After researching around, we finally decided the Gourmet of China as our last dinner in GC and it didn’t disappoint us. We ordered the Original fish hotpot with 2 side dishes, it is very yum. We finished all fish fillets as well as half of the soup base. For 2 person, you can’t order too many dishes as the amount is very decent but you can ask one spicy dipping sauce to unlock a different taste of it (as the spicy flavour seems also nice). Thumbs up for both food and the excellent hospitality we have received.

Nothing special about this place in my opinion. It's very popular and busy but I don't get the hype? We came and ate here as we visited Gold Coast from Melbourne. The food was underwhelming, the lady that took our order seemed to be underwhelmed that we didn't order as much and kept asking if we were sure... Portions are pretty small for the price. Atmosphere was great though, in a good location with lots of free parking.

Wonton soup was way too salty and oily. plum duck was the most yakky dish we have never ever see before: 2/3 of duck was skins dumped in a pool of weet and sour sauce. The only eatable dish was stir fried vegetables Shanghai Style. The lady at service was the only presentable value of this place. Price of these 3 dish lunch + a coke was 60.30AUD. Was not a good choice coming here.

Terrific restaurant! Staff are really friendly and efficient. They were fully booked last night - turning people away, and all meals came quickly. Outstanding flavors - couldn’t recommend enough.

Very good and simply delicious. We had the fish hot pot with hand made noodles, dates and citrus, and the chili stir fry king prawns. Both dishes were amongst the best Chinese we’ve ever had.

The hot pot was so amazing. The lamb soup is so rich flavor. Definitely go again.

Enjoyed the food immensely. We had the salt & pepper calamari and the Schezwan Beef. Both 10/10 Would highly recommend …. Staff were lovely 😊

A great little restaurant on Tedder Ave, with a diverse selection of authentic and delicious dishes. The restaurant allows for a BYO wine only, and can provide ice buckets for patrons, whilst also offering a unique selection of Beers and other non-alcoholic beverages. With a very friendly and welcoming staff, this place is a go-to for families, partners, or friends.

The restaurant sits on an eatery street, very nice atmosphere. The food was nice and authentic. It would've been better if their staff was more trained to handle the busy work. But overall pretty good experience.

One of the best meals that we have had. Do what you can to get here for the Duck San Choi Bow.

The Mongolian Beef, special fried rice, Szechuan Chicken, and Vegetable Spring Rolls were amazing. I've never had chicken so tender. There is no toilet and it can take a while for food to be ready (~50 mins) so pace your bladder! Looking forward to eating here again when I'm next in GC.

Amazing food. Actually the best Chinese we have ever eaten. Fresh and very generous servings. We will definitely be back.

Dined a family group of 9, 6 ad 3 ch. Not 1 dish disappointed. Sang Choi Bau was excellent, best ever had, honey chicken fantastic, szechuan beef great, liked smaller cuts of beef, absolutely recommend this venue.
