Really nice garden at Athwa gate.earlier there was a lot of crowd but now the crowd is quite less and it is really very quite, there are some metro construction work going on but still the garden is quite clean. At the end of the garden there is a way to walk out and walk towards theriverfront, where you can walk really well and get a view of the new cable state Bridge on the Tapti river which is really nice.

Pretty big garden with nice trees plants and lots of grass garden areas also large water feature that they turn on in the afternoon. Garden is kept nice to tidy. There are lots of squirrels darting around. There are lots of benches to sit on however they are all located Directly under trees and so these benches are covered in bird dropping which is pretty disgusting. Bird dropping can carry upto 60 types of diseases and pose a serious health risk to humans So going to a park like this state can be a serious health hazzard. They need to locate these benches away from tree to People also need to stop feeding these birds and no feeding signs should be sign posted around the park. Also people spitting pan is disgusting and spread diseases, India should put a ban on this disgusting filthy habit if they want India to become a nice place to live and visit.

There is Surat Municipal nursery. You can buy plants from here but items are not more and I am not satisfied. Plants are limited and most of plants they are using for themselves to decorate vertical garden. So they are not giving to us. So always you will be dissatisfy.
