Great short hike with the family. I love this place. good place to keep fit. Various walking tracks all sealed. Not pram or wheelchair friendly except for the ocean track.

Month of visit: December 2023 My friends and I had an amazing time here! What we loved most is that it is easy to access by public transportation, paved walkways, and trail signs everywhere, which helps our navigation. The place itself offers a great view as it shows us where the rainforest meets the ocean! The track is also easy to follow and easy for beginner. There are also some swimming opportunities as well, very beautiful!

Fabulous bush walk in the middle of the Gold Coast beaches. You wouldnโ€™t know you were on the glamorous Goldie, feels like youโ€™ve walked into remote bush. We now know why the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games had a koala mascotโ€ฆ some other walkers showed us a video of a koala they saw on the track. We didnโ€™t see the koala but what a magical walk with fabulous views!

Fantastic scenic walk around Burleigh point to Tallibudgera. Over bridge then out to spit on rock wall. Return for swim in clear cool water

My very favorite spot in Goldcoast for a good walk, beautiful photos spots and busy beach time. Ideal picnic location too.

Probably the best thing to do in the gold coast! A must do for all visitors and locals. It's about a 40 minute walk with gorgeous views especially at the top where you can get an amazing view of gold coast beach. You can also swim at the bottom. Gets hard to find parking so try and go during off peak hours.

The best view of the Gold Coast! An iconic spot. Go for sunrise and if youโ€™re lucky, youโ€™ll spot some whales migrating.

Easy and rather picturesque walk. Well paved. Suitable for all ages. The loop will take you 40min to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Plenty of swimming opportunities as well. Lots of bush turkeys and lizards around. The path is mostly shaded, so easy to in hot sunny weather. Definitely recommend.

Burleigh Head National Park, a favorite spot for surfers, campaigner and nature lovers, boasts a captivating mix of coastal allure and diverse wildlife. The trails, especially the Ocean View Track, provide mesmerizing vistas of the Pacific Ocean, while the rainforest teems with indigenous animals like lorikeets and koalas. I went there last Saturday, and it was bustling with visitors. Moreover, walking to Jebbribillum and Tumgun Lookout exposed me to numerous mosquitoes, which made me a bit uneasy. I recommend having bug spray, sunscreen, and water ready before you go for a comfortable experience. Lastly, have a great trip!

Great walking trails, with very scenic views, and heaps of wildlife along the way that are so used to people that often they do not scurry off, they just sit there watching you walk past, it's all very special!

Great views with a short hike to the top. The park has three entrances so make sure you know where you parked your car. Home to Wild turkeys and Geckos

Beautiful views from the lookout. Get there early to find free parking, otherwise you will have to pay timed parking in the shopping area further down the road.

One of the best short walks on the Gold Coast. Unfortunately, because of bad weather, the ocean side portion of the walk is sometime closed for safety reasons.

A beautiful walk in the heart of spectacular Burleigh Heads. Escape the daily grind, or walk off that breakfast or lunch and take a moment in nature with spectacular views both north and south from the tranquil forest of Jellurgal. Learn about the history and significance of the area to the first peoples (Yugambeh) community through well crafted interpretive signage. For the more adventurous, cool off in Tallebudgera Creek or Burleigh Beach. Similarly, explore the creekside rocks and associated marine life around the headland. Highly recommend AAA+++

Easy to moderate hike with a stunning view. It took maximum an hour to walk to the lookout. There is a bench located near the lookout to rest and chat.

Date of visit: Sat 13 May 2023 Time : 8.45 am Time flies and things have changed. Off-road parking is no longer free and couldnโ€™t find one free lot in the free car park, as it looks a popular place for many locals and surfers and itโ€™s crowded. Paid parking is done by keying your car registration number, specifying the no of hours and paying it by credit card. Long ago I did the coastal walk 1 with my wife so this day I tried the rainforest circuit 3. The debut from Burleigh Heads was a bit steep with some steps but after itโ€™s quite easy walking on well paved bitumen track and rolling terrain. 2 lookouts to enjoy the view. I ended at the Southern entrance (road bridge side) and doubled back. There is another free car park at the southern entrance off the Gold Coast highway. Easy walk, takes about 1 and half hours to complete the loop and enjoy the walk.

Love this place anytime of the day and year. Enjoy walking through the bushland and looking over the beautiful sea views. There are plenty of space for a picnic or just relax and chill listening to the lapping of the waves. It is one of the great spot to watch the sun going down and to take some photos.

Best spot on the area for family picnic, waking track to the lookout point (45min to an hour on the hill) gives you best views. Shaded areas with trees. Can see gold coast skyline in the distance. Evening and night time view is good too.

What a beautiful rain forest - eucalypt forest with mangroves and plenty of wildlife and nature to see - I always love the walk - run / climb - so great for fitness - I travel over an hours drive just because this is such a beautiful spot! There is plenty of space to swim and frolic, play and sunbathe on the beach at the bottom, lots of shade, great for families - there is an easy walk to the top for young and old, disabled or just plain โ€œI donโ€™t wannaโ€ people ๐Ÿ˜† and then there is the harder trail - however for regular walkers / runners you can do it with a nice sweat - the views from the top are absolutely amazing. On way back down the steps are a bit of a killer lol but great workout and beautiful views - at the right time of year you can see whales too - Gods creation on full display for all here ๐Ÿ’œ

I recommend doing the coastal walk then the lookout , such a beautiful walk. I arrived at 730am on a Saturday morning thinking it was early but it was very busy along the beach front and it was a little hard to find a park.

A short but spectacular rainforest and coastal walk. There are a few short routes to choose from, some lead up to the top of the hill for a better vantage point. Due to the unstable rock face parts of these walks can be closed in king tides, heavy rain or poor weather. (Most commonly the coastal route).

Rainforest meets ocean! Brilliant ocean and rainforest circuit walk through the magnificent Burleigh Heads National park! Spectacular votes of Burleigh Heads to Snapper Rocks and beyond! Tip: head out early as it gets busy and the track is narrow! Super amazing viewing options along the track. Bird lovers are in for a treat.. your senses will be drenched with sound sight and smell of the ocean and rainforest air! Donโ€™t forget your water and phone for awesome photo opportunities!

A sanctuary of serenity, invigorating sea breeze, lush trees, singing birds, what a wonderful place to be in. Itโ€™s a relatively easy walk, suitable for children as well. Perfect weather to be there in early June, not too cold but at the same time cooling enough for you to trek through. Highly recommended a visit if you are in Gold Coast. Plenty of parking spaces. Many people are there for picnics too.

We enjoyed the morning walk. Amazing views! A long walk to the toilet though when there should be nature calls.
