Visit 12.1.22. It’s difficult to run a big venture like this but they have done a good job to fit in enough shade, seats, family and adult areas to work. The wave pool is licences and has cabanas and plenty of shaded seating. Cocktail or beer 🍺 no problem. The regular food options like pizza, hotdogs, burgers and tacos. A few fresh options like fruit and sandwiches would have been good. The rides take a while in queues but to be expected so be patient and it goes fast. Good to teens and little kids.

Wet N Wild Water Theme Park at the Gold Coast😃 We had a fun family day out at Wet n Wild on our recent Gold Coast holiday. We have been to Wet n Wild water theme park numerous times & always have a fun family day out here. There are many different water rides for all ages & water areas for kids & families. A must visit when at the Gold Coast.

Paying to stand in queues all day. There's no open pool area where you can just swim. You have to literally stand in a queue all day or leave the park. Those are you options. Some queues are up to 3 hours for a 30 second ride. Parks shouldn't let so many people in if it's going to ruin the experience for everyone

Was a great day out with the family Pretty sure they have a sewage leak in the lineup waiting area at the river rapids slides. . Brown sludge dripping from overhead pipes and the smell was disgusting so we skipped that ride. Aside from this if you take your own food in its a pretty achievable day financially for those on a budget. Try both sides of the entry if arriving early the line up one side was enormous. The release of riders going down slides was sometimes very painfully slow The eating areas were clean however more shade areas could be helpful for families struggling to find shade Lockers were $12

We visited a day before school holidays started and it was absolutely the best day ever. Didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for a water slide. The kids splash park was empty and the little one had a ball. The team working on the day were amazing

Wet n Wild Wow! The kids had a great time! They have A wave pool. A junior section for babies/toddlers through to kids. Kids racer slides & slide tubing. Saturday is the busiest that's for sure! It has everything here. My favourite Water Park on the Gold Coast hands down :)

Our day at Wet n Wild Gold Coast was quite frankly disappointing. Majority of the rides were closed or running at half capacity resulting in extra long queues. Given we were expected to social distance I think the park management could be doing a great deal more to provide patrons with the ability to queue safely and to do what they can to reduce queue times. It felt like they were going out of their way to keep us in close proximity for as long as possible. The rides were also unimpressive and were not worth the 1 to 2 hour wait. The toilets were foul and stank. I'm not sure if they had even been cleaned during the day. The food is over priced, poor quality and limited variety. I've been to better water parks who have handled crowd management in the pandemic in a much better way. Come on Wet n Wild, you need to up your game.

Crazy day in one of best aqua parks that I've had been in my life! Absolutely loved 💯. The time just flew with so many activities you do. It has everything for everyone! Highly recommend it for you, your family and friends.

They should only sell certain amount tickets per day so that people don’t have to wait 90 mins for a 30 seconds ride. Not easy to buy food so please bring food and drinks. My suggestion is line up at the entrance one hour before they open, so you can be the first group in the park, go to the rides straight away, if you’re lucky enough you could play 2-3 rides in the first hour. Get ready for the looooong line and have fun!

We went during the first school holidays after Covid-19 restrictions were eased. It was busy and the staff was overwhelmed. But we had a wonderful time except for the long line.

A lot of variety although not all attractions were operating which put pressure on other rides I assume. The longest wait was at the Kaboom, almost 90 mins and the queue wasn't that long so sure what was going on there. There are healthier food options available and bar service at the wave pool. Overall, a lot fun for the kids. The newer section is well laid out maintained.

A great half day for families with children of all ages. Plenty of slides and areas for smaller children, lazy rivers, or a bunch of steep and interesting slides. Queues were expected and it was particularly busy during the Christmas break. A few food options in the park, along side changing room facilities, showers and lockers. Great for half or a full day, depending on tickets purchased.

Had a great time. The park was maintained really well and staff were extremely friendly. Went on a public holiday and it was crazy busy. Lines were really long but definitely worth it if you have never been.

We came here on June 14, 2023 and to my surprise a lot of the rides were closed including a junior area which was not shown when booking online. We still had fun but probably wouldn't go if we knew the junior pools were closed. My 5 year old son found a lot of rides scary that were marked for over 110cm height and would need one parent to catch your child at the bottom of the slide. There were a couple of double person rides but those were just a few. Not a lot of healthy food options, just burger and fries and with only one fast food place opened for the entire park. The jacuzzi area were just warm and definitely not like a hot jacuzzi. Might be because of the off season but wont go again off season.

I love rides and all it yearly pass cost $219 but by my perspective it totally worth it , rides are very dangerous but full of security and services so it always provides me goosebumps especially superman ride and batman. The waiting time is pretty much long but it is normal and totally worth. LOVE IT ❤️ 😍

We went on a very quiet day, Monday on school holidays, no wait at the rides or at the gates. Very nice water park with a good range of rides from beyond thrilling to gentle ones. A dedicated area for younger ones, loads of tables, a pool wave and jacuzzi. In my opinion, there isn't a great choice of food. We ended up having a snack elsewhere. Check the opening hours! They are unusual. We bought the tickets online as they were cheaper for 4 parks than for one.

Super fun water park for kids of all ages! We had a wonderful day out and it was not too busy so the lines for most rides were not too long (although I can imagine things getting crazy during the peak season). Some of the rides are aging a bit but they are well maintained. The food at the park was also decent (albeit a bit dear, for eg. $10 for personal pizza) and they do allow you to carry your own food into the place so pack a picnic lunch if you like. Enjoy !

The fact they don't seem to limit the amount of people that comes in the park makes enjoying it quite unpractical. 1.5 hour lines to enjoy a single attraction while some of them closed at 5pm when they said the park is open until 8pm (not saying a thing about the most exciting ones closing early). I would not recommend this park in any time besides winter or a rainy day when it's empty enough to be enjoyable. Very disappointing

Alright, so this place is definitely looking (and smelling!) A bit worse for wear. There are speakers hanging by wire, wooden railings etc starting to rot. There are multiple areas which smell strongly of urine (and no, I'm not talking about the toilets). The queue lines are largely not under cover, so you will be stood in the blazing sun wearing only your swimmers - wear good quality water resistant sunscreen! There were a huge number of people in the park the day we visited, it was very crowded and impossible to maintain social distancing from other groups (there simply wasn't enough space). This also meant that the queue lines were MASSIVE (over an hour per ride) even for the lazy river style ride. This was worse than Movie World! I think the park would be more enjoyable if they were a bit more careful with the numbers they allow in, but of course they would make less money so that will never happen.

My girlfriend and I had bought a combo-ticket to Movie World and visited the water park after. Very easy to walk between the two parks. The Aqua Loop was very funny and we both tried it several times, but there were relaxing slides as well. We had a lot of fun.

Sad to see the introduction of scales for every ride almost. Very confronting and nerve racking watching for a big red or green light, especially with The combined weight limits being relatively small (180kg) when considering two fully grown adult males. Means a lot of our friends couldn’t ride together which was upsetting and ruined the whole experience. We have always loved wet ‘n’ wild and they have never had these weight limits before so it makes me wonder what has happened to make them change policy. So sad as it has changed how we feel about the park in general. We come for fun not to be judged on weight and size to go on every ride.

The value for money depends on how busy it is - any holidays and the lines for the rides are so long it's not worth it. But when it's not busy it can be fun. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. Buy tickets online first as they're cheaper. Try and pick days that aren't too busy (like everyone else is trying to do!).

Definitely purchase the Fast Track passes for the kids which gives unlimited turns on the 7 best rides here. A few are not included but at the end of the day towards 5pm the lines are much smaller and easier to handle wait wise. Everyone seems to make a B line for the lounges and beach chairs at the wave pool but there are heaps of better spots under sandy and shady places around the lazy river. If I’m super critical…the lazy river was chocka block with leaf debris which is understandable as there are lots of large beautiful trees lining the water. With so many staff acting as life guards standing on the side, with their elevated position would be perfect for holding a leaf scooper to remove most of the litter in the water. There was a LOT 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Really fun rides, there’s something to suit everyone including spa pools to relax in. Queues weren’t longer than 30 minutes and all had shade. Unfortunately a few rides were closed including the Aqua loop and black hole. Staff said Aqua loop has been closed a while and they don’t know when it will open.

Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast is so much fun for the whole family if you love getting wet. Bring your thongs, swimmers hat and sunscreen and you're set you're set for the day. You can even bring your own food and drinks. For a couple of weeks in Summer they are open until 8pm and show a movie each night, which you can watch while cooling off in the wave pool.

  • 1/5 rafael f. 3 years ago on Google
So many people allowed to get in the park at a time so obviously so many people unhappy and disappointed. It’s insane you have to wait over 1 hour for each attraction. They say on google they close at 8pm but the best attractions close at 5pm with no explanations at all (actually Covid is the reason, but why?? No sense). Stop letting money talks and take care of the customer a bit more. Better fewer people happy than lots unhappy.

  • 4/5 Kasey M. 3 years ago on Google
Fun for everyone. Reasonably priced in comparison to the other theme parks in the Gold Coast. I generally go during mild wet weather as the lines for rides are shorter haha.

What an amazing place. We spent most of our time in the kids area and everything was great except finding a spot to sit in the shade in summer was very challenging. Especially so with an 8 month old. More seating would be great but got no idea how they would do it. Ha

What a s%$t fight!!! It took me almoat a week to recover from the experience! They seem to cram as many people in as the can. There is absolutely no covid control except for qr code on entry and when u get an alcoholic beverage- which after a 2 hr wait in line for a waterside any normal adult will need!! I honestly don't know how they get away with the amount of people being in the one place. We were there for 5hrs and got on 2 slides. Pretty disappointed!

Not to happy as we arrived at 2.30 and then it was shut for the storm for an hour or so. Then only got an hour and everything closed for kids. So for the price we paid we didn't get a great experience.

No one social distanced at Wet n Wild and staff didn’t make the effort to pick people up on it. Grossly packed and rides were an 1 hour (or more...) wait for 10 seconds of fun. Not worth the money and SeaWorld/MovieWorld were much better. I had better memories as a kid but nothing has changed since then and the park is seriously dated.

Rides are awesome, but walking around is a bit of a trouble. Thongs and slides were stolen while in the tornado, and carrying the floaties are really exhausting and hard; especially on hot ground. It would be nice to have a little cover over heads while lining up, just so we don’t burn our feet but overall it’s okay.

We accidentally booked a calypso cabana a day ahead and we got straight on to customer service who offered no exchange, refund or credit. A simple mistake and they take your money with complete arrogance. On a side note, the calypso cabanas look terrible and I would have felt ripped off paying $100 for it anyway. Big business greed.

A very fun park with lots for everyone to do. Only having been on days it it relatively quiet, lines were only a few minutes at best, so we got to try every ride. There are areas for little kids that are very well supervised - Gave our three yr old the freedom to do his own thing and be in view the whole time. Calypso Bay was good, and well supervised - It needed to be, as there were a few larkin's trying to race and were a but rough - We took our twin girls aged 1.5yrs on the tubes and they loved it! It was also suitable for those with disabilities which was fantastic to see. We saw one father and blind son riding calypso bay and they were having a blast. The wave pool is VERY well supervised and can be deceptively powerful. They did a great job keeping everyone safe. Food at this theme park wasn't as good as the others. $20 for a sliver of chicken, a single lettuce leaf, some mayo and very small handful of chips... ice cream STARTS at $6.50 up to $10 ... not too impressed. It's not a cold rock cafe after all... Overall very impressed by the level of safety and the rides were well designed. Bit much to ask I know, but a larger kids area or another one would be great! But very happy we got the "3 park deal" and we'll be back for sure.

Took our grandchildren to wet n wild today. Expecting to stay half the day. Started off in the wave pool for half hour then mammoth falls. Then granddaughter started screaming her eyes were burning. Then not long after grandson also screaming his eyes were burning. Our other granddaughter was not as bad, but she still was complaining they hurt. They we in a lot of pain and were crying and so we left immediately. It took hours for the burning to settle and I was flushing their eyes with saline. Their eyes were extremely inflamed and red. I wonder if anyone else has had this happen there? Besides that, it would have been a nice day. Perhaps wrong levels in the water or too much chlorine?

  • 4/5 Michael C. 3 years ago on Google
An interesting and entertaining day. Not much has changed since my last visit in 2002. However, the rides are still exhilarating, although a couple were not operating. Which is regretful as it is the entry fee that is paid to entice patrons. All in all a great day was had, albeit the waiting times in the queues....get over it, as it all part of the experience. The staff were extremely helpful and watchful.

Suggestions of having someone at the bottom of the rides to determine height or weight so people don't wait an hour in line just to be told no they can't get on the ride, more seating or shade areas and maybe a bit more communication from staff would be great but other than that a hecka of a day all round, thankyou!!

My daughter wanted to give this place 10 stars! The water slides were heaps of fun, as was the lazy river where they were pumping out 80s tunes. The food, however, is horrible! I ate probably the worst cheeseburger I've ever had in my life; the patty was dry and tasteless, the fries were oily and cold. Disgusting.

  • 2/5 Thomas G. 3 years ago on Google
Long waiting times in the queues, the waiting times shown in the app were often wrong. Nobody cared for social distancing at all (a pity, because in the sister park Movie World this works fine for some attractions - when employees take care of it and reminding people to stand on the dots on the floor, which works really well!) The landscaping of this water park is not nice, no nice areas to relax in between, the wave pool which is probably supposed to be such an area has no atmosphere at all. I understand that water parks are mainly for water slide fun, but in theme parks they also manage much better to also create nicely themed areas where people can sit, drink, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, maybe we were not the target group of this park, but it would be much nicer when it would get a makeover, because the actual water slides are exciting and nice.

Great place for kids and adults so much fun to be had. Ride wait time can be upto an hour when it's busy and waiting in the hot sun or when it's windy is unpleasant. Great fun, great rides, just the long waits that get frustrating but thats normal for such a popular place

We had such a great day at Wet n Wild. I suggest you get there early - we landed at noon and it shuts at 5 - I wish we had all day! My kids are 10, 11 and 18. We found something for everyone. We grabbed a locker which made things much easier and $10 seemed like an ok price. I was a bit concerned about food - places like this with a monopoly on the food tends to be expensive and low quality - but I was pleasantly surprised. The burger place had a generous salad with a tasty dressing. And the chicken tenderloins were so flavoursome and juicy. A couple of the staff had some less than friendly attitudes but overall we had such a great day it feels hard to give any less than 5 stars - we will definitely be back - wish we lived up here and we would get a season pass

Had a great day, the slides where awesome the lines for them took about half hour which was ok but the food was Terrible that's why I didn't give 5 stars

Great fun, plenty of rides and activities for the hot weather, but they aren't gluten free friendly, unless you love salad or chips. Took an hr to find food, ended up getting a chicken salad, but had to replace the chicken with chips, as the chicken was not gluten free. This was a bit disappointing as you normally just want to enjoy the day, which includes some delicious Cafe or restaurant food.

Great day, all attendants were attentive and polite to my toddlers. We had a great time. Plenty of parking and undercover sitting areas.

A lifeguard at calypso beach told me to get out because I wasn't in a tube but I obviously couldn't fit in one so was told to leave had to drag my daughter against the current to get out with her screaming the place down and then she took off. My husband and I were out of the tubes and passed 5+ lifeguards on the first lap and then my husband left after the first lap and then the lifeguard told me get out. Signs say prefer to be in the water for over 6yo no signs saying you have to be in a tube!!! We only popped in for less than 2hours and that's all it took to ruin my day.

Very disappointing experience. Waited at the Kamikaze as it was due to open. A staff member advised us a lifeguard was on the way so we said we'd wait. We waited in the sun for 20 minutes only to go and do another ride and return an hour later to find it still wasn't open. Lots of rides were closed in the kids area even though we'd been advised they'd be open at 10-45. We paid full price for entry and multiple rides and slides weren't available. We didn't get a full priced experience.

Had a great time, very family friendly. Wave pool was the best. Worth coming here. Little bit of wait times and some weight requirements. Do some research before coming. Check out the website to make sure rides are available. There was a movie night whilst we were there. Only we couldn’t really hear the movie in the pool. Could be improved. Our time was great and we really found the whole day to be fun. So pleased we came here. Memories forever.

First time here. Kids had a blast. Great water day out for all ages. Junior area is excellent for young kids and a great introduction to the slides. Long queues for some rides as it was school holidays. Some an hr long. Too long for a "fun" park! It got quieter at the end of the day. Rides stayed open till 5pm and everyone in queue (by closing) still got their rides. Staff were all friendly and safety conscious. Food was well priced - grab the family deal! Many attractions and variety. Easy access to venue and good parking. A must do in summer!

One of the best theme parks who takes safety seriously. We enjoyed our time. The queues are long during school holidays and it takes more than one day to try out all the rides. Best to take a 7 day pass and have a relaxed day. The virtual Q's get booked out in first hour and its good to reach the park as early as 9:30 am. The traffic gets ugly if you are coming from Brisbane hence adviceable to leave as early as 7:45 am. There aren't a lot of food stalls as compared to Warner Brothers or Sea World hence adviceable to have early brunch or late afternoon one. As the queues get long.

I went to 3 parks in a week while in a wheelchair and found this one the hardest to get around in.The paving and the sloping of some of the paths made it difficult. Some of the viewing area's didn't have ramp access. Also the chair's could do with a cup or drink holder added . It was fun watching the family tho still had a great day

Great fun, especially in the warmer months when more is open inside the park (such as Calypso Beach). Highlights are definitely Whirlpool Springs, Calypso Beach, Aqua Racer and The Wave Pool. The Pizza bar is delicious and caters to vegetarians also.

Really awesome place to come with the family. Had such a great time, but also kind of disappointed because you have to wait in line for 30-40 mins or more for a few seconds of fun. I really enjoyed the gaint wave pool and the tornado. All in all it was a good day and I had fun.

An amazing day! We love every games. So fun if you go with friends/family big group with people! Game normally are for 2/3/4 people. If you stay until the end around 4, 4:30 all the games are empty so you can run and go again! Such a great day! I really recommend go and enjoy a lovely day!

Loved every second! Most of the staff were happy to be there and chatty, a few looked a little miserable and didn’t interact much. Would recommend bringing your own food and drinks, plenty of spots to have a nice picnic. Lockers were convenient and worth the $12 all day with unlimited reentry. Would also recommend bringing thongs to walk between rides (I forgot and my feet are quite sore from the uneven rocky concrete).

Great water park! Got the combined ticket for Wet N' Wild, W.B Movie World, Sea World, and Hopo boat. Was absolutely worth it. The park wasn't busy at all, so the lines were fast, almost as the slides. Nice cocktails at the bar, chicken salad was yummy! Loved the relaxing grass around the waves pool.

We played most of the attractions and they were so fun. Sadly, some of them were closed when we there but still had so much fun.

This got to be the best experience in Gold Coast. We just loved it. All the rides and the environment, everythings was awesome. You must visit here if you are going to Gold Coast. And do visit there in the opening hours so that you don’t have to wait a long time. And we did buy 7 days pass from village roadshow which was awesome. If you guys are going for a week you must get one. There are other option as well. But do get them online.

Probably the most enjoyable park we'd been to over the week, a few rides were closed, but the lines were flowing reasonably fast. They have certainly made this place safe with all the gates and triple checking of rides before sending the next group of people down a slide. The rides used to be so fast when you could have 2-3 people going down 1 slide at 20-second intervals. They were the days. Plenty of shade and places to relax. My son was flipping out because of the hot concrete, and it ruined his day, him having autism once he lost 6 could t get him back.

Attended today and was very underwhelmed by the attractions and wait times. Given it was a Monday and school was in I thought we might miss the queues. Many rides were under maintenance. I mentioned this to customer service to which the lady mentioned it had been on the website for 6 months. That’s great for locals who attend, but for those who booked before 6 months for a trip specifically to do the theme parks it’s not a great attitude to have. One of the River Rapids slides was not under maintenance, just not running for some reason. We counted the wait times between each person going and it varied from 30-120 seconds which is a very long time to wait in a queue with kids. We left at around 2pm because we were so unimpressed. Waterbom Park in Bali is so much better. Other gripes would be no Aqua cash bands anymore so to buy things you need to card a card/phone. Also on the website it said you could hire towels but on arrival they had scrapped that service. Only good thing I can say was thank god there was a licensed area, margarita was not too shabby. We won’t be back and we won’t be recommending this park to family and friends.

Alot of the rides were under maintenance however, it was still a great experience! Wave pool was pretty decent, lazy river was relaxing, kids zone is amazing and very interactive, Good day out

Great venue, if you don't sleep well after a day here then you're not doing it right. Luckily we had a cabana as the weather was wet, but we had fun undeterred

So much fun, the paths get really hot so wear your shoes to walk to the slides & leave them while you go on the ride is the best advice! My favourite was the Kaboom!
