This is a 2 star hotel but with higher prices. The rooms are old and in serious need of renovation. The staff is great, however, and very helpful. There are some major issues other than being old. The hotel has an infestation problem that needs to be taken care of asap. They don't have irons in every room and it's a shared commodity for the floor so you are literally waiting for your turn. The breakfast is pretty decent and the in room dining is excellent. The location is great and probably the main reason to stay here.

Lords Plaza Hotel, Surat, India 2nd – 11th February 2020 The location is excellent. The reception upgraded our room after seeing that we had quite a bit of luggage; the room is very spacious and clean with most amenities, extremely good value for money. Breakfast was excellent a variety of dishes. The Wi-Fi worked although the reception was poor from our bedroom because our room was the very end of the corridor, and the password only lasted 24 hours. The hotel staffs were very friendly and accommodating they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs to stay in the central of Surat.

No harm done if you halt for a day. Don't expect much Restaurant services is not impressive nor hygienic. Waiters are more of trainees. Hotel Location is perfect.

Hotels is just 5 min walk from Surat railway station, easy to find. Check in and check out was easy and quick.Hotel experience was Good as per the price,it was value for money, kindly book the hotel rooms via online websites such as agoda for best price. Rooms were clean and spacious.free packed drinking water is provided with all the toiletries as complimentary. Swimming pool was clean and well maintained,pool water was clear and regularly changed. Please note:- Person with local I'd is not allowed for rooms and as visitor also.

The hotel is located near Surat Railway Station and Markets. A very courteous staff. My stay was very pleasant. The restaurant offers complimentary breakfast which is very sumptuous and delight to the taste buds. The food is very tasty and delicious. Overall a very comfortable hotel to stay.

I am giving best rating Just because I o served bass on 2 day stay here. Food quality specially BF is best, Room service obviously No doubt. Last but not least the staff they are very much cooperative which is the primary need of every visitor. For me it's good place to stay.

We chose this hotel as it has a swimming pool at the top floor. It was worth staying there for 1 night. The rates are reasonable. Room size is adequate for family of 3. Valet parking is available. Breakfast is good. Air-conditioning is sufficient for Surat summers. They also keep packets of dryfruits and namkeen alongside water bottles but those are at extra charges.

The hotel has improved a lot since the last time I stayed here. While the rooms still have the old feel, the service is better. One thing that needs to be restored quickly is the lift which was not working yet

Tiny rooms. Checks forever to check in. Breakfast is basic. Very small dining area so you are forced to share tables with other guests unless you want a long wait. Food is not that brilliant either. Needs a lot of TLC. Noisy for 24 hrs, no way of getting away from that.

Stayed here for two weeks. I did not have much conversation with the staffs but they seem quite friendly. However, the rooms and the gym definitely need renovation. The sofa in the room is very dusty. The gym was also dusty. Foods were nice nevertheless cups and cutlery were not cleaned. Friendly staffs, nice people, but hotel conditions need to be improved. The valet staffs were friendly and supported.

The property is great, the staff isnt well trained. One of the cleaners entered the room to check whether someone is inside or not, within 5 seconds of trying to ring the bell (which itself wadnt working). The morning breakfast is terrible, better to not include if they give the option. There are multiple areas where they can improve. Although the rooms were clean, hot water available 24x7. Good parkimg facilities. Can stay if you want a place to pass a night or two.

Located in a busy area near railway station, the hotel does not have a campus. You walk in straight from the road. Parking is roadside but safe and under watch 24X7. Rooms are fairly sized, well appointed and well maintained. They are soundproof , not allowing street and railway noise to get in. Restaurant offers good food, breakfast spread is good but the service personnel, though polite, need some training in handling orders efficiently. They have a wine shop on premises but the person who is expected to issue a permit is non cooperative and reluctant to work. Rather than issuing manual permit he directs you on a photocopy shop to get an online permit. The lady at the shop is rude and indifferent.

Near the station. Renovated but seems only the exterior work was done. Rooms are large but not very well maintained Bathroom was not very tidy. Food ordered for in room was quite good and arrived quickly Need to improve on front desk. I got 4 calls at 2am to confirm my name....

The hotel property is located at a prome location, the rooms are bit old fashioned, ac new in few rooms and old in few rooms, water quality in washroom is poor, majority staffs are trainees and few are trained seniors and seems to be understaff. Approach to 10th and 11th floors is confusing. Hotel comprises of a wonderful swimming pool. "Sorry" is the common word used by the staff. Vallet parking facility available. 2 nos. Of Lift. Bell boy available.

I visited for an event At the Blue corridor resturant 1. I have eaten food and asked for tissue the service provider or waiter rudely behaved and said take it your self it's on the cash counter beside table 2. I asked for finger bowl but the answer I get from the waiter is to wash hand outside the resturant Want to ask the LORDS PLAZA MANAGER IS THIS STANDARD MAINTAINING such a way of behavioral action with customer service And food was very average no worth . BUT GOOD ATMOSPHERE AND MAINTAINED HYGEINE PLEASE TAKE AN STRICT ACTION ON THAT STAFF VERY DISAPPOINTING 🙏

Hotel is very old Hotel but still maintaining luxury. Rooms are maintain clean. Just 1 km to Surat Railway station & Busstand. Breakfast was buffet system. The food is very tasty and delicious. Chicken curry and Chicken Biriyani was delicious I like soo much. This hotel provide pool & Gym facility .Overall a very comfortable hotel to stay.

Clean rooms, only problem was leakage from the AC vent. Food was okay, breakfast buffet spread was good. Do have a rooftop restaurant as well, as it was raining do the have a beautiful view

Surat is best accessible by train. This property is close to station. Spacious hygienic rooms, prompt service and strong understanding by kitchen teams when you place special requests. Have stayed there 3-4 times and will continue to choose Lords Plaza when in Surat.

Rooms : the quality of the water is poor and the room is quiet old fashioned and the bathrooms aswell. The ac was old in our room and the bed was nice and all. Service: service was ok as it was under staffed and no one to pick our bags and while I was picking them up one of them offered to help but I guess for money I was near the car and it was 2 feet away like bro I came all the way from there no need . And there was only one staff helping with the beds I feel sorry for him. Location: it is in the middle of the road and the parking as well but it was under supervision 24/7 which was great and the rooms were sound proof I guess as there was no noise of the traffic .

No handwash available.. Cleanliness poor in bathroom commode.. Kitchen.. Restaurant very poor.. Rates very high as per rooms and facilities.. Food taste ok.. Tea coffee not seved fresh.. Is it 3 star?? Many 2 star are better.. What are they charging for?? 5k!!

From outside hotel looks ok but inside looks like lodging rooms not good staff are vary unprofessional they don't value customer food quality ok ok not too good as name suggest I stayed two times for 8-10 days each time but both time bad experience will never recommend any one to stay smaller hotel in city much much better than this hotel

I've booked this hotel for my Australian client and my client's experience is the worst one... - Room was dirty as well as the bathroom - Hotel key card was not working so got an electricity issue. My client stayed without electricity for around 2 hours. - My client has ordered one veg sandwich but she got a reply like it's not possible. - Noisy fan in the bedroom and if you will book this hotel, maybe you will see onion or salad inside your blanket because we have seen that...I've attached a photo here which we got inside from the blanket. ;( - It's my genuine advice please never book this hotel.

Nice experience visiting this place. Visited for my exam but by seeing the helping nature of staff I am assuming that this hotel will have great service. And the cleanliness is up to the mark.

Our stay was good at the hotel. Staff was very courteous and rooms were clean . Only 1 feedback is the bathtub in the bathroom occupies a lot of space. it would be better if removed and a normal bathing area kept. Overall, a good stay and highly recommended.

Nice hotel nearby railway station, just to costly but food taste is good. Standard rooms have no galary, if you looking view type hotel this is not that one. Staff is very good breakfast serve very politely. Everything you required they will provide you within time.

I came with cousin for IELTS..and I don't have place to stay nor relatives so I asked the staff that could you allow me to stay because I have no other option, so they said you can wait in sitting area until your cousin finishes his exam. I really enjoyed staying here. The staff are very polite. I would personally recommend this place to vist Or stay. You can bring your kids family and they have special services for senior citizens. Loved it 👍

A decent budget hotel with all essential amenities. Old is gold is true here. Much better the new major joints which have sprung up in the vicinity. The complimentary breakfast is excellent.

It wasn't a great experience there. Lords name is big and so were our expectations. But after seeing the room, the expectations doomed. It was all dull from inside. The room was big but not giving happy vibes. It was not cleaned properly or disinfectant either (They should have a roach spray). They should be renovating their hotel or make it more modern. It is very old i can say from the fittings and all. The staff should be upgraded. Very slow service though. We had complimentary breakfast which was good. Otherwise it was not much as expected.

Good clean rooms. Room size is good, more contemporary design would add to quality of stay. Room service is great, Near Railway station and on main road has its advantages. This adds to lot of noise from road and poor air quality.

From the outside and the lobby, lovely. Unfortunately our rooms failed to live up to the supposed standard of the hotel. The room was clean, but needs work. The bathroom was not up to standard I'm afraid. The bath was cracked and uneven, the shower curtain was dirty and did not even reach past the bath top. And it had an unfortunate mouldy smell. We stayed in the Lord's Inn in Vadodara and the Surat on does not match level of service we received there.

Hotel was good. Room was also good but very sticking smell is there in washroom though it was clean. Hanging lamps were very dirty with web on it. The most disasters is food and service of coriander resturant where they don't have time to give you perfect answers for your questions. The price of food is very high compared to food and taste is okok. In the morning breakfast it was good but Paratha is very spicy that children can't eat it.

This is very old Hotel but still maintaining class & luxury. Rooms are equipped with every needed thing. Very near to Surat Railway station but still quite in atmosphere.

Good budget stay. Polite staff though service is limited. Excellent breakfast spread. A good option if you are just passing through Surat and want a night halt. Room size was better than most other hotels in Surat.

The location of this hotel is good. The rooms was very bad. It was a non-smoking room but was filled with smoke. They didn't offer another room. The room was needed for 2hrs but they charged for a full day. Normally all hotels consider special rates when details are shared.

Ive had a terrible experience here, the service is just not worth the money. During check in I had been told by the management working at the time to pay the total amount in the gap of 2 days each till the full duration - which also is a bit weird because all hotels accept payment during checkout - after the whole conversation and paying the said amount at the time told, the management abruptly deactivates our card without informing, and when confronted said that we need to pay the total amount right there and then and that they would not activate before the payment. After a long conversation and the management accepting what they had said, the senior manager refused to accept that it was a mistake at their end, a communication gap at their end! However, He went further ahead accusing us of not paying any amount even after all the payment records clearly stated infront of him. The senior manager was rude, mean and had such a such wrong tone of voice, He just didn't want to listen, all he wanted was his money and didn’t care one bit of us, our family, and what we had to say. Ive traveled before, booked hotels, never once have I had such a bad experience. Whats the point of paying so much when you get dragged into such a mess in the middle of the stay all of a sudden! Definitely do not recommend, save your hard earned money, no one wants to get accused!
