We joined the tour and it was informative and interesting. The introduction of family business is attractive and we can understand the story and it is really touching. The wine tasting session is good and we did learn a lot and thanks for the detailed and patient explanation on those information on different kind of gin, whisky and vodka. And nice sharing for the difficulty in wine making in Australia. We should be part of it to protect the local industry. Appreciate your effort.

I just love this place. Staff take the time to get to know what you enjoy drinking and are so knowledgeable on their products. The Atmosphere is cosy and homely, added bonus pet friendly. BYO cheese platters are a great idea and customers certainly know how to put together awesome platters. Live music just adds to the atmosphere. Online Bookings are highly recommended and the 2 hour time slots are ample to enjoy a cocktail or tasting.

What a wonderful place to spend a Sunday afternoon! We signed up for the ‘tour and tasting’ and had no idea what to expect. It ended up being the most inspirational and educational 60-90 minutes imaginable! We absolutely loved hearing the stories behind this wonderful boutique brand and the drinks we tasted were DELICIOUS! Such great value for $35 a head! The staff here are so passionate & knowledgeable, you’d swear they owned the business! We are now lounging on the day bed listening to sensational live music, sipping on gin cocktails and planning our next visit. This place is a credit to the Gold Coast and deserves the awards they are winning. We can’t wait to bring family and friends here!

We did the distillery tour and then booked a table for afterwards. The staff were fantastic, you can tell Zac loves working here and his knowledge about granddad Jack was very insightful. I love that it's a family run local distillery with so much passion for what they do. The barbershop coffee espresso Martini was delicious my favourite was the greenhouse gin with grapefruit tonic! We will definitely be back again soon

We attended the private cocktail making master class with a group of friends. Thank you for a wonderful evening. From start to finish, dealing with the staff was an absolute pleasure. Please pass on to the powers that be, that Cooper was an excellent host. Converting beer drinkers to cocktail fans is not an easy task, but he managed it. All in all and fun and informative evening! So happy we did this!

Had an absolutely awesome night with the crew at Grandad Jack's. I did the"Make your own Gin" night and it exceeded all expectations. This local family run business has a huge focus on community and family and you see that with the amazing service here each time. I would highly recommended a visit to this great distillery.

A great find and we had the place almost to ourselves. My sisters and I visited on holiday after seeing on Tripadvisor and really glad we did. We were lucky enough to have been hosted by Bree (hope the spelling is right) who was an absolute pleasure to talk to and deal with. We then had the pleasure of Jess (and her baby) who joined Bree chatting to us and was the creator of their new staff release S'more Please. If you are lucky enough to grab a bottle (it is a limited release) I hope you enjoy it as we did the sample. The gin tasting board (3 that day) were well matched and all tasty! I tried the 2 whisky's and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were for such a young distillery. It's a place I will certainly try and visit again and could not fault anything from the staff, product, price, ambience of the venue or facilities. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to sample the food offering, but that may well be next time!

My Mothers Day every Year is always made extra special with a gift bought for me from Granddad Jacks Miami. The Pink on Pink Gin is so beautifully packaged and tastes delicious! Arohanui KT

We had a fabulous time at Granddad Jacks. Bri was phenomenal, she answered all our questions and ensured we had a a great time. We’re from Newcastle but next time we’re on the coast we’ll be back!
