Movie
World
is
a
well
established
world-class
facility,
but
you
have
to
know
what
interests
you
before
booking
to
see
if
it's
for
you
and
your
family.
I
booked
a
1
day
pass
for
adult,
child
and
a
photo
package
directly
through
their
mobile
app
for
A$250,
and
arrived
there
around
1015am
just
after
the
rides
opened
for
the
day
at
10:00am.
We
had
a
focus
on
roller
coaster
rides.
Easy
to
find,
easy
parking,
and
with
prepaid
entry
no
queue
to
wait
to
get
in.
However,
at
12:00
p.m.,
we
still
hadn't
managed
to
actually
get
on
a
ride.
Our
first
queue
was
DC
Rivals,
where
we
waited
for
over
1
hour,
inching
our
way
to
the
front,
only
to
be
told
the
ride
had
a
defect
and
was
closed
for
an
unknown
length
of
time.
After
waiting
for
another
15
mins,
hopeful
for
a
fix,
we
abandoned
the
queue
and
went
to
the
Superman
Escape
where
it
took
1
hour
20
mins
to
get
on
the
ride.
We
used
the
village
roadshow
mobile
app
to
reserve
a
slot
for
a
second
ride
on
Superman
Escape
which
took
2
hours
to
wait
for
the
slot,
and
then
in
an
effort
to
get
on
DC
Rivals
we
paid
$60
for
an
instant
ride
as
couldn't
stomach
waiting
another
1.5
hours
(queue
by
mid
afternoon
was
enormously
long).
We
went
on
the
log
ride
during
the
3:30pm
street
carnival
to
avoid
the
queues,
saw
the
4d
Scooby-Doo
movie
at
4:00pm
and
managed
to
get
a
ride
on
the
Batwing
Spaceshot
(15
min
wait)
and
the
Justice
League
3d
(15
min
wait)
before
leaving
the
park
before
5:00pm
closing.
Outdoor
rides
close
whenever
there
is
lightning
in
the
area,
which
happened
several
times
whilst
we
were
there
for
the
day,
and
there
were
several
rides
closed
for
maintenance.
All
in
all,
2
decent
roller
coaster
rides,
3
average
rides
(log
ride,
batwing
and
justice
league),
and
a
couple
of
average
shows
for
the
day
at
a
cost
of
A$310
+
food/drink
for
1
adult
and
1
child.
