I highly recommend trying their herbed chicken toasty—it was a delightful surprise! I enjoyed it so much that I ended up sharing it with my friend and wife, and they loved it too. It's definitely a must-try. One thing that really stood out to me was their commitment to giving back. I love that 100% of their profit goes to charity. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that my dining experience is making a positive impact. During my visit to the Gold Coast, I found myself coming back to this cafe every single day. My reuben and iced tea was delivered promptly under 10 minutes and tasted extremely delicious. Would love to come back and explore the other items on the menu!

Super happy with the friendly staff, location, the mission of this cafe, their food and their drinks! They even have board games for your gaming pleasure. Staff knew everything on the menu. They also have weekly specials in case you wanted something off the menu. The Reuben sandwich was a pleasant surprise. I'd buy that and share it with my whole family. They would love it too. 🙌 Coffee and hot chocolate, again and again. Love love love that 100% of profit goes to charity. It's the icing on the cake.

I went to Grounding Cafe this week and had a great time with my friend! The coffee was really good and my avocado on toast was delicious! The place has plants and herbs around, very charming!! The staff was super friendly, I will definitely be back!

If you need a beautiful quiet place to feel at home, in the middle of all the activity in Surfers Paradise, this is the place for you! I had a coffee and toast and it was so delicious! And the attention received was the best! I will return, without a doubt!

Reuben was delicious. The cold brew was really bright and rich, and the iced tea was super refreshing.

An amazing little cafe, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the drinks were lovely for a really great price. Definitely stop by and grab a drink, they also have Uno on every table.

THE BEST!! Came on a holiday and has to be the best cafe I’ve ever come across . The customer service was incredible and the staff are super sweet and friendly. We were served by Luka , Lindsey and Gael and their vibes were unmatched. A Must visit if you’re in surfers.

Coffee is good. But a bit disappointed as my flat white has no latte art, while my friend’s got a beautiful one. Hope to have better consistency. Thanks!

A quick review as I am sitting drinking tea and enjoying the ambience. This cafe had a really positive feel to it, just popped in for a coffee and tea after a pretty average brekkie at a cafe on the beachfront. Staff were so attentive, the menu is really nice and I want to come back for a pastry!! I love the games on the tables too, lovely idea.

Scoped out the area for quality place for brunch. Grounding Cafe was the winner. I chose the toasted croissant with cheese, eggs and relish. Delicious. Free sparkling water, a great corner position with sun, outdoor seating and friendly service. Visiting a second time was just as good as the first. Like others say, there's a lovely vibe at this cafe. Its my fave on the Gold Coast.

Yes I'll add to the good reviews. Very good coffee, super friendly service, scrumptious reuben toastie and great atmosphere. Menu is not extensive because it's a cafe not a restaurant. How about games on the table and profits going to charity? Very impressive.

Great coffee and pastries, nice and relaxed vibe. The staff are very friendly, my son wasn't feeling well from a candy he ate elsewhere (suspecting it was his milk allergies despite the label showing no milk), but one of the staff was kind enough to just check on him and offer the use of their private bathroom.
