One of the best places in Surat for gujarati delicacies ranging from excellent bataka puri in the morning, idara, khaman, patudi, pattice, bhajiya, jalebi and other related farsan. The green chutney is absolutely fantastic. The mirch although is not fully boiled and usually tastes a bit too hot. The service is prompt. The owners are quite welcoming. The staff is fast and serves you within minutes and it quite a delight to watch them making food parcels with military precision and speed. However, the place could be better with some more standing tables to eat the food, and a water dispenser at a sensibile height and not on the ground. A thing which might disgust some is the fact that the staff serving the food is also handling cash sometimes. And with all those disease carrying germs on the currencies, it really bothers some people.And some cleaning of the shop front would also be great, since its quite dirty. Eagerly waiting for this place to be listed on Swiggy. And also to enable digital payments for customers through PhonePe/ UPI, since its more hygeinic and efficient.
