Having food in a restaurant is rather an experience than just about eating. What is the point in serving food if the person serving the food can't behave properly and dress hygienic. The kitchen is visible from dining space, which seems to be pathetic. One can always let go of it considering the financial situation, but not about their behavior. The food is ok, Considering kerala food is not easily available here in surat.I hope someday they make the restaurant better.My review sums up to this dialogue from Ustaad hotel. Authentic Kerala food at a very cheap price. Fried fish, Kerala porotta, Kerala meals and the Sunday special Biriyani are the best! It's not a big restaurant so the ambience is not that good but there is always an option to take parcel. If you have a special Kerala dish in mind, you can get it made by pre-order on phone.

It is a very good restaurant in terms of food taste (authentic kerala taste). All items like appam, choru , chicken curry, pothu etc available. On Sundays u will get chicken biriyani. Only limited seats are available. It's a budget hotel. Chicken curry @60 rs. Chicken biriyani @ Rs 140/- and ona sadhya @ Rs 250(parcel)

Very tasty and homely south Indian cuisine. Just go for the taste, rest everything is irrelevant as it's a small venture run by hardworking people.

They have tasty kerala delicacies... Biriyani and kerala thali (nadan unnu) is tasty.. They don't have impressing sitting arrangement to dine with family.. and The couples who run the show do not have friendly behavior.. they easily get irritated

Okay okay. Better places available nearby in Udhna darwaja. Homely food for Kerala people. However not very eye catching or anything.

The only place found in surat for authentic kerala food. A small shop but serves good food.

A small place run by a family. Although Sitting area is less, Taste is excellent. Best Kerela Food in Surat, absolutely no doubt.

The location of this hotel is good . It’s just 3 km far from Surat railway station. Actual place is Udhana Darwarja . Small hotel , only 3 table are available. But Food was delicious you get original taste of kerala .rice with Fish curry supreb.Price also cheaper rate .The owner was very friendly .All dishes were yummy taste Payment-Card payment no available .
