Best trains pass through this station, all Rajdhanis, Shatabdi, Tejas Etc. But the facility is not at all satisfying, food court is not maintained correctly. Waiting for First Class passengers is quite small but recently renovated; still, it's not very clean and has a terrible odor. Peak hours time you will not find a place for parking or drop and go. The best thing is that it's near to the market, so time-saving traveling.

If you comes from Bombay, Kolkata, Gandhinagar etc. You don't like Surat railway station because compared to any other mega cities Surat has low grade railway station. Infrastructure is old Also Not provided much more facilities. If you specially focus on cleaness you definitely give higher ratings because workers are continuously doing their job. Hope new railway station construction starts early as soon as possible.

Population of more than 8 million, the diamond city of India, which is one of the very big financial cities between Mumbai and Ahmedabad has possibly the worst station of India. The station hardly has a capacity of 30 cars to park their cars, there are only four platforms and the AC waiting hall is so small that only 10 people can fit in. The station becomes heavily crowded during the daytime. It is high time that Udhna and Utran should also become one of the main stations of Surat city. As much as the people love Surat city, the station is as worse as possible.

This is one of the most important and major railway stations lies on the western line. This station has various facilities like food outlets, retiring rooms, toilets etc. The staff working in the retiring room is not helpful in nature. Outside the railway station, a number of food shops, restaurants, and hotels are available. Hotels are costlier as compared to other cities. There are few hotels available outside the station which offer 24 hour checkin-checkout. The railway station has good road connectivity as well. The bus station is also situated outside the station.

Good railway station with ample of food stalls. All the train halts here for usually 5-10mins. Only one major issue is there that it is not properly maintained as well as it doesn’t feels like a station of such a big city.

Experience was decent here, almost all trains have a halt here. Security staff is also active and alert. CCTVs are working well, announcements keep updating frequently. Platforms can be kept more cleaner(suggestion). Escalators are installed recently i.e on 1/10/22. Parking facility is available. Overall a good railway station

Surat is a city located on the western part of India in the state of Gujarat. It is one of the most dynamic city of India with one of the fastest growth rate due to immigration from various part of Gujarat and other states of India. Surat is one of the cleanest city of India and is also known by several other names like β€œTHE SILK CITY”, β€œTHE DIAMOND CITY”, β€œTHE GREEN CITY”, etc. It has the most vibrant present and an equally varied heritage of the past. It is the city where the British first land in India. The Dutch and the Portuguese also established there business centers in Surat, the remnants of which are still preserved in the modern day Surat. In past this was a glorious port with ships of more than 84 countries anchored in its harbour at any time. Still today, Surat continues the same tradition as people from all around the country flock in for business and jobs. Surat has practically zero percent unemployment rate and jobs are easier to get here due to very fast development of various industries in and around Surat City.

Too much crowd anytime. Ohk experience of traveling from here. Cloak room is on right side ground floor of station. 30β‚Ή per bag. Bag should have locked πŸ”. Without receipt you won't get your bags back, so keep it safe

When I reached Surat station, there were a few soldiers who were checking bags of travelers for security reasons. It's a really good thing I saw, I did not see that thing in Pune junction or Jaipur Junction.
