had lots of fun with my friends and family. this is a perfect picnic destination for family, friends and college trips because :- a) situated riverside so good source of water b) very safe area and camp organizers are very cooperative c) u can carry food or get it done there as facilities are available d) pocket friendly as well e) best to visit in rainy season if u want to see nature at its best and weather is cool, place is very calm away from pollution, or any sort of disturbance. f) nearby temple is also a must visit

The place is extravagant. The place also has a free eatery and provides free food. The cottage is also nice with an attached bathroom. You can't expect better place than this on a highway.

Only nature lover visit please, and carry your food, water and all amenities with you for good trip, fooding and water not available at campsite.

Right next to the Chotila Mata temple is this beautiful well craved huge temple of the various gods but its named as Jalaram temple. Structure is massive, and very well maintained. It has facilities such as lodging and boarding but when i visited in last week of December 2020 - they were closed due to covid, Temple structure is huge, and very well carved. From Inside of the temple also all the walls and gods praying area is well decorated and carved. I visited this place for the first time and i will surely visit it again. Very well maintained for the cleanliness. Do visit if you are passing by this highway

Generally Jalaram Temples all over the world are quite simple and unpretentious. However, this is an architectural marvel and amongst a clean and a spacious area. Situated between Ahmedabad and Rajkot at Chotila, the temple also offers free, simple Prasad during specific hours seven day’s a week. The kitchens that serve the Prasad are spotlessly clean and the dining area has tables and chairs and one does not have to sit down to take the Prasad. The temple area has a Gau Shaala and one can stay the night here for a nominal sum. It’s also a Sanatan mandir and has idols of many Gods and Goddesses. For a small amount one can get an Arti done. Donations are welcome but not mandatory.
