The Surf Club is just the place to hangout when you’re wanting a relaxed atmosphere with all day dining and the best views. There’s always an excellent selection of meals to choose from that’s sure to satisfy a wide range of palettes. We had the lunchtime Fish & Chips as well as the Cheeseburger specials that were below $20 each. It was delicious in its simplicity with thick juicy flame grilled burger patties. Thank God for Surf Clubs and what they offer!

We had a really nice breakfast with the view, this place is really nice to hangout with mates family or kids. Very friendly stay, the view for the beach is amazing, relaxing, you can sit inside, outside area or sit upstairs outdoor and enjoy ur meal. I highly recommend this place to hangout with some food and drinks in surfers paradise.

Nice location with beach views. Barra special was fine, spicy pasta prawns were very good along with the Aussie burger. The steak sandwich was pretty good as well. The side of prawns was very good. Calamari was ok. Service was a bit slow but friendly. Limited craft beers on tap. Nice atmosphere, parking nearby is an issue as a prime beach location.

Surf life saving club. Great location in general but close to our hotel. This is important as I was ready to eat the crutch out of a low flying duck. Breakfast was our meal of choice today. Self seating and then up to counter. Some eggs Benedict, bacon and egg roll and bacon eggs for the minor adult things. Food came in a matter of minutes and was delicious 😋. Simple but great place to eat. No ducks were harmed in the process of this review

Great food, prices, service and view - what more could you ask for? We had breakfast, there is a great range of options ranging from about $7 to $27 and kids breakfast too. Our meals were generous and tasty!!! Great coffee too. If you're in Surfers, this place is a must for a meal!

Great atmosphere with amazing views. Meals came out in good time but coffees had not yet been delivered. Meals were very tasty. Smashed Avo was good portion size however eggs your way, scrambled was a little light on. Customer service was great and with friendly smiles.

Great place and location. Got a seat on the top balcony at sunset. You couldn't ask for better. Looks over the beach. Staff were great and friendly. It could easily be my local if I lived on the Gold Coast

During our stay on the golf coast, we ate here multiple times for breakfast and dinner. The meals were impeccable and affordable, which was a bonus! Chips were delicious, steak was cooked perfect, poached eggs were runny, and meals were super generous in size! Didn’t have a single complaint. The upstairs balcony is super nice to dine on too. Would definitely come back next time we’re in QLD!

Food was really good. wanna give 5star but coffee was not that great . I strongly recommend order food here.

Nice & casual. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value meals & good range of tap beers. Is only a small venue so probably best to book a table. After 1.30pm midweek it gets quieter. More tables upstairs apparently with views over the Beach, I will have to check it out next time.

We love supporting local SLSCs, and this one is in such a great spot in SP. Lovely views of inside and outside of the club and of the beach and street. Good food, friendly service, and lively atmosphere.

Awesome beachfront restaurant. 2x levels. Street and Upper. Parking is limited in adjacent roads or park in Coles parkade. The restaurant is adjacent Paradise centre. Good night life area. Atm on the inside and Keno. There is also online betting area. This is a family restaurant.

Been visiting Australia for over a week now and today is my 3rd trip here! We love the food and concept! Also I look at the reviews and I don’t understand how a great local place on the beach has people complain about bad service? Huh 🤥 how does this happen when it is seat yourself, order at the counter and help yourself to napkins, water, etc?! I think this is one of the best places in the Gold Coast! Thx guys you made my vacation that much better! Really great food! Much appreciated.

Great food, good quality and very efficient service at 9am for breakfast and served with a smile. Portion sizes were decent (Large breakfast was very filling). Only one person could finish their meal. Would eat here again without hesitation.

Had just arrived on the GC and found this place near our apartment - young guy bar staff informative and very friendly (extra star) - pity the food ordering staff member was very rude and dismissive - almost walked out but had already had a bottle of wine on our table - food average - fish so so and Greek salad lacking dressing - very average place - many many better options nearby

One smarty girl the rest of the staff great. My fault probably. I ordered a coffee. No , only drinks go on the tab. But several of the other guests enjoyed a coffee. Then I asked where do I wait for my coffee I paid for ? It has only been 7 minutes , it is made down stairs and brought up here. Just go back into the function area and we will bring it to you. Thank you. I got a semi hot one.

Great atmosphere, amazing view as it's across from the beach. Really helpful staff, I only had a beer so can't comment on the food. But if you want a down to earth spot with locals and tourists alike then this is a great place to hang.

Decided to have Lunch here.The view is great - staff friendly and helpful - especially with the wi e choice. The special for lunch was Beeff Burger with Chips, a choice of beer, wine, or softdrink for $ 17.00. Very tasty and nice presentation. What more do you want! Good food and beautiful view! Thank you.

Could not make up mind on where to have lunch and a quiet few with my partner. Lucky for us, found this gem of a place. Friendly and an inviting atmosphere with the best service and good. Will definitely be returning when we're back for another getaway.

Popular place for a drink but definitely not for its meals. Been there 6 or 7 times and meals are getting worse. Mains came out less than 2 minutes after entree. Garlic bread was more like salt bread, couldn’t find the garlic. Mains were thrown together and were bland, salad was basic and parts of it was dried up, been sitting around all day. Sauce was extra, had better value and nicer meals elsewhere. Wont be returning

Had a lovely breakfast here. Service was quick and meals were great! We found the breakfast menu was much more diverse than most places we have been to and still a fair price. We tried both the breakfast wrap and egg & bacon roll! Both meals were scrumptious and we enjoyed the crispy mini hash browns that came with them! Would love to dine here again!

Came here multiple mornings as the food was just amazing, staff were super friendly and nice, the food every time was just perfect and really hit the spot. I would recommend getting the big breakfast with a smoothy and it’s definitely worth it.

I judge a venue on many different things, one main thing is how they handle complaints/feedback, this place fails hard on management skills and customer satisfaction. Every time we visit the Gold Coast we eat here.. whether that be breakfast, lunch or dinner. Fair priced for decent enough food, great location. Tuesday night the kids and I came here for dinner. Spent a total of $97 for myself and two children on an entree, steak, salad, kids meal, two soft drinks and a RTD. We found a total of FIVE hairs in two separate meals. After the first 3, the next 2 I kept to show staff. I wasn’t looking for anything, just to provide the feedback for kitchen staff (restaurant manager and cook myself). The bistro lady I spoke to was amazing and so apologetic, said she would grab the manager. Manager didn’t want to see me, after almost 10 minutes FINALLY he came over to see me, no apologies, didn’t want a bar of it, said would give me a HALF refund of 1 meal. Pretty poor in my opinion. I didn’t want a refund at all to be honest, more just acknowledgment that this shouldn’t have happened. One hair is one thing, 5 hairs in 2 meals!!!??!??!? Find some new management and put some hair nets on your kitchen staff. Won’t be back.

Food was average. Really bad coffee! Can’t even taste the coffee, all I could taste is milk considering we asked and paid for an extra shot! Service was OK they seems friendly that’s why it’s two stars.

Being a visitor to Aussie I am trying as many eateries as I possibly can. What can I say each on surpasses the previous. This one no exception. Service was exceptional. The food was exceptional. I got the big breakfast and to be honest it was too much. Make a point to visit this eatery. You won't be disappointed.

Great place. The food was reasonable. I had the chicken Parmigiana, and it was quite bland. It needed salt and more cheese, more sauce. The cocktail was great Went back a few days later, and I had a fabulous burger. My husband enjoyed some prawns. We sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful scenery of the Esplanade and beautiful Gold Coast beaches. My husband loves the Surf life saving club he joins the membership every time we come, and even though we don't benefit anything from the membership, he likes to donate that money back to the club.

Bar attendants are super efficient and work like a well oiled cog. All are super friendly. The bistro staff are the same. If you come here regularly you will think exactly the same. Keep up the great welcoming hospitality guys!

Been to this place many times and I really enjoy the food. However on the last visit I had the chicken schnitzel, it was disgraceful it certainly was not fresh, was as tough as old boots and not edible. I left it. However, when the waitress came to collect the plates, I told her how bad it was, to which she responded, thats not my problem tell the chef!. I was shocked as I had never ever had any problems here at all, the staff are normally amazing and helpful, but this girl no customer skills at all. Pity as I doubt I will go back.

Hi. Tonight I ordered a chicken paradise burger. Was great till I saw the caterpillar crawling out from the lettuce. Took back to the counter as still my fries to eat. They took the plate away. Said sorry and that was it. I think your real staff training needs a few more sessions.

I would not recommend this place. Service is very poor, we had an order come out wrong and instead of fixing it they gave us a spoon to remove the food item we asked to be left out. Food orders also came out a different times, one of us waited 30 minutes after everyone else has eaten just to get their breakfast. We also had to get up and get our own cutlery and cups, waiters could have been a bit more attentive. Food is average, good for the price you pay though.
