This place is best for family as well as couples who want to spend romantic dinner dates on occasions. They have group reservations discounts. This is the only hotel in Surat with a revolving restaurant at the top most floor. On busiest days they try their best to serve as soon as possible. Food was amazing until they tried to rush the orders which made the quality of the food fair otherwise it can be assured that the food quality justified the price they had to offer. No idea about the living experience as I've only been for dinners. They have experienced and new staff both. Staff was kind and polite towards their customers even during the most rushed hours, non of them showed losing their cool which was commendable. The management needs to be rearranged. Special attention needs to be taken when they plan for special occasions offers and dinner ideas because it brings down the boiling pressure on the kitchen and serving staff leaving them to deal with annoyed customers which was unfair towards them. It wouldn't have hurt if the menus would have been reduced (veg and non-veg) to limited ones on special occasions so that the kitchen staff would not have to prep for loads of dishes. The amount of food (only with reference to gravy and rice as starters was perfect) served can also be balanced because it may be hard to finish a few dishes for some. The intense tension in kitchen and on serving staff could be sensed as they were running around to make up for the dishes arriving late on tables even as being a diner. Overall, if the menus are well planned and reduced for occasions this place will get better just as it has been for years. 👍🏻 P. S. This review is with reference to only one dinner experience which was recent. Therefore I cannot comment on their performance done on daily basis which might or might not be better than what I saw.

Cost wise high! Most visit are related to location of the hotel and the fascinating fact that it revolves for real. Food was ok. We have order panner, chicken, rice and daal. The food is good but the main waiter who takes order is rude, tell them to cool down so people can select food. Reputation of hotel which is very famous in the area is ruined by such people.

Nice place to stay for visitors...as well point of attraction for visitors and local residents because of revolving restaurant, where anyone can see the glorious view'of city with full 360° on height of 16th floor.

less quantity in chinese food & never order italian pizza, it’s better to make in our home. they are not serving sizzlers.

View is super good , but yea area in which this hotel is situated is very busy whole the day, very traffic because of MARKET. Service is really good & workers are polite.

The hand held jet in toilet is not long enough to reach the place it is supposed to wash! Rooms are outdated. Toilets are outdated. There is a strange stench when you enter the premises. Lift is outdated. Manual channel open/close mechanism. It got stuck with my 60+ years old father in the lift, in between floors and no one at hotel knew what to do. We got stuck in the lift for 1 hour. Then had to wait for another hour for the lift to be fixed, so that I could reach my room on the 6th floor with my 60+ years old father. Online it showed "free breakfast" but when we reached, we were told we'll have only 3-4 options for breakfast which will be delivered as room service. No buffet breakfast on the day of check-in. (They later told there will be a buffet breakfast the next day). Ridiculous experience. Will never recommend anyone to book this again. Spend 1000 rupees more for a mid range hotel like Ginger or even spend 1000 less for a dharmashala, but never go to a hotel with an outdated lift that can stop working any time!

This was the first time I visited a revolving hotel Kandeel which is the oldest one. I really enjoyed the view and the food was up to mark and pretty decent.
