Purchased balloons @ 7pm last night, firstly when I walked up to the counter with the balloons one of the girls rolled her eyes to her colleague. Secondly this morning one of the balloons is completely deflated and some of the other are going flat. Seeing as I paid $128 for balloons I'd expect them to last more than one night. I have done balloons with big W in the past and they have lasted up to almost 2 months.

Has great selection and options but staff were dismissive and not very helpful. Wouldn't come here again. When I called to speak to someone before coming, I was left on hold for 15+mins every time, could never get answers to my questions so went in store and staff didn't want to help.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY. Main entry door, emergency light,has come off ceiling and no one notices?!. Live wires exposed, but that's ok say the person managing the coffee shop, because it has nothing to do with them?!.

I tried one of their Halloween masks. The design of this mask is NOT safe for anyone to use. Around the eyes it is very sharp. I used it and it scratched inside my eye and I had to go to emergency room. The dr said I had eye abrasion. And advise me not to work for a week and for 5 days I stayed in my room in dark all day and night wearing my sunglasses and couldn’t even use my phone. Very disappointed in Spotlight store, they didn’t check if the product is safe to use specialty for children. I attached the photo of the mask. I don’t know if it’s the shop or manufacturer fault. Please stop selling this mask before anyone else get injured.

Only buy on sale or you'll be ripped off. Pretty standard or cheap products, don't expect quality. Staff are a mixed bag; some are kind and helpful, others grumpy and barely want to do anything for you. Different areas are different standards of tidy.

Several times now I have ordered click and collect items only to be refunded as they don't actually have the item in stock. Also it would be nice if there were signs indicating where click and collect is picked up from so you don't wait inline at the front counter for ten minutes only to be told to go to lay-by.

I usually accompany my wife when she needs something from this Spotlight being closest to home. Great range of products and the staff are always very helpful at locating products. They will also try ringing another Spotlight to check stock for us, although 9 out of 10 times, the staff at these stores don't answer their phone. Only gripe is frequently items have missing price tags and the one price checker near the haberdashery has been out of action for more than one year.

Nice store, was clean and seemed well stocked. We needed material for a specific job but had no idea what to get, we started in the normal fabric section where the lady helped us but we didn't find what we needed, she showed us to the upholstery section where we were helped by someone different and they were great! We found exactly what we needed :)

A huge store, well laid out and helpful staff. I found everything I needed and more than expected. I went to the adjoining Frankie & co café afterwards and their pie and hot chocolate were both excellent, the pastry was nice and crunchy. The customers were hilarious! Make sure you present your Spotlight receipt for a discount on your café purchase, as I only saw the sign after purchasing at Spotlight then the café lol 🙄 at least I'll know for next time! 🧶🥧☕️

Staff was really friendly and helpful but the sale signs were extremely misleading. Got a few items from the sale sections and signs did not mention that there are exclusion of some full priced products. Only found out they're not part of the sale after checkout. Sale sign only indicated not in conjunction with other sales but failed to mention that some full priced items are not included. Such a scam... If they indicate there's a sale, always make sure to check the prices with the counter..because some of the price checkers were removed from the stations as well...

Good place, but not all staff willing to help. They keep sending you to the next staff, although all were nice.

Big store with a great range of linen, crafts, blinds, fake plants, kitchen ware, fabrics, cushions, yarn, party goods, prints, homewares etc etc etc Unfortunately sometimes they may have catalogue sale items in stock & other times they don’t. Staff are mostly friendly & helpful. Lots of parking.

Hey Fellas! It's not as bad as it looks. I rate it mate with 5 stars for friendly service with a smile. Also the costumes are very cool too. There something for everyone so go on and get down there fellas!

Plenty of parking and location is easy to navigate. Stocks for items on sale are usually available in-store which is great. Store is generally tidy but can get a bit messy especially when shopping for Christmas items but otherwise floor layout is easy to follow and items are clustered according to use and for which area of the house the item is needed. Makes shopping a lot easier!

Staff were super friendly and helpful!! We got some dining chair covers and they look amazing!! 👌 Every single staff member was polite, helpful and courteous. Very accommodating and being my 1st time at this Spotlight, I was super impressed 👏 5 stars from me. Thanks guys, see you next time!! 🤩

This is my wife's favourite shop! I often accompany her to get beautiful things to spruce up the house. I got to choose the cushions this time & they were 40% off!

Huge store with everything you need in terms of fabrics, crafts and party gear. Actually got lost a couple times and every staff member I asked for help was kind and explained things in a simple, appropriate way. Went to a costume party recently and I'm kicking myself for not coming here for my costume!

Was looking for dual roller blinds, with a good range across standard sizes. The on-display was ok, but could have done with displaying the full range as it's difficult to feel texture when in the packaging. The Easter sale was nearing a close with excellent prices for blinds of up to 50% off.

I normally have great things to say n my reviews but this store really is a mixed bag of experiences. Some staff are lovely and beyond helpful, some need thorough complete re-training on how they speak to customers, especially disabled customers. If you want to be rude, be rude off the clock and out of uniform. Otherwise, parking is good, selection of materials is excellent and everything else is a good experience.

I’ve been to the party section twice now for balloons, and the lovely lady that has served me has been absolutely delightful. Not only is she genuinely happy and nice to deal with, she makes sure to give you the best advice and instructions when caring for balloons you’re purchasing for a party. Thanks for great customer service, attention to detail and a warm and happy demeanour!

Great prices and we got amazing deals on a queen size electric blanket and king single memory foam mattress topper. My wife also comes here to buy stuff to make necklaces but the prices for that kind of stuff are pretty exorbitant, especially compared to online shops like shein and Ali express. It's also not a great store if you have a trolley as there's very little room in the aisles

A great place for every craft under the sun. The sales assistant was outstandingly friendly and took about ten minutes to help me find a certain shade of yarn (don’t judge). When I got to the counter it was 50% off. What is not to like there.

I asked to cut two pieces of a fabric from the roll. The female worker refused to cut it saying we only cut once. Ultimately the manager talked to her and she did it after wasting lots of time! The manager is fine but that female staff is a customer repellent!

Look the store is good. My 1 star is I'm so sick and tired of the constant emails everyday of the working week. It's an absolute joke what spotlight do, and seriously you can find better deals elsewhere. If your willing to look. Plus they don't cater for single males, in the bedroom department. Out of the hundreds of quilts covers and so forth. Maybe 1 or 2 is all I've ever come across. The rest is well you know. Dissatisfied shopper.

Couldn't find what I needed. Waited in line at the service desk. I was the only person waiting, but Kate served two walk ups before me and got stuck on the phone checking a price for the second customer. Waited 5-10 minutes while being ignored before giving up. Asked a roaming staff member before leaving the store but was redirected to the same service desk. Left without getting any help or finding what I needed.

Good experience Shopping for Halloween costume for 16 yo son So much scarey merchandise. Found a weapon and face paint for under $15 combined Also found the perfect color kilt fabric. We were fortunate that as a reminant it was about 80% off. We made it work ☺️

Huge store open at convenient hours. Generally has any sewing and craft item I am after in stock. Wish they had more self serve checkouts or more staff on all counters to assist.

Spotlight is one of those enormous places full of things for creative people to play with. We love it. I love it. I usually opt for online shopping but when I'm physically in store it's hard not to buy everything in sight 🤩
