Nice place with good ambiance. They Serve authentic South Indian Food. I went for breakfast. I have ordered Thatte Idli with podi & Ghee, Rasam Vada and filter coffee. Tatse was awesome. Thatte Idli is a big size idli topped with ghee and podi powder served with sambhar and coconut chutney. Rasam Vada was also very tasty. Vada dipped in Rasam Served with coconut chutney. Very budget friendly and quality good with good ambiance.

South Indian Cuisines in Surat. My personal favourite is their Thatte Idli sided with the Filter coffee. One of the few early openers in Surat, you can have breakfast @0830 Am. The rates are reasonable and pocket friendly.

I went after seeing lots of reviews on authentic South Indian foods. No doubt the food they served was really awesome in taste, but not up to pure authentic vibes that's why I end up to 4 ⭐. I have tried mysur masala dhosa, ghee podi dhosa, thatte idli & masala dhosa. Among that I suggest idli must try. Atmosphere 2 ⭐. they should work on their ac. all tables under the ac are wet due to cooling water drops.

Simply I can say this is my all time favourite place to go for South Indian food. The best part is I never feel guilty or regret after having food at this place. It feels like home made food only. Service is also good. I like when I go to there for morning breakfast n the owner seating at counter welcome me with warm smile always 😊. Other staff is also polite and always serve in proper way.Ambiance is simply nice n clean. Must try Palak dosa n filter coffee.

A typical South Indian joint - clean place, nice ambience and awesome menu to choose from. Their thatte podi idli and filter coffee are must try items. This is a reasonably priced South Indian joint which gives authentic South Indian taste. If you love idli dhosa and coffee and want a South Indian taste then this is a must visit place.

I have been to this place whenever i go surat.initially the service was too good. Now service as well as food is not up to the mark. Owners of this hotel give the responsibilty to the workers, who dont care about customers. No polite word u can expect the servers who serve food here.

Hey... Best & MUST try South Indian tasty food in Surat. The name is "Simply Madras" and the food test is described in Name Only. Also simple but delicious menu items. Food test is more than any description in word, so MUST try and you will always remember the test. Enjoy your outing.

We've been regular to this place for an year now. The taste of items has been same. However, please don't dish out items to the patrons that aren't what you claim. Pudina rice without a hint of flavor Pudina & the staff claim, "This is made this way, you may check with any other south Indian place". There is not a single hint of Pudina in it. While I don't contradict your claim for other south Indian dishes, I shall make an exception here. We shall keep coming back.

Vanakkam Surat! The original taste i had in South india , i felt here in Chatni, Sambar and Dhosa. It's a good option for south food lovers in Surat city. It's less space & no-order-on-table needs to be considered by the owners. There is always waiting in weekend evenings as usual.

THE place to go if you wanna have that real taste of south indian food. Since Im an idli sambar junkie, I go there to get the feel every once in awhile. Just love it! Always refreshes my memory when I was in Bangalore. Some days they were!

We ordered Masala Dosa and Rava masala dosa.. Service was quick and professional.. Taste of dosa is not so awsome but good.. in comparison to mysore Cafe dosa this is 2nd in rank. Bisi Belle bath was very tasty.. Filter coffee is good..

I has been coming here since 3 years,and I had seen the food quality and taste getting better each passing day. Prefer: Dine-in to experience the richness of this place.

It is quite bad, if I could would have rated zero. We had guests over and decided to check this place out. This was the first time and the last that we went there, Poor service, they forgot our orders, even after repeatedly asking them about our food, they apologised but didn’t act on it One of our guests never received their order, When we asked them that why is it taking more than an hour for a dosa, their reply was it’s okay we would refund your money They are quite insensitive to customers, after 70+ mins they served our order that they claimed chef forgot abt, it was raw When I went to counter for payment, Manager apologised, I told her it’s not about the apology, it was bad customer service and experience to which she replied “main usme kya kar sakti hun?” To which I could only answer, “service theek Karke” The staff is as clueless as its chef and manager Would not suggest this place to anyone.

I will break my review into two sections, 1) Good points a) Food- The food of this restaurant is simply perfection , I have always loved coming here for dinners with family , anytime I want to have south Indian food . (Dish recommendation - Ghee Podi dosa, I love it a lot) b) The staff is very humble and I like their behavior over all . 2) Bad points a) the place is a little small That's it from me .

We had simple meals curd rice and lemon rice . The food was awesome and we could see that there are many dosa’s orders . The price is reasonable and the flavours are authentic. In short good place to enjoy truly South Indian meal in Surat

If you guys really like to have tamilnadu dishes like dosa, idly and even south Indian thali I would suggest this is the place you are looking for..

This has south proper Tamilian dosa chutni. Loved the chutni and the filter coffee is #Ummah... Go ahead and try it. We ordered meals, Ghee Roast Dosa, Masal Dosa. Do try dosas you will LOVE it

The food good quality and taste are good. People who love or miss Proper South Indian food can visit this place. I have tried other places also but comparatively most are not proper South Indian taste they are just trying to make almost the same foods. But here it was somewhat legible southern foods and I enjoyed. The worst part is that the restaurant seems too small also with compact furnishings which can't be satisfactory if we as a group of 4 or more then you just have to sit in pair. There main aim I think for couples.
