Great family outing to have. Plenty of shows and events on spread across the day to accommodate to all ages. Lots of beautiful animal displays and loved the new jellyfish exhibition. Would definitely come back again to this place. Only advice is to bring some sunscreen as it can get a little warm in summer. a few good food options and lots of ice cream around.

A fairly mediocre experience overall and incapable of being a world class destination. Highly overrated and disappointed this is associated with an icon of Australia. Definitely would not recommend. If you so happen to be persistent, then buy your tickets online. Try a travel agency for even cheaper deals. Entry is expensive, and everything inside is ridiculously overpriced. This would not be so much a problem if the venue had adequate content, or the food was actually good. I would be ashamed charging those prices for burgers and bad pizza. The sea lion exhibit and the dolphins were probably the best. The underwater passageway for the sharks was also well done. Aside from that, everything else is a glorified pricey zoo. The other huge negative is that everything seems to be on maintenance. Main attraction roller coaster? Closed. Scenic monorail? Closed. One of the few kids rides? Closed. Manta exhibit? Closed for Maintenance. I suppose the only upside is that the rides inside don’t cost extra on top of the exorbitant fees. Just be prepared for long lines.

One of the best theme parks to visit for young kids. The Dolphin show and seal shows are the main attraction. The rides are also great for little older kids 11yrs and above. Lots of shady spots to sit and enjoy your day.

It was a great day out with different shows to watch. My most favourite ones were seal and dolphins show. Beautiful experience to have. Lovely and friendly staff too. Don’t forget to carry a hat, sunnies and sunscreen as it can get hot on a bright sunny day. Some main shows can have a long queue so prepare the day accordingly. Definitely worth visiting the place. Got to learn so much more about so many different water animals 💙

Beautiful place for kids. You can spend the whole day from 9-5 over here. My kids love the dolphins - watching them perform during feeding and during the show. The paw patrol meet and greet was fun for the kids too! Giving them lots of positive energy! There are a few rides for the kids and adults! Well maintained but there’s some queue from time to time…

We visited mid February after the school holiday rush. This was a great choice as the lines weren’t not that long and it certainly wasn’t so packed. The kids were able to get around and see a lot of the attractions with ease. The ride waits were between 5 and 20 minutes. Overall the food and drinks weren’t too expensive either. The kids had so much fun and enjoyed the dolphins.

This was our favourite adventure of all the famous attractions in Gold Coast. The people that work there are so friendly and so passionate about what they do. The facilities are brilliant with so many choices for things to do as well as food choices. The children’s play area is also very well designed. The neighbouring pirate ship attraction is also hilarious if you’re ready to get wet. The highlight is without a doubt the dolphin show. It is a fantastic show and you are so close to the water. The dolphins are huge as well! Highly advise to bring sun cream. They also offer short helicopter flights if you’re keen for that.

Loved the experience. Would have given 5 stars but most of the adrenaline rides were closed. Apart from that, loved the seal, dolphin shows, jelly fish centre, penguin and polar bear spots, etc. Good place to bring kids since there's lot to see. It would be a recreation as well as an educational visit. You can bring your own food and drinks and if you don't want to carry the weight, you have plenty of food options available at the theme park as well.

Despite the rather miserable weather, it was a great day out. Not much wait time for the rides (probably thanks to the weather). The shows are just amazing and really makes it unforgettable. It is a little difficult, though, at times to find where the educational talk actually will take place at the shark Bay and polar bear area.

Great that you don't pay extra for rides. It's very hot. Wear a hat or bring umbrella for shade. Many rides and shows. Use the app to plan or just go with the flow of what the kids want to do while they are there. They may prefer the rides to attractions on certain days or when you go. Better not to stress and just let them enjoy doing whatever they like. Unless it's you personally who wants to see a particular show, the attraction schedule isn't absolutely necessary. I recommend you go and try the adult slushies if you're into margaritas it's behind the ice cream parlor which is next to the ninja turtle stage. Enjoy 😉

Sea World Gold Coast offers an enchanting experience that's both educational and exhilarating, especially for kids. This aquatic wonderland, nestled on the sunny shores of Queensland, Australia, is a sanctuary where the magic of marine life comes alive. Among its many attractions, the dolphin shows stand out as an absolute highlight, captivating children and adults alike with a blend of awe-inspiring acrobatics and heartwarming interactions. From the moment you enter, Sea World feels like a different world. The park is immaculately clean, well-organized, and staffed by friendly, knowledgeable professionals who are passionate about marine conservation. This commitment to the environment and education is woven into every exhibit, making it a place where fun and learning go hand in hand. The kids' excitement was palpable as we approached Dolphin Beach, the heart of Sea World's dolphin experiences. The "Affinity" show was a mesmerizing spectacle, blending the natural grace and intelligence of the dolphins with music and storytelling. The trainers' bond with these magnificent creatures was evident, as they performed in perfect harmony, executing breathtaking leaps and flips. The dolphins seemed to enjoy their time in the spotlight, often splashing playfully, much to the delight of the children. What sets Sea World apart is its emphasis on conservation and education. The dolphin presentations are not just entertaining; they're educational, offering insights into the lives of these amazing animals and the challenges they face in the wild. This educational aspect resonated with many parents, as it sparked curiosity and empathy in the children towards marine life. Additionally, the park offers a variety of other attractions, including the Penguin Encounter, Shark Bay, and the Polar Bear Shores. Each exhibit allows visitors to get up close with the animals in a safe, respectful manner. The Polar Bear Shores, in particular, is a marvel, offering a rare glimpse into the world of these majestic creatures. Sea World Gold Coast is a must-visit destination for families. Its blend of entertainment, education, and conservation provides an unforgettable experience. The dolphin shows, in particular, are not to be missed, leaving kids and adults alike with memories to cherish and a deeper appreciation for the ocean's wonders.

Shows were good, but some were cancelled because of bad weather. Dolphins and seals seem happy and well fed. Highly recommend a visit to the aquarium and touching pools. The Griffith University Jellyfish exhibit was also really cool, and a great photo opportunity. Food was good, but slightly pricey. The new additions soon to be added should make the park a bit more thrilling. The two rollercoasters operating today were good and suitable for youngsters.

Came today using 7 day pass. I’d say out of all the parks not my top. It was bad weather also today so lots of rides closed. But the shows kept. Over Waited 2.5 hours for the new wooden roller coaster. They did a repair and couldn’t be bothered to tell us while waiting and noticed on the theme park app while already waiting over an hour. Food not many options. More options for little kids and rides. My favourite was the seal show and of course the dolphin show. I’d come back to watch the shows otherwise I’d just go to movie world or wet and wild. Even the polar bear was not visible. It’s not the same as it was twenty years ago!!!

An absolutely amazing day. The staff, vets, trainers are all very dedicated to their roles in the park. From the various animal shows and displays to the rides and attractions, it’s always a fantastic day. The cons, be prepared to pay exorbitant prices for very underwhelming food throughout the park. The accessibility to the resort is welcome and makes transiting quite easy. Being able to come and go while a guest at the resort is wonderful, as are the guest only dolphin training shows in the mornings.

This theme park like most of this type is usually geared to kids. I probably won’t ever go again but for my visit with family it was entertaining. A few cool rides and lots of different exhibits for educational purposes. You can even pet the manta rays and dolphins if you’re lucky. Cool polar bears and sharks as well. A few shops and food vendors to satisfy you. 👍😎

Great standard for an Australian theme park. Good entertainment , good themepark style food options, good rides and theme park ap. One point being marked down is the amount of ink wasted printing photos before people even buy them. (Everyone gets a photo taken as they enter , when you leave they are printed and wait . Such a waste for a park pushing sustainability)

I had an unforgettable experience and incredible moments in this park. I will never forget my encounter with the dolphins. The park is amazing, friendly and attentive staff, super punctual attractions. The park is quite big and full of cool attractions, so if you intend to enjoy everything, you will need a few days. For sure if I have the opportunity to return I will stay a week at the park's Resort and calmly enjoy this paradise.

Highly recommend going during the week, NOT on the holidays. It's an amazing place. Spectacular animal performances and great enclosures of some of the best sea creatures there are. The dolphins, seals, and penguins are the best, and the colourful sea jellies are so pretty. Their rides are great, with options for children, teens, adults, and those with a low thrill tolerance. There's also plenty of water activities as well to do on a hot day.

Had an amazing day here! The park is quite large with a variety of things to do. There are different stores scattered around and awesome places to eat. A fantastic spot to learn about sea life conservation. It was nice to see how well the animals were taken care of here. The dolphin show was fantastic and is definitely worth staying for. My only disappointment was waiting in line for the Leviathan ride only to be kicked off because the seats were too small, not a great ride for a taller person. They gave me a fast track pass to another ride which was really nice. Overall I really enjoyed this place, definitely one you shouldn’t miss!

Amazing experience, probably more enjoyable than Movie World, although Movie World has more rides suitable to families needs, the wait times were ridiculous. Sea World, on the other hand, seemed to get the people through quickly. The wild life/sea life was great to see, so enjoyable for the kids and adults. The Dolphin show was amazing, they have done such a good job training the Dolphins, what connection between the trainers & stars of the show. Those dolphins are so clever and talented! And let me tell you, the stingrays were absolutely gorgeous. The wait times for the rides are not as bad as the movie world (max 30 mins I waited for popular ones) even so the wait was worth it as the rides were fantastic. I went on the JetSki ride and it was so fun!

Awesome place to go if you are a sea animal lover, they have dolphin shows and seal shows, you get to see the penguins and touch stingrays. Wonderful for adults and children. There is also a small springier type water play for kids to get wet, great for the heat in the summer time. We recently attended the CARNIVAL spectacular which had a great evening light show. There are a few rides for those who love adrenaline as well. We love heading to Sea world on our VIP pass to see whats up coming and new.

So much fun it was so cool. I would say this very nice. I've been to many aquariums and I got say this one was pretty good. For the amount of space they have they really got it down. It has a whole lot of neat things. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great day out for all ages. Make sure you check out the shows and talks, which are informative and entertaining, and get some rides in if you can. Rides range from toddler all the way through to thrill seeking adult. Stunt show also pretty cool. Even if weather not great, don't let that out you off, still a great day and things continue as normal

This is a great theme park that has a little bit of everything that would keep the whole family entertained. We started off on an educational tour of the jellyfish labs and the penguin tanks. Then we were chilling while watching the thousands of tropical fish, sharks, rays and turtles swim around in circles in the aquarium. We missed the seal show, but the dolphin show made up for it. It was quite amazing how the trainers collaborated with the dolphins for some high flying stunts. Nickelodeon Land was our next stop for some kiddie rides, before we went to Castaway Bay for some outdoor play. Food-wise, it's mainly unhealthy fast food like burgers, chips and ice-cream, but the footlong hotdog was definitely a standout for me. We had a great day, so we went back for more on our multi-day pass!

Overall a good park, but I think it's a bit overpriced. If you saw packed parking either come back another day or buy the tickets with fast track; otherwise you will be waiting in queues for up to an hour for a 1 minute ride. There are some shows and performances at certain times so it is better to use their app to schedule your visit. I liked the aquarium with different fishes. There are options to snorkel in the pond if you like close encounters.

Not great. Been many years since we had last been to Sea World and I can honestly say for two adults, it is an expensive way to fill two hours while you are on the Gold Coast. Staff are apathetic verging on rude, the whole energy in the park is weird and was a real downer. Giving two stars because the three rides we went on (big wooden roller coaster, Storm and jet ski ride) were fun with minimal wait times. Would recommend saving your money and time - skip Sea World.

Went this week with a reserved time slot. Easy to reserve by mobile, a little harder to scan (couldn’t get it to work and no one was there to scan it in). I enjoyed the exhibits and the sea otters are always my favorite. However, it’s a very small aquarium and overpriced by at least 50% on the ticket. It probably took me less than an hour to see everything.

After living here in Seattle for quite some time, I finally was able to make it to the Seattle Aquarium and it was well worth the wait. Attending during the COVID era of social distancing, everything was safe and clean, aisles and walkways clearly marked for one-way traffic. There are two standout areas of the main exhibit, including an amazing underwater dome, that really make this place special. But while that is great, the outdoor portion towards the end of the self-guided tour is equally as mesmerizing as you can really get to see many of the animals in their glory - unfiltered and playing and/or relaxing. You really get to experience it all here, and it is a highly recommended stop for locals and tourists alike.

They really put a lot of effort into making the aquarium safe and clean during this pandemic. There are cute aquatic themed signs telling you which way to go, and the section where you can normally touch sea creatures is all no-touch now, but you can still look! Really impressed with how they handled re-opening.

Nice small aquarium and good for an hour or two when visiting the city if you like to explore the under water world. They do a decent job of trying to get people to social distance by limiting the number of visitors through reservations and floor signage however with children and larger groups it would have been nice if staff were available in different areas to remind people as well. The exhibits are nice however I felt the price was a bit inflated for the experience. Also I wish there were staff available at the different areas to answer some of the many questions I had - you are left to try to read wall plaques and match what you are seeing to what is on the plaque photo.

It's ok .compared to most city aquariums it's small and underwhelming. No sharks except a few small ones in the large some room. No shows going on not sure if they had any...I think they should definitely add more especially for a big city aquarium. Enjoyed my time with what I saw but have seen way bigger and better even in my home state of ct has two nice big ones that are better it seems this place should be much better

Before arriving at the park, we (my family) were disappointed to find out that the Atlantis rides were still not finished and open. But soon after arriving, we forgot about that. The park was so clean, and fresh looking. They have done an excellent job to keep it looking nice and up to date. Nothing looked rundown or old. The exhibits and shows were amazing. The original rides were all operating and heaps of fun. The food choices and quality was really good. All the amenities were super clean and modern. We spent the entire day at the park and all left with smiles on our faces and great memories.

Sea World!! A great place to spend the day out with family! The kids love it there's so much to see and do. Im glad I have an annual pass as its just something different to do when we're not cooped up at home in-between lock downs!! If you haven't been yet, take a day off and explore the park for yourself :)

The place is perfect for fun while learning about sea creatures. The place offers fascinating activities and shows both children and adults would enjoy. Ensure you installed the apps before you going to the place so that you can plan your activities for the day. I finally touched a stingray. The staff were very accommodating. Options for diet in the vicinity is limited; consider this before going to the place. To enjoy the place, consider going early. You may need to spend a whole day in that place. There is also a great resort for cooling down.

Not worth going to during COVID, most rides are out of action. Over priced. They should have reduced the price while waiting for all the rides and mono rails to open up. I wouldn't recommend going at this point. Visited the park New Years 2022. The dolphin show was spectacular I must say.

SeaWorld is one of my son's and mine favourite theme parks. It's a great balance of ride, animals, shows and a great way to fill a day up without the airing in massive queues or leaving completely exhausted. There are toilets and good ammenities spread throughout the park, food options are decently priced and varied. They cater more towards younger kids, think under 13. The animals here are amazing, shows are frequent.

I haven't been to Seaworld for over 8 years and I was so happy with our day out. The park has everything for children to adults. A great place for young families and really handy if you could stay in the resort next door. Busy during the weekend and gets quite towards the end of the day. Staffs are well trained and strictly followed the procedure. Stingray feeding, dolphin show, stunt show and tree house climbing are a few highlights. Monorail is not running at the moment and seems like has not been running for a while. Overall kids had a great time there.

Even arriving before gates open, popular rides still have 20-30min wait times, although still substantially shorter than later in the day (school holiday). Some good food options available. Something for the whole family - animal shows and exhibits, for those who dont enjoy the thrill rides. Nice family day out.

Great place, been here a few times over the last 10 years. When you stay at the resort it has a fantastic water playground for young children. The rooms are very basic and small though, only really cater to family’s of 4, no more. Book your animal experiences before you go, don’t try to get them on the day as you will miss out. I recommend snorkeling with the sharks, it’s the cheapest activity and the whole family loved it, life long memories. Not dangerous at all. Rides are good and cater for everyone, staff are always friendly. Food costs are very high!

A wonderful experience for the family. There were some rides down for maintenance when we were there, but plenty of others, in addition to the plethora of shows and animals, to keep us entertained for the whole seven hours we were there. We used an interactive map, but did find there were a lack of signposts and directions for different areas. It is worth doing some planning beforehand.

Last Friday, my family and I visited SeaWorld and were met with pleasant, sunny weather and a decent crowd. The park boasts an extensive area divided into various zones, each offering distinct experiences and shows. Among these, the highlight for me was undoubtedly the Dolphin show, which left a lasting impression. However, I must admit that while the overall experience was enjoyable, most of the other attractions fell into the "average" category. One aspect that could be improved upon is the value for money. The entry pass fee feels quite steep, especially when considering that several rides were closed during our visit. It would be more reasonable for SeaWorld to consider offering discounts in such situations, as this would enhance the overall guest experience. Despite this, the park's diverse offerings and the delightful Dolphin show did contribute to a memorable day out with my family.

Our teenage son prefers Sea World over Warner Bros Movie World. We had a great family day out. The highlight was seeing the two dolphin shows. Sea World firstly is about the animals/shows/exhibits, with rides secondary (if rides are your primary focus, suggest one of the other parks). We purchased the Fast Track, it saved the 1 hour queues (you wait about 10min). It cost about $79 extra a ticket). If you are making Sea World one of your key places to visit (especially school holidays), I would suggest considering purchasing it to enable you fit in all the animal shows and rides in one day. Thanks to the Sea World team for providing us a wonderful family experience.

Good mix of thrill rides, kids section & animals. The shows are great and the animal experiences are a must if you visit! We did the reef Snorkel and it was AMAZING!!! It was around 60-90minutes. We swam with fish and sharks and it was under $50pp. The staff were great with our teens. Highly recommended

Pretty good experience unfortunately they had majority of the adult rides either closed on not even on they didn’t really have try the seats before your enter which sucks because it wasn’t great trying to get on a ride and getting told to get off because of your height and body size definitely sucked on that part or else I would of went somewhere else. They need to be better than this next time not coming here because I only spent 2 hours the most here.

Fantastic day out, the kids and I loved the dolphins 🐬 show- definitely a highlight of the park and also the 2 polar bears, most of the kids rides were working except for the merry-go-round, big lines for the little roller coaster, the flying bikes. There's lot's of food and drink places available throughout the park, a massive kids wooden playground, water area with water spouts out of the ground, a boat ride with water cannons, another highlight if you have little kids is the Paw patrol show, and the meet and greet with the Teenage mutant ninja turtles. The stunt show at lunchtime had changed- didn't have the bikes doing flips on the ramp but still very entertaining, if your local- definitely recommend getting the locals pass 👌

It’s a good place to visit unfortunately weather is not on our side. Not only most shows are cancelled, we didn’t even make meaningful use of the fast pass. As several rides are closed for renovation and some cannot operates during severe weather. Kids were playing by the reef and thunder alert. All water activities are closed.

First time visiting sea world, they had cute penguins, I thought one of the emperor penguins was fake cause they weren't moving and then realised he was looking after an egg😅 , polar bear that looked hot, turtles, fish, sting rays and so much more. Definitely worth a visit. I would suggest a drink bottle, good walking shoes and sunscreen. Buy tickets online, It's cheaper. The only thing that was really annoying, there wasn't a separate line if you didn't want photos when entering.

Beautiful environment with so many things to do and see. Watch the graceful dolphins do amazing tricks, touch and feed a stingray or go on a crazy rollercoaster ride. Learn about seals, penguins. The list goes on. We will definitely go again.

Fantastic day at SeaWorld my first time :) kids had a ball and those Dolphins 🐬 are absolutely amazing. I'd watch it over and over again Love that the research gets funded this way. The food at the restaurant is amazing for a theme park ! Highly recommend if you are trying to decide which about which park to visit this year please go to SeaWorld I highly recommend it The jellyfish and polar bears were an amazing hi highlight too !!

Had best day out with the Family, so much to see & do for small toddlers through to the big kids - Adults😛. Best fun was seeing the dolphin show, the touch tank with being able to tickle Ray's & the Jellyfish. For the toddler we had - loved, loved Paw Patrol Show & getting to have photos with them. So much fun - do yourself a favour & visit Seaworldau😎🥳😎

An incredible experience! We went the other week when it was raining and while it was awesome, I definitely recommend SeaWorld in the sun, it is amazing. The staff are lovely, and the rides and experiences are so much fun! The $70 for the 14 day photo pass was perfect as we had the 14 day pass to all the theme parks. We have a tonne of photos to remember out time here 100% recommend!!

To the best. Despite its age, Sea World has managed to not only remain relevant, but updated and safe. The park is huge and there are a multitude of things to do for children, from children to adults. We have a child of 5 and a 2 year old, both love to come here and you can spend a whole day here. If you have small children, bring swimmers for them and for you.

So sad to see how out-of-date Seaworld is with so little to see. As a local who has been to Seaworld off and on for a very long time, I would find it very difficult to recommend to tourists. Seaworld's heyday is well and truly in the past with so few attractions or anything worthwhile to see. Once one deals with the challenge of finding a carpark and lines that go on forever, it's difficult to see why it's worth a trip. Seaworld is best avoided.

Busy but can social distance still, not packed, hot.. great staying at resort so can come and go. The resort has water slides which my children loved and cried over when we left. Sea World itself you can take fruit and water, and refill your drink at a water fountain in the park although one i saw was out of order. Or buy ice cold snow cones or drinks. I looked at it as investing in marine animal research and well being, as well as my own enjoyment and education. Firstly, they do rescues like of trapped turtles, beached whales. The animals in the park don't do old school circus tricks and there is info at every show how they are cared for. Even so, the shows are interesting and short so a preschooler can hold attention.. just. You can pat a sting ray on the side. Or just watch up super close. There are rided and cartoon characters around. We dod carousel and some sort of swinging bus. The roller coaster line looked long in the afternoon. There is a cool boat ride where everyone on board shoots water at those waiting or watching and vice versa, you can shoot water to strangers on the boat. The kids climbing frame course was sensational. Day 1 was too hot, we left and came back the next morning and did it then. My 3.5 and 5 year old loved it and it had interesing tunnels, crossings and went super high. I did it too. Staff super nice. If your kids are young, stay in the resort. You can hoo back and forth and not curse if it's too hot or rains or they get ovet dolphins. The resort itself is worth staying for the pool and waterslides.

Decent theme park tailored to kids and the family, but I do enjoy their two rollercoasters! It'll be great to see their new area open up in 2021 with Leviathan - so I'll definitely be back then. Having an annual pass means you can come and go as you please. We often pop down for 2 hours, ride a few rides, then head to Movieworld.

  • 4/5 Bec H. 3 years ago on Google
It's great however it is a MASSIVE walk from the kids water park playground, back to the entrance, now that the mono rail is gone. If you have small children you definitely need a pram or one of those beach buggy's. I would like to see more family based rides that the whole family could go on, rather than just kiddie ones and the extreme thrill rides. There doesn't seem to be anything in the middle like other theme parks have. However its obviously more animal experience based.

This place was the best, but sadly I missed the great Pacific octopus which was my main reason for going. They should perhaps warn visitors of this as it's a rare attraction - i can't be the only person who went specifically to see it. Or maybe I am just that big of a dork. But I shouldn't be forced to confront that fact.

My personal opinion, it's over priced. The entrance to the Theme parks is value for money if you're there for more than 2 days. Bigger rides are limited for kids. If your child is 140cm then they can go on all bigger/Adult rides. If your child is 120cm, they can only go on one, 125cm they can go on 2 bigger rides and 140cm, they can go on all 3 bigger rides. The remainder of the rides are for kiddies up to about 6 years of age. The dolphin show was good and the marine life good. Now going off to Wet and wild and will give my opinion later.

Ensure you have time. Likely to spend the whole day here

  • 3/5 Rhondda B. 3 years ago on Google
Though it was nice to see the impressive aquarium and seal show, I was generally disappointed in the entire business. I paid over $200 for my 12 year old and myself (full time student) who were visiting from interstate. We were one of the first through the gate after arriving a half hour early. NO MAP was offered, nor was it available when asked, so we wandered about the large venue and we needed to ask staff where to go, what was on offer and when. I'm all for saving the trees but it turns out you NEED to have an app and therefore an appropriate device with adequate mobile data and battery to be able to navigate and schedule your day. This marginalises those without use of a smart phone and effectively rips them off. As my phone had failed to charge adequately, I experienced Sea World from this perspective. Imagine the impact this unacknowledged necessity would have on an age pensioner (or any other person- teenager, low income earner, etc.) without the luxury of a smart phone. Imagine bringing your grandkid in and wandering about all day in the heat and their response to missing a bunch of would-be highlights. Other criticisms include inadequate shade (bring an umbrella), a performance which staged rich (good, clean, smart) against poor (bad, dim, rough, dirty). There were long lines for the few adult rides (but a good kiddy ride section). There was NOT A SINGLE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY ANYWHERE, ALL DAY. That's just offensive. The things I enjoyed most were the aquarium (which I didn't know existed until almost closing time), the Western Star trucker-boat which featured in a show, and another vistor, "Boston", an enormous Californian seal from the seal show. I saw many people living with disability and their support people which was nice but I hope other support groups such as Smith Family etc. are able to bring groups of disadvantaged folk through SeaWorld at low or no cost. It's just not worth it otherwise. Maps could be easily printed out by staff on request or available for purchase with funds appropriately distributed and advertised as such, acting as reminder that they are NOT AVAILABLE ONSITE.

Quite an underwhelming experience. The park is very run down these days which takes away from the excitement of the park. The rides were very mild. On a positive note, the seal exhibit and show was very well executed, which was the highlight of our day. If you are lucky enough to see the polar bear(s), that was also good.

We were lodged in the garden view apartments which had only the kids swings close by. The pool view apartments look amazing but the pool is only a few meters walk from the garden view which didn’t make us feel left out. At least we are safe from the noise from the pool area. Good food at the pool area. And buffet at the dinning room each morning are all worth the cost. And of course, you’ll would have gotten value for money if you got the free passes to the theme parks.

  • 5/5 Nicole L. 2 years ago on Google
Such a great theme park for adults and kids. The animals are plentiful, the rides are really good too and meal options are amazing because of the tavern in the park as well. Tables are cleaned as soon as someone gets up in the large under cover dining area of the park.

Some nice views & the shows are the bomb.. Dolphin shows the best 💯

  • 4/5 RZ 2 years ago on Google
I enjoyed watching the sharks and the penguins but there are only few rides for adult guests. The place is more fun for families with kids. The rides are either mild or max thrill level. They should add more moderate options. Overall a good place to visit but not a must see for those who are not travelling with kids.

I just love Sea World. This place is just so wonderful, so much to see and do, so many shows and different interactions. I found my self getting lost, starring into the tanks just drifting away, so relaxing. Plenty of toilets available, and loads of places to buy drinks, snacks or food.

Nice place to spend the whole day. Be early to get the parking spot. Kids had loads of fun. I ma truly impressed with the Dolphin show, seal show and the shark tank.

  • 5/5 Chris F. 1 year ago on Google
What a fantastic fun day out this was for the family. The mix of rides and shows was perfect. Wait times on the rides were about 15 minutes. The animal display and keeper talks were brilliant. The highlight was the dolphin show its the best 20 minutes you'll spend here. Couldn't recommend Seaworld enough so much better then Movie World. Will definitely be back when the new rides open.

  • 5/5 Mike H. 1 year ago on Google
A great day out. Not the cheapest (much like zoos) but well worth it for the experience. If we lived nearby I would definitely look into an annual pass. The sea lion and dolphin shows were good, and the sharks and polar bears we're definitely highlights 😁

We've come during the quiet season. Only 2 rides available today. We can't wait to come back when Atlantis is all completed. The seal and dolphin shows are so good. Really friendly staff great day out Do not buy tickets at the entrance. Much cheaper online.

The animals were amazing but most of the rides were closed. The restaurant was also closed. Real shame. Seems to be lots of building going on so supposed the place was being upgraded.

Good family day out, just check to see what rides are operating before you pay and enter

Awesome park Lots & Lots to do for every age. A fun day out.

  • 4/5 Khan P. 2 years ago on Google
Though the park is ageing, and they definitely need to invest in demolishing a large abandoned castle and water ride in the middle of the park (then rebuilding something new). Sea World has lots of beautiful marine life, unexpectedly fun thrill rides with good theming, and delicious food everywhere. There are some corny yet entertaining stunt and marine life shows. A beautiful jellyfish exhibit building. Adorable stingrays you can pat and feed. An awe-inspiring underwater viewing area where you can see all kinds of marine life. There is so much fun to be had. They just need to invest money into renovating and expanding the park, there is enough in the park to fill a full day, but there isn’t much reason to come back multiple times. They need to build more. And they are! Somewhat. There is a huge new roller coaster being build within the Atlantis development, this will definitely help the park but they need to keep the momentum up and build many more rides and sea life exhibits after Atlantis is done.

Great place, as always food is quite pricey, but just love all the events they have throughout the year.

Many of the rides were closed, we experienced some technical issues on some other rides. The place needs to be expanded.

Not worth the A$100+ entrance fee . .. Two of the four rides closed , mono rail closed . Dolphin and Seal shows ok but just doing tricks for the audience without much information about the animals . Enclosures not that large either . Shark Bay is good though .. Polar Bears looked cramped as did the Penguins. Food was poor , wraps and muffins dry and the staff serving looked totally disinterested.. I'd imagine a family paying $400-500 admission wouldn't be impressed... Seaworld should be able to do better than this ...

  • 2/5 Darren W. 1 year ago on Google
First visit with kids. Previously the monorail, the chairlift, the corkscrew, the log ride, the castle, and the water slides were stand outs...in 2022 they are all closed and many of their newer rides were all closed too. The phone app informed me rides were closed when they were open. The food stalls were serving the same food as movieworld, all poor versions of fast food. Where are all the Asian and Indian style food for the tourists? None to be seen. Two stars for the seal and dolphin shows, they are still good, although in my memory they were better in past years.

Stuck in a queue at tge entrance with an annual pass in my pocket. It's stupid and ridiculous to not have an easier way in for annual pass holders...

  • 3/5 Stuart B. 1 year ago on Google
Has been a long time since I've been here. Seems to be past its peak of the 90's. If you have a year pass it's okay for a day visit. Expect some rides to be out of order. The polar bear seems very bored and lonely.

Such an amazing park, the highlight for me was the Dolphin show, so you guys better not miss it once your in the park check the timing for the show. Lots of restaurants inside, lots of wild life and rides for all ages.. Its a whole day of fun and adventure for the family and friends.

Perfect way to end our little holiday. Loved experiencing Atlantis for the first time- Leviathan is definitely a smoother ride at the front! Literally no wait times for anything. All marine animal viewing was beautiful and we honestly had the best day. Staff professional and added to what was a fantastic experience. Always check website or call to check ride openings. Thankfully today everything we hoped to experience was open!

  • 3/5 Sinead C. 9 months ago on Google
Went on 3 roller coasters, they were all great! Beginning of school holidays bought the crowds along so wait times of more then 20 minutes minimum per ride. Watched the stunt show, I thought that was average. Watched the dolphin show, that was great! Some construction happening around the park which was disappointing for school holidays and disappointed there wasn’t more interactive rides and show given things were closed. Unlikely to go back or recommend until construction is completed

Absolutely amazing place to be with kids and adults, food court was good and reasonable prices. We couldn't see the polar bear but rest of the animals were there in a very friendly and safe environment. Don't miss the morning dolphin show and boat to whale watching.

Opens exactly at 10am. This is a bigger place/attraction than Movie World, u can as well get wet as some rides (not all rides are open). The shows are cool and entertaining. Food are a bit pricey as well but u can bring your own food. Lots of choice for gifts, souvenirs but a bit pricey as well. Very good experience overall.

  • 4/5 Joanne W. 8 months ago on Google
The kids had great fun and we both did as well. The queues for some rides are acceptable. Some just really need to plan ahead to see if ur gonna use virtual queues for it to skip the line.

Amazing place and had a lot of fun there. The experience given at SeaWorld is incredible. There are lots of animals including penguins, sharks, stingrays, and much more. There are sea jellies which are very interesting and seal/dolphin shows. The experience is very interactive. There are lots of rides with different fear levels for each person. Use the theme parks app to see show times and queue lengths for certain rides.

  • 2/5 Deen S. 8 months ago on Google
Completely disorganised place. For example, you pay for Dolphins encounter at one place and walk all the way back to collect your wet suit and walk all the way back again... I don't understand why can't they have water activities payments and wet suit collection close by. Oh you can't even try on your wet suit when you collect, if it's wrong size you change to regular clothes again do the all round trip again.. this is just one thing. Additionally staff have no idea what is where. Not even a map with them to check and inform the visitors. First thing they need to do is make sure the payment and collection of wetsuits are closer to the activity. Second make sure staff has some sort of an app online OR are aware of what's where. No Halal/Vegetarian/Kosher food options... Really disappointed and only good thing was the dolphin show.

Went during a weekday but during NSW school holidays. Was pretty busy, there were lots of shows on and stuff for the kids to do. Food options weren't too bad. Place looks clean and modern for the most part.

  • 5/5 Min K. 7 months ago on Google
In this place, we can meet a polar bear, mini penguins, dolphins, and many fishes. And there is an exciting roller-coaster, too. It is really really fast but not scary. At the top of the roller-coaster, we can see all the landscapes of this beautiful area. I had lots of fun here. I couldn't go around a lot because I didn't have enough time during my journey. Hopely, visit here again next time.

Awesome as always. The staff in the Nickelodeon area are always so extra amazing with the kids. The team with the Paw Patrol characters that day (Thursday) defintely created core memories for my little one. The park is always clean and well maintained when we have been there. Lots of things to see and do, even if you don't go on any rides you can easily fill a day with the sights and shows. We went with a wheelchair user and am very pleased to report we didn't face any accessibility issues at all. We especially love the Sea Jellies exhibit! It's beautiful and so creatively put together

Amazing. Went with family 2 kids and 2 adults. Fair pricing and fun for the kids. Something fall all ages. Kids loved splash pool and the kiddie rides. Adults loved the roller coasters and the shows. Only downside was to see the monorail shut.

Do recommend getting a year pass value for money. Great play to take young kids are just learning about animals. My 1 year one had a blast, Do you have to watch out for the seagulls while trying to eat as they will fly up and steal your food. Overall, it was a great day, and I'm glad I got a year pass so we can come back

Wasn't very busy when we went, very short lielnes for rides. Dolphin show was a standout! They were doing deals on some experiences so our kids got to do the reef snorkel for $45. It was amazing! Even though my daughter was very nervous, she was supported by the lovely ladies running it and it was a highlight of the day. We spent a full day here, enjoyed everything!

Amazing Show! Dolphine and Seal Show is a must to watch when visiting this place. Ride is great but really disappointed to just have 3 out 6 rides open. You pay to experience everything.

  • 5/5 Lauree L. 6 months ago on Google
Awesome day with the family! The Dolphin and the seal show were a must see. Other highlights were the ray feeding (line up early if you want to feed them as these are limited, but you'll still get to touch them), and watching the polar bear feeding from the underwater viewing chamber - so amazing! The rides were more tame than movie world and the turn around times very slow and could be managed much better. However, this did not detract from the excellent day overall.

Had an awesome day at SeaWorld. Not sure how I felt about the main show, but great collection of animals as well as rides. I really enjoyed the Leviathan roller coaster! Plenty of food and drink places around. I think $20 for a mocktail was ridiculous for my pregnant wife but anyway. All the staff were friendly, dolphin show was awesome!

Firstly, it was way bigger place than I thought. Before I went there, I was thinking maybe this place is for kids, but it wasn't. It's a really fun place for adults too! We did a 5-minute(there's longer options) helicopter tour and was great.

One of the BEST places on Earth. Kids loved it. So many beautiful creatures & shows. Especially the Dolphin Affinity show, incredible. Ride lineups were less time than the other worlds. Such a fun day for the family.

  • 4/5 Carl B. 5 months ago on Google
More enjoyable than Movie World, although Movie World has more rides suitable to our families' needs, the wait times were ridiculous. Sea World, on the other hand, seemed to get the people through quickly, except 2 rides kept breaking down. That was annoying. The wild life/sea life was great to see, so enjoyable for the kids and adults. Dolphin show was amazing then done such a good job training the Dolphins., what a connection between the trainers & stars of the show. Another of other thing here come at an extra cost which is a shame, but I guess if it was free it would be Packed. Oh and the pirate ship ride where you squirt people with the cannons was so much fun.

I love aquariums and this was no exception. Sea world was laid out really well with great shows and events, especially the dolphin show. Downside was I couldn't find any healthy food options or water stations to fill up our water bottle.

Amazing experience, very informative about the animals and the work they do such as marine life research and rescue. I always worry about the ethical side of places like this but habitats were lovely for the animals, and they were very well looked after by great and friendly staff. The rides are also really great.

The captivating shows, featuring skiing stunts, dolphins, and seals, were a highlight. Lucky enough to have the polar bear emerge from his cave However, the food was average and, as expected, a bit pricey. It's worth noting that the main rollercoaster didn't open until noon. Fortunately, after 3 pm, the queues subsided, providing a great opportunity for multiple rides.

This place is a must - visit when you go to Gold Coast. The amazing theme park has a lot of amazing rides! But it is definitely toddler friendly. If your looking for an amusement park for your toddlers, this is definitely the place you can go! The lines were busy but I can tell why! It was so worth it waiting 45 to go on the leviathan, storm coaster, and jet rescue. This is definitely something that your kids will remember for the rest of their life.

Sooo much fun. We took our 4 year old. Highly recommend. Also make sure you take bathers or swimwear. You can, and will get wet in some of the areas. Great fun for the whole family! Highlights, the dolphin and seal shows. The park has a good mix of thrill rides and animal enclosures. There is a huge areas for seals, dolphins and sea turtles. Our family favorite was the pirate ship and water park. The little ones enjoyed that especially. Food and stalls every where. Come with deep pockets, I'll be honest, the food is pricey, but it doesn't diminish the overall experience. Plus you're going to a theme park, you know the food is going to be pricey. There's a great little food court, with stalls set up with carnival type games. It's good fun. 😊

A trip down nostalgic lane. The seal show was amazing. I love how cute and well trained the seals are. It was a pretty hot day. I'm glad we purchased the souvenir cups for unlimited drink refills. Otherwise, I would have died.
