Good food and affordable prices. They always have something new on the menu, I recommend getting the membership card for $5 and you can get 5% off anything on the menu.

Don't go anywhere else for your Shank. This Lamb Shank was cooked to perfection. Outstanding job. Come to the RSL and also support our Veterans.

SOPO in Southport is great. Affordable meals & good discounts for members especially if it’s your birthday. Average size gaming room w/ free soft drink refreshments for gaming players. Have a large bingo base around the club w/ good jackpots & the staff is always friendly & good to have a joke with. I recommend trying the lamb shanks & there salad rolls. Good place to organise if your planning a function/party! 🌟

So much to like and enjoy but sadly we had to leave early. Food service staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Drink service staff really took there time. Enjoyed chatting to each each other while large lines were created. We tried to enjoy the meal but sadly it was cut short and we had to go. Menu quite extensive and prices well. The food quality was quite nice and good flavours. So why did we leave early? The music! A band was playing which played some decent tunes but the volume was sooooooooo loud. Like excessively loud. Even the quite aged crowd were struggling with it. Having travelling 2.5 hours and staying in town for the night we arranged for a group of friends to meet for dinner and catch up chat and conversation. But we ate, couldn’t talk, cause the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. We spoke with a staff member asking if there was a quiet location and she sadly said there wasn’t and agreed the band was extremely loud and more than normal. It kinda wrecked out night and we had to leave finding somewhere quiet to speak but was getting late by this point and ears still ringing we called it quits and left. Positive side is, on-site free parking. Just good luck getting one.

First time visit and really enjoyed having a quick bite to eat. The young girl when I asked a question was unsure but showed initiative to help with a solution and a smile on her face. It was just refreshing and unexpected from other similar places I visit when asking the younger staff questions. Came for a dinner and the food looked and tasted great. I always have to try the parmigiana when I go new places and this one was on the better side. Thick chicken breast and everything just tasted fresh. My mouth waters thinking about my next visit here. Everything seemed really nicely set out. Not over crowded and clean which makes for a relaxing evening. The entertainment was playing some great tunes that had some ppl dancing the night away. Looking forward to coming back Only slight critique, theres a wall that has name of service men and woman on gold plates. It was in a dark corner. And using our phone lights it was reflecting to much and couldn’t read names. Unfortunately we were unable to find my friends grandfathers one.

Excellent food and friendly staff. Some warning that the Last Post was going to start at 5pm and we should all stop talking and stand in silence would have been helpful.

We visited during the week, but it was fairly busy. The drinks were cold and the atmosphere was good and the service was good, with minimal wait. There was a fairly good menu with a variety of meals. We did not stay on, so cannot comment on meals. The bonus was the live music, which was entertaining, but not really appreciated by the audience present.

Really nice food. But went to get the chocolate fudge Sunday with added brownie like it suggests in the menu, but they didn’t let me do it. This is fine, but take it off the menu? My sticky date pudding was cold. Also at one point got ignored at the bar.

Great meals. Saw John Waters - John Lennon Concert singer and Ol' ABC actor favourite.

I have been there for 3 concerts and they have all been great. Spacious room, excellent sound, and great height of the stage. Love seeing what shows they have on so I can go there again. Room for dancing also 🤩

Had a great night Saturday last. The beatlegs were amazing and the staff dealt with the unexpected crowd to the best of their ability. Some of the public were extremely rude but the manager took it in his stride and did the best he could. Well done Chris and your lovely staff.

We've recently moved our office to Southport so we thought we'd try Sopo for our first 'Friday lunch' venue as a team. We were not disappointed. From the ease of ordering through to the quality, and portion sizes of the food, it was a fantastic choice. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are super friendly and the food delicious. Thank you to all for a great experience. We will be back!

We had a great night out seeing The Angel's playing here last weekend, with Dave Gleeson as lead singer from The Screaming Jets.. they were awesome!! 😎 Even better knowing we could take the tram as it stops right outside too.

We took our residents from an aged care facility to SOHO for seniors day & what a sensational time we had! The service has impeccable, the entertainment outstanding and the food, amazing! I can't recommend SOHO enough!

The dining area has been renovated since our last visit 2 years ago & looks good. Decided on a Cappuccino excellent. I don't know what recipe they used for the Vanilla Slice but 3 small strips of cardboard joined with cream & no icing is not a Traditional Vanilla Slice. Yuk, I foolishly thought I would get Vanilla Custard between 3 slices of delicious pastry & topped off with Vanilla Icing, silly me 😥

Had an amazing day revisiting SOPO after more than 2 years. Wonderful live entertainment from Laura Doolan. Staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Craig...awesome chap and great at promoting the club with what is happening there. Patrons are also very friendly. It was fantastic to see everyone dancing and having a fun time. Great start to 2023.... Thank you SOPO, we won't leave it as long till we return again....

Spicy margarita and some great eats! A few items were missing from the menu whilst ordering but it wasn't a deal breaker. Would definitely come back.

Excellent place, had tickets to see an Elvis Tribute act. Got there Early & had food, well cooked steak, good price too. The Elvis act was really good, overall a great evening in a great venue 👏

Really disappointing. Ordered from specials board “salmon poke”. Salmon was baked, absolutely no dressing or sauce (staff said that’s how it comes) so dry!!! Asked for a doggy bag as couldn’t eat it (dry salmon, dry rice and salad no dressing) and apparently nope, they don’t have a take away licence to provide a doggy bag??? Umm, I think you need to educate your staff a bit better!

Wow what a fresh, positive attitude from the new staff. Food tastes great & ordering from the table/app is precise. However when the barman brought me my Margaretta in a little 7oz glass 😱 for $18, I immediately returned it to the manager. He said that the new way they make them. Lost me. Cheers Neil

My girlfriend & I had dinner last night at the RSL, in one of the super comfortable booths and had a very relaxing & enjoyable experience, as always. The meals were delicious, staff incredibly friendly & quality of the wine (Sav Blanc) perfect. I usually dine here before attending events at Gold Coast Little Theatre, which was our reason again last night & can highly recommend the RSL 10/10
