accommodating and friendly, and we stayed the whole afternoon at the restaurant. Though its summer time, it’s very refreshing to hangout on the top. They have drinks and dishes served at the restaurant and they have phone charging outlet at every corner of dining area, free wifi too

We went there for ziplining. It was a really fun experience to zipline at such a food height. The coach who helps zipline is amazing and very sweet. He takes very nice photos of you while ziplining as well. Recommended if you're staying in the vicinity of the place. They also have places to stay (that makes the ziplining a tad bit lesser expensive). All in all great place. Lovely views.

Nice spot to spend an hour or so to check out the view. 100 Baht to ride upto the viewpoint and back on the cable car. There is a steep walk to get to the cable car from the carpark. Views are great, staff are lovely, food and drink available including cocktails and beers. DJ was setting up as we were leaving. 4 viewing decks and zipline rides also.

I think it's a little over rated. You can go to many better view points in Koh Samui without having to pay 50 baht just to get in. View was pretty decent and people are cool but I dont think its worth paying for

Nice view and chill If you’re young and healthy walk there! You needs ticket to go there, if you want to the cable car is available and you need to pay extra but it’s just 7 min walk to reach there.

One of the best viewpoints in Samui. Great area for pictures. Staff is friendly. Their pizza of course is not traditional but is delicious. The zipline is a bit expensive for Asia but still affordable compared to The West.

We went there for some hours to relax and enjoy the view over Lamai! The location itself is amazing - a little bit and of wind and a nice view. The Drinks a good and the prices are moderate! The service was fast and very friendly! If you looking for a great place to hang out for some hours check it out!

Beautiful views of Lamai from the top, however websites advised entry was free but this is not the case. They ask for a 100 Baht visitor fee at a minimum, where you can climb to the Viewpoint by foot, or pay 200 Baht to take the cable car up and back. They also do a zip line for 1000 Baht per person, which is a lot of fun. They do also offer a drone video and photos for the zip line at an extra 200 Baht per person. Although the costs add up, it really is worth it for the views. Plus the little bar/cafe at the top is a nice place to relax and enjoy the views

Very nice quite restaurant up in the mountains Sad that they charge you 100 bhat for entrance and you walk upstairs and spending money at the restaurant anyway and prices is bit high there 🙁 Good view .. service is great PS you can pay 200 bhat and you can ride cable car up and down 😁

This is one of the nicest viewpoint present in Koh Samui. They have different options to reach the viewpoint - 100 Baht/Person to walk up and down 200 Baht/Person to take a return trip via Cable Car 800 Baht/Person for using the zipline The climb is bit steep. We reached there in the afternoon and wanted to reach the viewpoint before sunset. So we went with the Cable car option. At the top they have a resturant where you can have food while enjoying the view. They have options in their menu card. The staffs are polite and friendly. Also they have props available which you can use while taking photos in the view point. It's a quiet place to chill and enjoy the view. Valentine stone is present at the bottom and one can take picture there.

All amazing experiences. Super nice people working there. You can buy ticket at the bottom office and walk up (8min hike). I did the zip lining it was really fun. But the filming dude zoomed out when I was sliding in so basically the video was all blurred lol.

That's a great view point there. The laughing fish was the topping. Entrance fee of 100 baht, and personally I feel it's a bit over priced as the drinks were also over priced.

A must visit spot for great views of Lamai. Cable car ride to the viewpoint is a good option if you want to skip the hike due to hot weather. Food at the cafe was good.

  • 4/5 Chris E. 11 months ago on Google
A great place to visit, there is the valentine stone at the bottom and some fish pond activity to see. Then there is an option to either walk up or pay and get a ride up to the viewpoint, I opted for the walk up, it wasn’t hectic or bad at all so it’s a fair walk. Once on top there is a cool place to sit and chill and the views are spectacular, you can have drinks and it really is worth the visit, if you went at sunset then you would be even more amazed at the view, great place for some Instagram pics.

Lovely place with a great view and friendly staff. Nice cafe on the viewpoint. We went up and down with the cable car (200 baht per person, over 5 years), and I also did the zipline with our kids (9, 6. Another 800 baht per person). The zipline was nice but very short compared to others we did (only two slides), so I find the price to be a bit high, also the cable car is expensive in Thai terms (in doi suthep we paid 50 for the same cablecar). The price is why I gave 4 stars and not 5.

  • 5/5 Tanya K. 1 year ago on Google
Get the cable car to the viewpoint and enjoy a drink or ice cream. The staff are very friendly. On the way back, you can stop at the fish spa. Just be warned these fish are bigger than the ones you get in tanks in shops, so they do a good job, but it is pretty intense!

  • 5/5 Ieva V. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing view and super nice staff. Since we are traveling with our one year old baby it was good, that there is an option to get up there with a cable car. We very much enjoyed our meal at the viewpoint café.

Must visit place in Koh Samui:) amazing views 🌟 The staff very helpful and so welcoming. Entry by elevator 100THB per person Entry if you walk up 50THB per person Valentine stone and little pond with small fishes in the price. There is a zip line as well but we didn’t check the prices for that:/

Awesome, you can get a zip line, walk or lift up the viewpoint but don't forget to dunk your feet in the funny fish spa for the giggles its worth it.

  • 5/5 Jesse Z. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing views from this lookout and there is also a nice cafe/bar and a zipline at the top. Great place to relax. You can take the cable car to the top for 100 baht, it's a short uphill walkk to the cable car

We really enjoyed our family morning at Lamai Viewpoint. Super friendly staff, nice and cool up there - and riding the cable car is a thrill. 😆

An underrated spot in Samui in my opinion. The view was nice and they had a smart option to have a cable car for people who don’t want to walk all the way up and down the hill, although you have to walk a small amount to get to the cable car. Surprisingly, the food and drinks here were amazing too! Reasonably priced with friendly staff and the seating area was so relaxing. If you don’t want to eat at the restaurant, they also have a nice seating area above. The bathrooms were also clean and well maintained.
