A little corner of paradise. Where to start? Magical location with views to die for. Tasteful and elegant accommodation. The food, well where to start? Simply to die for. Just brilliant. And, leaving the best to last the hosts. Thank you Craig and Paul. Warm, friendly, funny, full of knowledge. We left feeling we had made some very good “friends”. In summary a stay of quality and class. We will most definitely be back VERY soon! 10/10 just the best!

Beautiful, quiet location, and Paul and Craig are so wonderfully welcoming. The breakfast made with farm fresh produce was delicious as was the optional dinner provided by chef Paul. His steak was the best I've ever eaten! The property has a fully enclosed dog yard so your pupper friends are able to go for a big run, just be sure to request that you can bring them along when you book.

We were looking for a place to stay for a few nights while in the area to attend a funeral. We couldn't have picked a better spot. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, the rooms are lovely with luxury touches such as gorgeously soft bathrobes and quality bed linens. We booked the spa room which had a huge bathroom and the room led on to a big outdoor deck on one side, and a cosy lounge with a fireplace on the other side. But the highlight were our hosts, Paul & Craig (and their "security team"). Paul cooked us a great dinner on our first night, and yummy breakfasts each day. The warmth and welcome they showed us was so appreciated. I can't recommend this B & B highly enough.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a retreat, and I must say, it was absolutely amazing. Even though our stay was only for one night, we didn’t want to leave. The hosts of the retreat are truly incredible individuals - warm, friendly, funny, and just genuinely nice people. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Paul, one of the hosts, is a professional chef, and his culinary skills are simply outstanding. Every meal we had was a delightful experience, bursting with flavors and beautifully presented. Craig, the other host, was equally amazing. His warm personality and genuine hospitality added so much to the overall experience. He made sure that we had everything we needed and was always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our well-being and wanted us to have the best possible time during our stay. One delightful surprise about the retreat was the presence of six labradors, a cat, and chickens. If you're an animal lover like us, this is an added bonus. If you're looking for a place to relax, unwind, and be treated with genuine warmth and hospitality, we highly recommend checking out this retreat. You won't be disappointed.

This is the place where holiday dreams come true, for not just you, but your puppy too. Craig and Paul are such lovely and friendly hosts and we could not have felt more welcome or cared for during our stay. Having someone cook for me is one of my most favourite things, so to have Paul cook such delicious meals for breaky and dinner, was a real treat. But the accommodation was fabulous too. We stayed in the self contained cabin, with a spa so big we wondered if it required a lifeguard! They even generously provide bath oil and salts. The shower was beautifully hot with really great water pressure and I absolutely loved the fact they provided two bath mats and fluffy bathrobes. The good quality of the linen didn’t go unnoticed, nor did the the comfort of the huge king-sized bed. Other thoughtful considerations were also provided, like an umbrella and a railing to tie your puppy up to. Our four legged friend enjoyed his time away just as much as we did, with puppy play dates planned in the on-site dog park. He was welcome to join us at the restaurant for all our meals too. If sitting and enjoying the view isn’t your thing, Paul and Craig generously offer up recommendations on local attractions, or you can have a swim in their pool. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to visiting again. The follow up email after our stay was really thoughtful and just another example on their exceptional customer service.

Paul & Craig were the perfect hosts, very polite, capable and very accommodating to all of our needs. Hillcrest retreat is an idyllic location with spectacular views of Mt Warning and surrounding hillsides. The boys culinary skills were impressive with the highest of standards. Could not recommend this B&B enough! We had a wonderful stay here, comfortable room in a stunning part of the world. There were so many delicious options for breakfast. Paul and Craig made us feel so welcome - our only complaint was that we only booked one night there! We would love to come back!

This lovely bnb well exceeds a 5 star rating .. if you’re looking for a memorable experience, look no further! As soon as you step out of your car, Craig is there with a friendly face to welcome and show you around. The country property has a lovely peaceful ambiance, rooms are beautifully presented and the rural views while relaxing on the verandah are stunning. But we would say the hidden gem is the delicious meals prepared by Paul. The 3 course dinner was incredible. Garlic prawns that had you wanting more, melt in your mouth steak and yummy desserts. Then to top the stay off- a beautiful breakfast in the morning. And let’s not forget the friendly banter and excellent ‘pepper grinding’ skills Craig brings to the table. Top class Paul & Craig. We’ll definitely be back and bringing friends to enjoy the experience!
