Very lovely Beach. The colour of sea is mix of blue and green. White sand. Only thing is beach is not maintained. Seashore is quite full of plastic and beer bottles😐😪😪. Requested everyone to take responsibility of keeping it clean. Throw garbage in bin not on beach

Kunkeshwar beach is at a beautiful and scenic location, however, it wasn't clean and the premises was also a bit dirty. Tourist coming from outside kokan should behave responsibly and not throw the waste items in public places. Beach was not very crowded when we visited by 5pm in the evening and we had a lovely time.

It's one of the most beautiful beaches in Devgad, Maharastra. It has got it's name from the most iconic Kunkeshwar Temple situated here.

Awesome Clean and Calm Beach. The only missing part here is Water sports. You get peace of mind, good food, near by stay options, clean water and white sand beach. Bonus is the Lord Shiva Temple here. Truly must visit destination on western coast of India.

One of the most beautiful beaches we have been to. The entire region is pristine, mesmerizing, peaceful yet comes with the traditional, calm, beautiful laidback lifestyle and people. The region is called the Crown Jewel of the Konkan for a reason...and this March we experienced - why exactly is it called so, when we rode/travelled on our motorcycle with an intent to cover and explore the western sea coast of India. The sunsets are a pinkish orange daily extravaganza, and the nights are sprinkled with a clear galaxy fest of stars, a true expo for star gazers. The beach in the pic is Mithmumbari, right next to Kunkeshwar, where you will also find the famous Kunkeshwar Temple which has its mention in the Pandavkal (if you are aware), right on the beach, known for its architecture and offcourse, Mahashivratri festival. It's a stretch of amazing clean untouched beaches, one exceeding the other. The rest as the say .... Google, visit and experience it for yourself. You will not be disappointed, but only come back with some rich memories for a lifetime. Best time to visit is post September till March 1st week. Avoid monsoons, unless you want to endeavour some surreal downpour, hostile nature, violent wind speeds and a crazy sea.. which again is an experience in itself. Summers are super hot and humid - avoid. The farther we explore India, the more beautiful and enchanting it turns out to be 😊

Beach is really good. Not very crowded. But local authorities need to take care of cleanliness. No good stay and food facilities except MTDC, which is really good.

Very beautiful location of the temple... Amazing view while driving towards it. Many people come here as a tourist destination instead of pilgrim.

This beach is not worth swimming and enjoying on beach as it is rocky beach. But you must visit the Kunkeshwar temple. If you want to enjoy on beach then you must visit Tarkarli beach. Tarkarli beach is situated at 35-40 km from this beach. Tarkarli beach is among the best beach in Maharashtra and is famous for white sand and clean and safe water.

Best natural scenery with the lord temple. Very old Shankar ling found in the sea. The water never crosses its limit and comes to road even in worst situation. That is god's blessings here. Every year during mahashivratri a lot of people visit to get the blessings. The beach is very clean. They have maintained the place very clean with xerox plastic or any other garbage. Very clean and once you visit and see the beauty you will hardly unvisit it every time u visit devgad. The MTDC resort is very costly to stay although it's near the beach. The nature is awesome for years behind since we are visiting here since last 12- 14 years.

20 January 2023. Kunkeshwar Beach. We had arrived at Kunkeshwar on the evening of 19th January and left on the morning of 21st January 2023. Throughout our stay, we did not lose a single opportunity to spend as much time as possible on the beach. Clean white sand, gently sloping seabed, clear skies, water, and warm sunshine. Not much or negligible crowd. Calm and quite atmosphere what else one wants from a beach. Kunkeshwar beach gives you all this and more. During all of our stay, only a small crowd was seen on 20th. On the 20th, late morning/ early afternoon, there was a busload of school children who had come to the temple and the beach on a school excursion. There were about 40 to 50 odd children, boys, and girls playing on the beach, building sand castles, and generally enjoying, having fun, and having time of their life. Their happiness was infectious and washed of on us as well. The best part was when one of their teachers approached Priti and asked if she had any objection if some of the girls took selfies with her! A few shy girls, too shy to ask themselves for a selfie, did come and clicked some selfies After that it was free fir all and the children had good photo session with us all. It was not only refreshing but a novel experience of all of us. Had wonderful times at Kunkeshwar Beach

Nice to visit once. Best time is off rainy season - sunset. Beach is clean, but sea tends to pull the things inside, feeling like there deep sea close to the shore.

Nice beach... But better to go in the evening... No trees on the beach to sit and relax in the afternoon heat... So better to plan accordingly...

As of 12th Jan 2022 parts of the temple were blocked due to covid protocol. The kunkeshwar temple is without doubt awesome, serene and peaceful. One might thoroughly enjoy the kunkeshwar beach. Water sporting is there at this beach. If you're true deity of lord Shiva then this is must visit place for u! Nearby attractions from here include zipline.

Kunkeshwar Beach is one of the mesmerizing beach in Sindhudurg region because of its long seashore, white sand. The drive along Kunkeshwar coastal areas was a wonderful experience with Arabian sea views. The temple of the Hindu deity Shiva is situated near to beach known as Kunkeshwar temple. A walk along the beach gives beautiful experience in the morning time. A 5 km-long stretch of seashore with picturesque views and pious surroundings make for an ideal day-out in the Kunkeshwar Beach.
