amazing atmosphere. amazing food. great mixture of all foods and certainly one of the best buffets i have ever been to in my life. IF you are thinking of eating out in the gold coast do not even hesitate going anywhere eles and come here. you wont regret it

This place is out of this world amazing. So very glamorous Pizza, one of the best I've ever eaten Fantastic staff Couldn't recommend any more. It's just stunning. 5 star all the way.

Not the best photos... not the best food. One would expect far better from an establishment of such renound. Some colleagues and I decided to visit Stingray Lounge at the QT on a Tuesday, and like many establishments on the GC/around the globe, the "Lounge" offers a Tacco Tuesday. We should have known based on the minimal and awkward seating left empty around the room, that this was not going to be enjoyable. After finding a high table suitable to eat at and attempting to use a QR code to order, we soon found out this had been deactivated, and bar service was our only option (a non-issue). Our first stop was a round of drinks, quickly discovering the post mix guns weren't working, meaning all soft drinks sat warm on the bench and were cooled by ice in your glass. The watered down consistancy not overly enjoyable for the non alcohol drinkers (a small issue), and then it came to food. Dry, tepid, and underwhelming would be the polite way to describe what was served. After seeing the tacos prepared at what can only be described as the DJ booth, I'm concerned if this even meets FH&S regulations. Attempting to serve food like 300g steak, glazed salmon, and pork belly and in what can really only be considered a bar seems a bit conflicting. A small renovation to accommodate suitable seating or menu refresh is required.

Very dissapointing evening yesterday. Just wanted to share this story as I was asked to exit the venue by the bouncer just because a frustrated lady complained about me standing in the social area to close to where she and her partner were sitting (again in the social area). I got screamed at and insulted by the lady while I remained calm and just standing. I was not intoxicated, and am a very regular social dancer there. If they were disturbed by me, they could have just been asked to move to a more private zone. The bouncer did not ask my perspective and just took side without considering what actually happened. This is absolutely not acceptable. Sad to see that I am Indian and the security person took position on the white person side in seconds with no other proof of my wrong behaviour but just her words against mine. Again I was just standing.

Really cool vibe to the place! Unfortunately it was quite confusing when we got in there as to where we were expected to go and how to order, etc, but food was good! I would recommend the QT Nachos for sure 😁

Gets quite busy at night with a decent crowd. But I ordered two schooners and was given two schmiddies. Plus it was $18 for two. Plus it's the kind of place that attracts cocktail drinkers, so bar queues can be long

Very quiet and little to no atmosphere when I was there. Bar staff were reasonably friendly but the food was shocking. Ordered the Arancini and they were delivered ice cold in the middle. The pumpkin inside was still frozen and the rice hadn’t been heated. We were given drinks tokens as a refund as we were in a rush to go out. But honestly experience in general was poor.

Great tunes, lots of space to sit, relax and chat to you mates plus go for a quick boogie if you’re that way inclined. Plus there is an extensive menu of tasty Margaritas to work your way through.

Music was too loud & not really music to dance to, we didn't see anyone on the floor and, was difficult to talk to friends because of the music being to loud & because of this people from our party left & went elsewhere. Toilets nearest to the dance floor were very unsightly & smelt. We ended up going to toilets near reception. On a better note, the food was good.

As far as buffets go this runs very smooth and food is very fresh! Service was very professional and quick. The seafood and desserts were fantastic.

Great atmosphere with great drinks and knowledgeable bar staff. Don’t put too much weight on the dress code requirement though.

Vibes were good so the drinks. However, food was worst. I’ve ordered Cauliflower Baja Tacos and they were not near the mexican tacos. My advise is don’t order food, just have drinks and enjoy the atmosphere.

Of all nights to visit… I picked election night! The TVs were covered in football, like an oasis from real life. Design and ambience is what you’d expect from a swanky bar/restaurant attached to an equally swanky hotel. I ordered my pedestrian beer, served with a smile from wonderful staff… and a $32 roast. It had the potential to be amazing. The meat was slow cooked well, mash was creamy, but all luke warm compared to the mushroom on top that was hotter than the surface of the sun. Also, perplexingly, they had a medallion of pre packaged cultured butter (great choice!) but the bread option was a rubbish mass produced white roll, that didn’t seem fresh at all. The base idea for the dish; great! The execution: needs some work, particularly at the price point. Overall the experience was fine, and wasn’t bad, but I feel the space doesn’t know what is truely is in its soul. Also not a fan of the fake pot plants everywhere.

The service was very slow, we ordered nachos after the drinks and I had to remind them after good 30 minutes and they brought to it to me 2 minutes after I reminded them. There was hardly any avo in nachos, maybe a spoon of beans and little bit of cheese, basically I paid $18 for chips. They had tacos on special and they tasted very good that’s why I gave 3 stars, we ordered Margarita twice, first time it was really good and second time in a chilli mango margarita, they just gave us mango margarita with no salt on the rim as it started getting busy. Wont go next time!

Best pisco sour and superb crab and bug quesadilla. Plenty of comfortable seating, in a cool vibe bar/lounge area. Take yourselves or a guest there for a treat. Hang the expense, life is to be enjoyed and lived and this is the place to do it for a special night out. Have fun because I did.

The service and people were great, the value for money of the buffet wasn't. Better off spending similar money at Yamagen for a far better experience!!

Best salsa night of the Gold Coast every Friday. Miguel the bartender is just a legend. All staff including the security guys are amazing. Mark from security team was very kind and helpful helping us to find my wife's phone that she dropped dancing. 100% recommended place, great job QT hotel recruiting and keeping staff happy, they were like in their home.

Recently attended with my family for food and drinks Not sure of the set up we ordered and was given a table number thought initially the drinks were brought to the table Went back to the bar and could not find the lovely barmaid who served us The barman was so rude (the one that wears a hat) he blatantly said why are you asking me when we are busy and made me feel so uncomfortable

Music is nice, great place for dancing on Friday night… but drinks are expensive, quite weak and bartenders reckless. I’ve been charged different prices for the same drink, one worse than the other.

This place could actually be a vibe. Pros. The place has great deco. Especially at night, it’s really modern. They have seperate little sections if you want something separate. Great music or made it was the Dj that night. They serve food till midnight as well. Their tapas are rather affordable and yummy. Cons. The dance floor, bar and the eating spots are in the same spot so people can stare you down whilst you dance. Can be a bit uncomfortable. It’s a bit confusing- music is reallllyyyy loud. Like you can’t hear yourself think. So Im confused between classy bar and club. Not sure. However. I’m not mad at it.

I went to the Stingray Bar at the Qt hotel for a friend’s birthday and was absolutely blown away with all the lovely service I had received. The bar staff really looked after all us with a smile on their face. Special thanks to the bartender whose name was T. T provided such an amazing service and really made the moments that much more special with the excellent hospitality.
