Went to Dreamworld for the first time today and had an awesome time! Short lines and great coasters! Also very friendly and fun staff. Plan to go to the water park next time as well. The beautiful tigers stole my heart and were the highlight of my day there! Would definitely recommend!

It is a small, lovely, nicely designed park with something for all ages and some really good rides. Unfortunately, most are out of service, and many ourdated which for this price is not acceptable. Staff is super friendly!

Went to check out their newest attraction, the Steel Taipan roller coaster🎢 it is awesome! It was relatively quiet, which was great as didn’t have to wait long. Be great to see what other improvements they’ll be making over time.

I was here on a Monday so the lines were short or nonexistent which was nice but so many of their main rides were closed due to phasing their reopening. Although the park was clean and a nice family environment and the staff was helpful, it seemed a bit overpriced for the size of the park and then all but one of their main attractions were closed. I’m sure it will be a much better experience when all of the rides are functioning again.

The place is amazing with so many options for both kids and adults. Having been to other theme parks though I felt this is more inclined towards being more for kids than adults even though it has one of the fastest rides in Australia for adults. The place does need some more adult rides. The Lego place is a bliss and you can get all the games here Lego offers so go enjoy them..

Rides for small and older kids, endless fun park. Restaurants, fast foods, and beer on tap. Entertainment for the whole family. Petting zoo, crocodiles and a white tiger for everyone admire. You can take your beach trolley for all the kit. Works well for a young family. Sunblock and hat please. We will definitely be back, especially during school holidays.

Couldn't go all the rides and places for 1 day. There were long lines for some rides but we had great time. Love all animals there. Make sure to keep drinking water and put sunscreen on a hot sunny day.

Recommend for all the family. Lots of rides of different levels. The tiger experience was amazing. I recommend going on the days they feed the crocodiles. Lots of animals and education. A fun day out for the whole family. Food and drinks are expensive and not very good quality but this is the same at every theme park.

Great place to go for the kids, we spent the entire day there from opening to closing and want to go back soon. The kids and parents loved the rides and the shows that are on offer. I would recommend getting the annual ticket as 2 trips you have pretty much paid off the annual passes. Also in summer you have water world and the other associated attractions. We are looking at going back if we can every month. The staff are very friendly and willing to help anybody.

Kids absolutely love walking around this park looking at the animals and then ending up on the rides. A great variety of attractions for all ages. We have the annual passes which make it very affordable and visit probably twice a month.

Annual local pass is very good value. Wildlife section is good for kids not into rides. Would love more variety of thrill rides for thrill seekers.

Wonderful to see the changes to the park. The new rides and attractions are great. Tiger island is my favourite.. I could watch them all day. New Sky Voyager ride is excellent. The food is a fair price for a theme park, they do have good deals. Buy a refill cup. Fantastic day

Dreamworld is a fantastic place for the kids to enjoy a day out. With White Water World just in the other side makes it even better. A lot of good rides for the kids and a very spread out open area. We went for the Halloween event and it was decorated really well to really give everyone the full Halloween experience.

Such great family fun. All ages there’s a right pace and so many things to do. Clean. Not big queues and ample shade areas when it’s warm & sunny. Thanks for an awesome day out with friends.

Worst theme Parc I ever been! My 6years old asked me to go back home after 2h because he was bored! Half the attraction were on and yet they charge you full price. Attractions in maintenance or in construction. Wander around with the nice sound of the jackhammer! Avoid avoid avoid!!

We had so much fun here by far better than the movie world. The presentation we great and informative. Even had lunch with the local lizards 😃. Ride queues weren't as bad as we expected.

Lots of parking and plenty to see. Would be nice to have some seating available while waiting in queues. Luckily during lockdowns it's empty so not much waiting for your turn

Lots of rides and other attractions will keep the family entertained for the whole day. Tiger Island is fantastic as well. Most rides were open during school holidays though staff shortages were evident with long queues. Signage to guide people to way towards rides is missing making first timers waste time, this should be an easy fix, specially when no paper maps are available on site and you are asked to use your phone to navigate. Lastly the evening closing time leads everyone out from the single road from parking lot and it takes literally over 30 to 40 mins to crawl out to the main road - the park needs to petition a set of traffic lights at the roundabout so traffic clears quickly in peak evening period.

We love visiting Dreamworld with our 3 year old or sometimes on our own as adults. We have an annual pass which is great value. We visit mid afternoon when it is quieter and our child loves all the kids rides and seeing the animals. Staff are always friendly and professional. They always make us feel welcome. Today we noticed that all the rides were thoroughly cleaned in between riders which is excellent. We often have ice cream when we are there and the shops is always nice and clean and the ice cream is delicious. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fun day out with the family.

Most of the rides at dreamworld weren't working, and one broke down with people on it while I was in line. Also went to whitewater world and also most of the rides weren't working or shut down due to covid 19 so they said.... Or maintenance but why would you do it at the busiest time of the year. We got accommodation on the gold coast just to go to these parks and both parks were not up to standard. Why should you have to pay full price when you only get half of the experience. Just my opinion but lots of people would think the same. Waste of time, just go to the other parks.

So much to love about this park. So many cool sections it really is 'so many worlds in one'. Great value for money. Great for kids of all ages and adults. Lots to do!!!! Very short lines if any. Even for thrill rides. Not as busy so pretty relaxing. Can't wait to try out the Taipan.

Has come miles from where it was a few years back. Hadn't been since well before "The incident" and the park has changed so much. Safety is top priority, one of our group had bandages covering superficial burns, to stop sunburn, and we were questioned about it in the most professional and courteous way. And it ended up being no problem at all.(Big Thanks to Liz ,I think it was, on the Steel Taipan that day. ) Really great experience overall, can't wait to come back and make the most of my annual pass. Great for families, the rides are heaps of fun, the giant drop, in particular, was absolutley terrifying but so much fun as well. Big thumbs up 👍

Absolutely LOVE Dreamworld and have always had great experiences. Our last visit wasn't so great as a staff member was rude and verbally abused my mother in the food court. We waited 1 hour to place an order for lunch, waited another 45 minutes for the food only for everyone to be told the gas wasn't working and they had to refund everyone. One of our group members is visually impaired and has a cane, a guest in the park walked her pram straight into him knocking him to the ground, a staff member helped the pram lady and left our group member on the floor. The Sky Voyager was stopped mid ride due to someone attempting to film the ride. We were told to leave the ride and had to line up from the back of the queue again (1.5 hour wait) when we should have been allowed straight back on. The shearing shed area was closed too :( (not sure if temporary or permanent). Please keep in mind the is the recent experience, all experiences before this were 10/10. Must have been an off day. Besides that I had an amazing time. Guest services also ended up providing our group with some VIP tickets to skip queues for the troubles. The new Steel Taipan rollercoaster was INCREDIBLE!! The Sky Voyager is always the biggest highlight.

The rides that were working today were good. We did visit after schools had gone back so a lot of rides were closed for maintenance which was fine. I really missed the tower of terror, shame that's gone, but it was still a good day. Will hopefully be much better when they open more areas and rides again.

Park was quiet during our visit due to the off-peak period. No Q for all the rides, we even took twice for some. Limited food stalls inside, restroom 🚻 are good, staff were friendly. However, almost 30% of the rides were under maintenance, we didn't watch any shows too. Must try: Sky Voyager was the best ride we had!

Great day out with kids. Not too crowded at his time(mid aug) so no long waits at the rides which were all good. A lot of construction happening and a lot of things closed, but hopefully ready by summer. Food tasty at high prices but that was expected. All staff were friendly and extra careful with checking safety. The tiger show was great❤️ I got an annual pass so will definitely return

Most cherished experience in Gold Coast. There are so many awesome rides for every age group. Visiting on a weekday has its perks as there were no wait times for any of the rides, and you can also get rides to yourself.

Loved it!!!! It's definitely our favourite out of the theme parks. Great rides and didn't have to wait long. The only downfall is the food, expensive and taste's terrible.

Good value for money and good entertainment, there is a lot of construction happening at the moment so that obviously takes away from the experience a little, There were a few places with not a lot of shade but I feel like they offer more shade than some of the other theme parks anyway. We loved the animals and there were a good range of rides that both parent and kid could go on which is nice.

We visited on a day where it was drizzling rain on and off. I think this definitely made a difference as there were virtually no queues. The wildlife shows are a must to see - of course Tiger Island. We only got around to half the rides and attractions, which is why we took advantage of the 3 day pass deal. Overall it was a fantastic day and would recommend as a value for money park.

A great day out for all ages, whether by yourself or a big group. There's something for everyone! Would love to see more single rider lines & some Gluten Free options in the cafeteria though. The Wildlife Experiences, shows & handlers are fantastic & very knowledgeable. Great range of merchandise as well & variety of rides for kids & the big kids at heart! Definitely recommend =)

Great time out with the kids. More rides are open on weekends in comparison to during the week. They also had monster trucks and bluey there for the holidays which was a great enticement to go even with annual passes

  • 5/5 Fluro F. 3 years ago on Google
I did the Giant Drop during the heavy rain. The ride operator allowed us to discuss whether we wanted to wait for the weather to clear, or go in the rain. They were understanding in letting us go in the rain as it was fun and a great sight to see. The rain went upwards!!

You can really tell that the staff are making an effort to make everyone feel welcome. We didn’t spend much time here this particular day (went to white water world) but as locals, it’s a great day out and it’s an easy pop in for us. Due to covid and staffing, it seems like a lots of rides are out of action - but you can see they have grand plans for new rides etc. Watch this space. We went to the Tiger show which was the first time I’d seen it in years - a lot of fun.

Mesmerize and indulge yourself once again to feel to be like a kid again at this theme park Dreamworld, where all famous cartoon movies like Madagascar, Shrek, and Kungfu Panda were made. Many kids waiting to see their famous cartoon character and also rides were pretty fun and exhilarating. Had a great chance to visit the wildlife at the Corroboree where koalas, kangaroos, pelicans and other wildlife were living. Love to be here again ☺️

  • 4/5 Darren S. 3 years ago on Google
So much walking, but honestly the layout isn’t too bad, a lot of renovations going on during our visit and a few old favourites gone since my last visit But the park itself looks good, staff could be a little friendlier but not too bad, would recommend the pizza or burger place for lunch, the take away shop is a bit average Will be returning

It's either the 4 park mega pass or the DreamWorld yearly. Dream world has a lot of great things. I find it incorporates a better balance of shows - Tiger island, Madagascar, trolls, the wiggles etc than movie world. And it also has rides every age group. The water park is newer than wet n wild so I feel it is easier to do everything at one place. Get both passes and have a great time.

  • 3/5 Jayne B. 3 years ago on Google
Lovely visiting tiger Island. Dream World was busy. Can't get to white water world from inside the park, you have to go out then enter.

The greatest thing about Dreamworld is the variety - Theme Park, Water slide Park & Wildlife Park all in one. There is plenty to do for everyone. The new Sky Voyager is spectacular & easily the best family attraction at any of the Gold Coast Theme Parks.

Bit of a let down. It's been many years since I've been. Maybe I'm just getting older and don't so so well on rollercoasters anymore but not much variety in the park since the accident occured I've noticed. Safety first!

  • 4/5 Jackie C. 3 years ago on Google
We've have annual passes for two years now. Great for kids as they have kid friendly rides, animals (Tigers, kangaroos and more), shows and performances and plenty of room for us to have a picnic lunch. Parking is usually easy but you may need to walk a few minutes to the entrance. With COVID things can be slower as they need to stop the rides at regular intervals for cleaning, but they're doing the best they can given the situation.

  • 4/5 Samantha D. 3 years ago on Google
We enjoy coming to dreamworld with our yearly passes! My 4 year old loved the monster truck show but next time please consider having some shade from the sun

  • 4/5 Mark K. 3 years ago on Google
I was a bit worried with all the planned maintenance on their website and also my phone call to them before the visit did not allay my fears. They are rotating some rides during staff shortages due to lockdown?!? We may have been lucky that greater Brisbane was in lockdown. As there were hardly any lines, the queue's were short. Some of the food outlets were only open during a lunch period, but that suited us. The kids loved it, there is a bit of a rebuild at the park in the obvious Wild Rapids section, which meant the Animals Corroboree section/ Vintage Cars seemed disjointed. One day was enough without us visiting the water park. If it was busier and you wanted the water park, three day pass would be the go, and you could probably do all the rides twice. My kids are between 7 and 12 plenty for them. The smaller kids would have just enough to do as well I reckon. But Wiggles and some of ABC stuff closed when we walked through.

With all the social distancing rules it's really not worth the money. Even when the park is quiet it takes forever to get on the rides because of the limitations on numbers of people that can go at a time. I definitely won't be renewing my season pass while the QLD Government still imposes social distancing rules.

  • 2/5 Omri D. 3 years ago on Google
Pricing for this should be by height and not by age, our daughter (5years old and 115 CM) couldn’t go on almost 50% of the rides as they require you to be at least 120CM so it was quite frustrating as she really wanted to go on more rides. Moreover, some rides were closed not sure why.

  • 5/5 Jess T. 3 years ago on Google

Cant rem exact but this world has more native animal experiences like koala and kangeroos experiences. Rides are available as well but lesser in varieties compared to Movie World. Still a decent visit if you like animals.

Dreamworld is a great place for kids of all ages. There are plenty of rides for smaller children and some great rides for the more adventurous kids. They have a water park that was not open on the day we visited, and there are a few new rides not yet open, but there was still plenty to do. The food was expensive but they were decent portions, fresh and tasty. It is a lot of money for a family for a days outing, but if you go online think about buying the yearly pass. There are several to choose from and for a little more money you can have entry to several venues for a year. Much better value for money than a day pass.

Went on a Monday and it was nice and quiet, got to go on the rides multiple times with little to no queuing times, only one that had a queue was the motorbike roller-coaster but that was because my kids needed to sit in the side carriage due to their height and they only had one side carriage per ride so the queue banked up. The ones not needing the side carriage got straight on. I read reviews about it being out dated and old but I found the atmosphere nice and the themes/sections still kept well. All in all we had a great day, my boys (7 and 8) got to go on most rides aside from the Taipan and giant drop with their height limit which didn't bother them.

Fantastic fun for all ages. Purchase a multi day pass and pace yourself by completing Dreamworld (dry rides) on one day and White Water World (wet rides) on a separate day. Highly recommended.

Most go & Best theme park in Australia with options of 3day & annual passes. Best thrill, kids, family rides along with water sports. Thats my second experience and was happy with parent swap option. Thanks everyone working there to make this place going and providing friendly environment.

A great theme park cater for all ages. We bought the annual pass so that we can do mini trips there.

There are a large amount of rides and attractions. It has a wild life section, and tiger displays. A few more rides are under construction at the moment.

Amazing park, lots of different rides for all ages! Love tigers!!! The only down was that not all rides were opened and train was also closed. The food was average and a bit overpriced. Otherwise was all good and we will definitely be back again one day!

It's definitely got better rides better than movie world for kids ( 3 onwards) !! Could do a lil more with characters interacting with kids...

A bit of a wait to get in. However, fantastic rides. Love being able to park hop to the water park. Very little wait for rides (2.5 hours on the same day as movie world which was a joke). If you are looking to visit a park which offers outstanding value and very good rides I would visit! My teenagers snd my young daughter all loved the park. The tiger show was outstanding too. Something for everyone.

Probably the only theme park worth a visit if you want good thrill rides on the gold coast. We were lucky as there were no queues and the steel Taipan is very good! My only gripe is charging very little kids full price when they cannot go on 90% of the rides due to height restrictions, this should be changed.

Great fun kids enjoyed this section of the park.

Loved the food hawkers. Lots of fun for kids

Half the rides were on and white water world was closed. Maybe they should have charged half price tickets, really shocking and disgraceful. On the positive side, the ladies at the eatery were wonderful and staff were also quite nice also, but guy's when we pay nearly $800 all up for tickets and its mainly closed, not nice, and we can go for 12 months is not excuse, its covid, most of us have one shot. Change your prices to be inclusive of what you have at the time or you're ripping people off. Thank's

This place is better suited for kids. Don't expect any high thrilled rides. I think there are great aspects that can be improved to attract more people, however as of right now, i'd give this place a so-so, slightly overpriced for the price.

Always such fun visiting this area of the theme park. Grand daughter loved the merri go round there. Plus all the different characters were very popular with the children.

One of the most beautiful gardens in Australia. All staff are highly qualified. I wished that the pray-room was open so that I could pray with my family

It was so much fun. The rollercoasters were really good. Steel taipan was kind of scary but overall everything was nice.

Our family of 5 had the best time today. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rain held off, all areas of the park were so beautifully presented and maintained. We visited the animals, held a koala and fed the kangaroos. Wait times for rides was barely existent. It was awesome, thanks so much.

Had a good "happy Halloween" event, great for the kids. However, when we asked if wet weather has any type of refunds, we were told no.. kind of difficult had it been raining badly, to push a baby around. Might have to revisit that

It's good to have something for the little kids to enjoy. Thanks to whoever handed in my telephone! Also thanks for the quick reaction of the staff when my little one decided they were lost!

Great variety of rides for all ages. The Sky Scanner was incredible and definitely worth doing! We were surprised how much we actually enjoyed the native animal section. The tree kangaroo was very lively and enjoyed a good scratch from the keeper. Nice to be able to be close to the kangaroos and koalas too.

Great day out with family. Kids (7-19) all enjoyed the experience. Rides were good, food a little expensive but we brought a pre-made lunch so that made it easier.

Yes Dream World is a great place to visit with the family. There were some rides that were under maintenance but they had some new rides and the park wasn't real busy so quick waiting times at the rides. The park was very clean and tidy. The facilities were kept clean and in good order.

  • 2/5 Sue M. 1 year ago on Google
There was absolutely no atmosphere at all. Almost everything was shut. They're obviously undergoing some upgrades/re-branding throughout the park, but it was pretty depressing considering the cost involved. A couple of good rides, but that was about it, unfortunately. The positive was that we found all the staff to be very friendly. I hope they can bring it back to it's former glory.

Had loads of fun, my children enjoyed the rides big and small. Staff are very friendly, patient and focused on your safety. Food is really good and loads for the sweet tooth…🤣🤣 We’ll definitely see you guys in the future!!!

Dreamworld was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. There are lots of rides and this is definitely the best out of all the theme parks in Gold Coast. There is a wildlife section including crocodiles, tigers, koalas and kangaroos. There is a lot of rides which are very enjoyable and a section for children to enjoy with easy rides. There is a wide arrangement of food and photo shots. Buy tickets in advance.

Ice Skating Experience. Well presented and ice rink was set out well for all ages. Dreamworld Experience all round, great daily outings for boys and girls.

Great place to spend the day, lots of fun rides. Unfortunately, the kids' area is under renovation to give way to new attraction/theme. I like that they have night markets with lots of food stalls to try out.

Fantastic slice of Australia here! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic food and so much to see and do. Awesome day, lots of stuff for the younger ones and the rides are insane!

  • 4/5 Peter B. 8 months ago on Google
Visited dreamworld with the family in the off season which is great as there literally was no wait to very little wait times to go on rides. Only downside is some rides were under maintenance but we did enjoy the rest of the other rides available. Food is quite expensive which isn't a surprise. But definitely recommend going.

  • 4/5 Adam E. 9 months ago on Google
Great theme park for the family. There is quite a bit of the park under construction at the moment which makes for a few detours that aren't ideal but hopefully the upgrades will be finished in a year or so. Some great new rides to go on overall a good experience would suggest an annual pass if you're within a hour drive to get the most out of the park

  • 5/5 Nyx S. 7 months ago on Google
Awesome rides, good food. Too bad the Mexican place wasn't open when we went there. Probably for a good reason after going on the Steel Taipan and Big Drop.

  • 5/5 Sarah S. 6 months ago on Google
We had a great day with friends at both dreamworld and White water world. Due to the heat, we had no wait times and not busy at lunch time. The water park was very busy but we were able to find a table. Glad we bought passes and tickets booked for 🎃

A very large amusement park, it is suitable for children to play for a whole day, there are many facilities to experience, and there are many unique Australian animals, such as tree frogs, jerboas, snakes, crocodiles, koalas, kangaroos, etc., parking The field is also very wide

  • 5/5 Samantha T. 6 months ago on Google
Great family day out, even for small kids. Lots to do. Midweek entry (wed) no ride wait times. Park very clean even with construction work happening

Visited 08/10/23 Park was busy and alot blocked off for construction. Administration was still at full price. Should really let people know that it's under going a revamp. We never visited before and was not a great first visit. We are from interstate so we won't be visiting again anytime soon. Hopefully next time will be better

Great day. rides were fun and lines short. We went a Friday during term time.was an informative tiger show and pretty cool seeing them up close and hearing about conservation work. neat little petting zoo koala interaction bit over priced but worth it to hold them I guess. the serpant ride will make you throw up- do that and the claw before you have lunch! will take you a whole day to get around the park, leave time to spend in the Lego store on your way out!

So excited for the new kids area to be complete, it looks amazing! It’s also nice to see the park have some new attractions and changes! My daughter and I went around on the wiggles planes 4 times in a row😅 Thanks for a fun day!

We visited dreamworld on a weekday, finding a parking spot was pretty easy and we didn’t had to wait at the entrance as we had tickets bought online. Our little one and we enjoyed few of the rides available on that day. We loved the tiger presentation as well. The best for us with our little was sky voyager, quite a surreal experience. As the rain started after 2 pm it seemed like park patrons were leaving the park early, few of the rides seemed to be paused momentarily may be for safety reason. Overall our day at the park was an average. I found most attractions were either on construction phase or were on annual maintenance, so I don’t think I was able to get value of what I paid. I wish the management would give some offers on tickets if this is the case.

I originally did a not very impressed review. But I quickly changed my view on the fact that the staff are trying their best to give a great experience when the park is undergoing changes. It must be hard with this heat. I really appreciate all their efforts. I’ve attached a photo of how happy my son was for this lady’s enthusiasm and her help for “making sure we won”. Thank you for making my son’s day and for up keeping the parks cleanliness and efficiency. The sky voyager always makes me cry! Thank you.

Fun for all ages. Wiggle show so exciting for my grandson, even nana went on the Taipan! Went hard in Dreamworld, then even harder at Whitewater World. Carnival vibe, good old-fashioned fun 😁

Love you ! My fav place all over the world ;) the only amusement park where you can find everything! from truly thrilled rides, through koalas, kangaroos and other animals typical for Australia, through tiger island and many attractions for children! The park is beautifully growing. ❤️❤️❤️ And of course big love for my fav ride Giant Drop ! Glad it’s still there😂❤️

Perfect day with lots of great attractions for all ages. Special shoutout to the rides, The Giant Drop, Steel Taipan and Sky Voyager. We all had an amazing day and we especially loved the Tiger show.
