I visited here with my Mom. I Loved their food quality as well as their services. Restaurant manager came to us in every 5 minute to ask if we need anything. And while serving, every staff members had wore mask and Plastic hat properly. Dishes were also Clean and Hygienic.

Very nice place for having an unlimited gujarati thali. Ambience is nice, staffs are nice and spacious too. But nothing extraordinary as I had a bit high expectations. Food taste can be improved. Per person costs 280 INR, which is definitely a good unlimited option if you are a foodie. Parking facility available, so you can come with your family but sometimes overcrowded.

I recently tried the Gujarati Thai parcel from Sasumaa and I was not thoroughly elated with the overall experience. While the Daal was impressive, the overall variety left me wanting more. The confusion with the Gujarati Thai dish made the experience less enjoyable. The taste of the sabji was average, and the Farsaan, which is usually a taste lifter, fell short of expectations. The choice of a small choora laddoo as the sweet was underwhelming. On a positive note, the Daal stood out as a highlight. I believe there's room for improvement in offering a more diverse and satisfying menu. Gujarati thadi in reasonable price approx 300 per plate . They have served chapati, puri, 4 veg and 1 paneer sabji, 2 sweets, dal bati, two type of dal, buttermilks, kadhi, rice, papad, salad, dhokda, gugra, etc… All staffs are well behaved.

Decent place for Gujarati thaali. The thaali is priced at 250-300₹. The service is quite good, though I found that the plates and utensils could have been better cleaned.

A very tasty Gujarati meal indeed. It was authentic, but I did notice a couple of Rajasthani dishes as well. The service was good and the place is very very clean. If you are in Surat, I would definitely ask you to try this place. The food is lite, but it is so tasty you won't realise until you have eaten way too much.

A great place to have a traditional Gujarati thali. There were 30 of us and the manager made sure to give us personal attention and made sure none of us lacked in any service. The food is pretty standard fare as it is with such places: at Rs. 320 per head including GST, the food is just right. Not spicy just the right amount of oil. A bit sugary but we had requested the management to prepare a small amount sans sugar and they did so. We had rotis and mini rotlas with butter as bread. Some four Subjis including some lip smacking lochko mug nu shaak, dal and kadhi very sugary, rice, three Farsaan including dhokla, chaat and another savoury. Two sweets and the inevitable chaas. The air conditioning was below par but not an issue as it was not that warm Overall would recommended because of the personal attention to customers and the friendly staff and the food, of course.

I am eating gujarati thali since 2009 in this area. I used to go in sasuma back in years. I really disappointed with taste and appearance of thali. I paid and step out from restaurant after just 3 bites. I recommend go for kansar with better taste quality and appearance. I attached both restaurants pics .. now decide yourself

A decent Gujarati Thali place in Surat city. It was not that crowded when we were there for Thali in the evening. The subzis/samosa/red garlic chutney are the highlights of the thali in my opinion.This could be improved. The khichdi /dal/rotis/kadi were all standard & good.The dessert was rabdi when I visited and that was strictly average.

Ordered a mini thali..Waste of hard earned money. dal mein ek daal ka dana nhi..paneer mein 10 g paneer nhi..aaloo ki sabji mein poora aaloo..Save ur money.. Owner is not ready to improve poor quality of food. My last order to them.

Very basic thali. Nothing very extraordinary or something to go ga ga about. It's a hyped place. The phulkas were decent. However the sabzi's had no taste at all. The dals had no gujju taste. The farsan - dhokla was hard. The rice quality was bad. The sweet was tasteless & just condensed milk. Will not recommend

I have tried kansar guharathi thali in surat before. It was time for this restaurant. We went ahead for this on a saturday evening. It took us 10 min to clear the waiting. This is the first restaurant i saw which has thali system yet they are charging you later. Appreciate the hospitality. Coming to the food, It was perfect. Not so spicy not so sweet. I am not a gujarthi and can i understand the pressure of finishing the entire thali. Indeed i was able to do that to my expectations. They will also serve moong daal khichadi at the end (not in the picture). So have some space for that too. I ll definitly like to put it above kansar in surat. Must try!!!!

Gujarati thali is no more gujarati thali. I visited after 18 years wishing to enjoy gujarati thali. Taste was good but they served chole,Paneer,Punjabi daal in gujarati thali. If you are someone who has very low appetite pls don’t go. The thali is very expensive for the number of items they served. If you are non gujarati and wants to try gujarati food do visit Jalaram Khichadi. That place serves limited thali but you won’t regret paying 130rs. And if you wish to go for more items go fo Kansar. Taste is good. Ambience is good. Service is excellent. But that added punch of something different or extraordinary was missing. It's more like routine stuff now. Scope for improvement. It is very good for outsiders who come to surat and visit. But if you are local and want tp again and again..you need a welcome change also. Ashish bhai was very good in guiding and service.

Food was pathetic, Kadhi was sour, Found hire in fired chilly, I reject the hand bowl still he put on my table I asked for food two to three time than they served When I complained about the water bowl, and other things the owner started shouting at me. I'm on my way to complaint further. *NOT RECOMMENDED*

We have had Gujarati Thali from Sasumaa 5/6 years back and was wonderful then. But the quality was found unsatisfactory and disappointed in the last visit😔

This has been one of my favourite place in Surat for full meal. The unlimited thali is not just about unlimited food but the variety, taste, service and the atmosphere around. The staff are very polite and helpful. They take care that you eat till your belly is full and keep on checking with you if you need anything. They have a very unique sign language method to call for any food item you request on table.

I loved the food here but there are a lot of Gujarati dishes which are, and should be a part of Gujarati thali are missing. You might have to wait for sometime due to waiting here. Staff is good and they serve with happy smiling faces. They ask you to eat a bit more. Thalis are for aroud 260₹ and it’s unlimited. Also if somebody wastes food then they charge 30 rs extra. Good place to eat with family.
