Really excellent and authentic Japanese dishes. We had a ribeye donburi, ebi tempura, and a salmon don. All of which were excellent. Definitely worth it!

Wow, this place is a real find & a somewhere that we will go regularly. Outstanding service, friendly & quick service even when they were busy. Then you get to the best bit, the food, you get to cook it yourself in front of your on a grill. Its presented well & makes a fun evening cooking as you go. Try it, you will love it!

Outstanding Japanese bbq restaurant. Very helpful staff. Beautifully cut high quality raw meats are bought to your table for you to cook yourself on the inbuilt grill. Lovely cocktails although they are rather small for the price. Great selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes. Will definatly return.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Our booking request to be in a corner to accommodate a party member who wears hearing aids that pick up ambient noise was honoured, which was much appreciated. Food came quickly, and cooking it yourself on the BBQ in the middle of the table is great fun. It’s a little pricey, but the ingredients and experience were worth it.

We had an incredible dining experience at Sakura Yakiniku in East Molesey! The unique BBQ table setup added an exciting and interactive element to our meal. The highlight for us was the mouthwatering beef sirloin and rib eye cubes – they were absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The ambiance was inviting and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a memorable dinner with friends or family. I can't recommend Sakura Yakiniku enough. If you're a fan of Japanese BBQ, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning for more of their delectable offerings.

Finally found an authentic Japanese yakiniku restaurant. Definitely will come visit again. The portion of beef lover set is good for two people.

My wife and I have been coming here every Sunday lunch for past 2-3 months. The food has been consistently fresh and tasty, service is friendly and professional. Their dragon roll, chicken wings, spinach salad and tempura are our favourites.

This place is such a gem! My wife took me for my birthday and we had a wonderful experience. The tempura was particularly delicious, as was the sushi. The star of the show, however, was the wagyu. Heavenly! Great service too, they bought out a giant marshmellow to roast as it was my birthday! As a lover of Japanese food I can't fault it. Will definitely be back.

Really attentive and nice servers with great food that mirrored the prices, I was worried with the more expensive food compared to some other Japanese restuarants I've been to that it would be smaller portions or not as quality but it was overall delicious and well worth the money! Would especially recommend asking the server on recommendations (ie. with the cocktails I was recommended one over the other and really enjoyed it!)

We ordered squid tempura, Nigiri sushi platter and chicken katsu curry. All were well prepared. I liked that the curry sauce was served besides the dish as this prevents the rice and chicken from getting all soggy. In general we had a nice dinner.

Nice food and staff performing nice rather than actually being nice. Bit cheeky to add service tip and then also ‘round’ up bill! Especially with electronic payment being prevalent.

Took my son here for his birthday meal with the family as he loves Wagyu Yakiniku. Great selection of BBQ meats but also an extensive sushi and other Japanese dishes. The food was delicious and actually good value for money. Will definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend. Service was also excellent and friendly

Went for a birthday dinner and the food was incredible, great appetisers and some of us went for set menus of the meat you cook yourself! The wagyu set menu was incredible. And the best miso soup we’ve ever had!! Then they got two marshmallows with a candle at the end to toast- great experience

A really lovely bbq experience with a great selection of good quality meats and fish. They all come with a side salad and miso soup. There were a few vegetables too, the corn cob was beautiful on the bbq! Comes with a grilling guide so you feel confident cooking! The grill was catching fire which made a lovely charcoal taste on the meat (whether this was an intentional feature of the bbq- enjoyable!). Can’t wait to try the wagyu selection when I go back. I thought the price was reasonable and I left feeling satisfied. The waiters were all great and decor and vibe in restaurant was cute, everyone having a good time!

My new favourite place for Japanese bbq!!! I just love the simplicity - a few high quality options and the ambience is great, very clean and spacious with good privacy, highly recommend for a date night or friendly catch up over the most amazing grill Japanese style. And the grilled marshmallow was the best way to finish !!

We had a Japanese BBQ. The menu was easy to understand, and clear for people who haven't tried it before. The service was attentive, a bit slow, but maybe because it was very busy. The atmosphere was vibrant, without being noisy. The space between the tables is very good. We tried the beef set each(about £30 pp) which includes 5 kinds of beef to be grilled at the table, rice, miso soup, and salad. I was surprised to see that the salad was just cabbage, but simplicity went well with grilled meat I suppose. Amongst the set, short rib was my favourite. Next time, I'll probably order from a la carte menu instead of a set. A great point about this restaurant is that you can eat at your own pace, in a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for family outings or dates.

Visited here in December 2021 for a Xmas dinner. What a treat this was, dining experience is excellent as not only do you have the choice of sushi and large selection of other starters (including the rare Takoyaki, which is difficult to find) but also a bbq grill where you can cook marinated meats. I would highly recommend visiting and ordering the house special sushi which has eel, absolutely mind blowing.
