They serve several food items like, 3 or 4 types of Sabji, 3 types of Sweets, Gujarati Dal & Kadhi, Rice & Khichdi and with many more side dishes in bread and Farsan, but the best part is in this big thali take as much as you want and put the rest out of the plate so that you pay the bill as much as you eat. Good place for Gujarati Thali.. their thali is too much for one person, you can remove few items before you start your meal and you won't be charged for that item. Tip:- Remove few sweet dish in start, If you feel like having it at the end of your meal you can order it again.

Worst place I have seen, there is no management properly . Here staff having no sense how to talk to the guest . Poor sevices like no intercom working in the room. When you order the some food , sometimes pick up the call otherwise no response, delay to deliver the order & given an excuses , the boy forget to deliver the order . Really it's acceptable, if you run the hotel or restaurant , given that like excuses. And most important which i faced , cut down the water supply in which room i stay . I complain against what's this nonsense . And now the guest duty to remind the staff regarding this , tank is full of water or not . No response getting from manager , no getting response from owner . Really its a worst hotel to stay . Be careful guys if you planning to come here Proof to be here

They will serve you smoking hot tortillas bhakhri & corn tortillas all with Desi ghee..😋 it's basundi & mohanthal and gulab jamun is of another level... And not only that .. it's the BEST HOTEL TO EAT PUNJABI FOOD AS WELL... IT BEATS SUNNY PAAJI DA DHABA EASILY...👌👌 THEY ARE MASTER OF SERVICES FOR MORE THAN 40 YRS NOW ...👍

Now this hotel is using only their name. They are charging Rs. 450 for fix Gujarati Thali. Rate is too much higher. You can see the items what they are serving. You will get this test in any kathiyawadi restaurant also. Curry was oily.

It was a big disappointment. I had been a fan of the original Thakar Lodge's food. I was very excited to done here after so many years, but the quality is not what it used to be before. Also for some reason, we paid 2700 for 6 people, which was not worth the service and taste.

The food was typically Gujarati food. The thali system is a bit different from what I have experienced in other places. The give you a bouquet of dishes and you can choose to either have it or not have it. Whatever you keep will be billed and you can have those items unlimited (I think so) but I hardly ate anything. I tried 2 dishes and both of them looked similar and tasted exactly the same.

My dad told me he came to Thakar lodge in 1990's it was so popular at that time so i visited in 2023 with my dad but now a days its just a waste of money.

Gujarati dish of this restaurant is famous across Gujarat.. maintained taste and quality since years.. each and every items in the dish is tasty.. specially "Poranpuri" is the USP of this restaurant.. even though the place remain crowdy always.. you will never find lacking in service.. authentic Gujarati dish.. must have when visiting Morbi.. when you are searching over Google.. there are quite few restaurants with Thaker name.. so make sure you are going at right place.. search with "Thaker Lodge".

This place is awesome for pizza. Special to pizza lover. Becose unlimited food only 289₹ per person in 2023. Also ecofriendly environment.yo go to with your family, friends & partner. Seating arrangements is good. Food quality is awesome

The Location is easily accessible. The food was average in taste. The dish was not clean properly. The quantity was also less. The cost is high.

Overall it's quite old restaurant and famous restaurant for its food, however it's concept is they give full thali and you have to give back what you don't want...However still it's quite expensive as you have to spend around 250 per person on an average in Morbi city, in which you have have unlimited option in Rajkot or any standard city, Overall it's quite busy restaurant hence you have to adjust with others on table due to space constraints. food is good but ambience and pricing need to be reviewed.

Best Place to eat Thali in Morbi. The USP of this place is no good wastage. They Seve you evrything in ur plate. Whatever things you don't eat u shud remove at the start. And than start your meal. It was nice experience. Though it was crowded place. Food was good. Average taste. Cleanliness was good. Taste was average. Service was fast and cordial. We ate Gujarati thali. Price was reasonable. Would recommend for family lunch.

My birth place is Morbi and i am talking delicious test of this lodge since opening to till date frequently, any people who is unknown with Morbi city and if visiting, he should test here if fond of delicious food.

Not that good experience, Thakar was a popular brand especially in Saurashtra,but with time they should change the menu, too oily food , they should also take care of health measure

Very good Quality of food and by eating here you feel like an old style about 1970 type lodge with Best quality food service. I just heard about the TGT start here. After a long time I get a chance to visit here. Must visit this place for Gujarati thali especially sweets.
