Absolutely amazing rooms. Pool was nice but really enjoyed having direct access to the beach. Beach was practically connected to the hotel! We stayed in a room that had access to the lagoon style water feature. It was magical to be able to walk out and relax on the grass islands in the middle of the lagoon. Food was amazing as well. Loved the seafood buffet station. Very good value.

This property is well and truly in need of refurbishment. The room (1br studio lagoon view) was quite dated. Having said that, the room was clean and the bed was fantastic. Staff were outstanding. Pool was nice. Restrooms near the pool were horribly dirty. Great location. Nice beach. Good places to eat nearby. Overall - a comfortable and nice stay but I wouldnโ€™t hurry back any time soon. A 4* rating would be more appropriate for this property.

After reading some reviews here, I was a bit concerned for coming to the hotel but I have to say that I couldnโ€™t find any small negative thing at this. Wonderful excellent first class place. Never had such huge room with a wonderful view to the ocean and with such a perfect service. And also to mention the beds: we slept like in heaven, although one of us is a very light sleeper!!! Thanks so much the wonderful employees here, especially the duty manager of the day of our arrival or the extremely friendly ladies st the guest service telephone. Really, everybody here in this wonderful hotel, did its best, to make our stay one of the most remarkable state ever we had in the hotel. For sure it will come back and stay next time even longer, because this is the best place also to relax and to recharge. And donโ€™t miss their tasty breakfast!! I really can now understand, why this lovely place is many days in the year booked out!

Excellent service, well looked after property in general (some minor repairs are needed in the room and around the resort). Very relaxing place to stay, pools are decently heated which is excellent with their popular swim up bar. Staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. Overall, leaps and bounds better than their competition across the road, we will be back very soon.

Amazing hospitality. Amazing staff. Amazing service. Can't ask for more. If you want to feel like king, this is the place to stay. I want yo name the staff and it is worth interacting with them. Andrea at reception, Jessica Manager guest services and Shane concierge manager are the best. You guys made my stay beautiful guys. Love your work. Restaurants are good. Good and buffet are amazing. Free Icypoles on pool makes kids happy. Location at the beach with easy access makes it the top spot. Can't ask for more. Will come again soon.

Incredible venue. Gorgeous arrival with the doorman, warmly welcomed and stunning art in the foyers. The function we attended was a black tie fundraiser for Blue Tree by TSS. All the catering was delish; and the stage and itโ€™s room was excellent. Thank you for an incredible evening.

I have many, many things that I'm very pleased about with this hotel resort, it was an absolute delight to stay here for a couple of days. These guys focus on the important things: 1. Customer service โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† 2. Food quality โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† 3. View โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† Everything was 100% satisfactory. One of the nights I was staying here, I had ordered a cocktail from the bar in the pool; I was required to get my ID from my room, and when I had come back, the staff member had kindly made me a fresh one as I was gone for a while. This had made my experience well improved. Unfortunately, in my room, the phone was a bit faulty. However, the staff members did absolutely everything they could to reach out to us and attended to our needs of service. Many apologies were given, even when it was never their fault. They even offered to send someone to look at the wiring of the phone. I'm pleased to say I am 100% coming back here with my friends as I've spoken highly of this resort. Thank you so much for a delightful experience.

The spectacular Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast is the only resort in Gold Coast with direct beach access. Designed by Media 5, the 3.4 hectare resort located next to SeaWorld was the 1st international resort built at the Gold Coast. Although it is now over 36-years in age, it is well maintained and gives you a great feeling when stepping into the resort. Service is wonderful, with everyone so attentive. Highly recommended ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Get the seafood Buffet!!! We had the seafood buffet at the Terraces restaurant and it was fantastic. All you can eat prawns, crab, muscles and oysters as well as lots of other options including non-seafood. All delicious! We also had a plate of bugs and a bootle of white wine which wasnโ€™t included in the buffet but well worth it! Thanks to the manager, Dan, who really looked after us. Highly recommend!

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort in Gold Coast. Pros: - Spacious and clean room/ bathroom - Nice nightly turndown service, friendly staff - Room service meals are delicious, friendly staff - Breakfast buffet is excellent - Parking area has lift that could go directly to the room floor which is convenient - From the pool area there is direct access to the beautiful beach - Last but not the least, Complimentary Water Refill station and Ice Machine available on every floor. With Sparkling, Chilled and Ambient water options. Which is outstanding, my kids love it. Cons: None that I can think of

Brilliant location with direct beach access. Close to Sea World and about 4km walk into the main strip at Surfers Paradise. Room was immaculate (apart from one blind missing), and staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant and in room dining was delicious and great value. Pool is huge and even has a swim up bar. Great location for a couples getaway or equally a great place to bring the family.

Absolutely loved staying at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort. My partner and I stayed there 18th of December 2021. From the moment we parked outside we experienced outstanding customer focus from all staff. They were very attentive and service minded. And when I write everyone, I am not exaggerating. EVERYONE from the lovely receptionist to the wonderful cleaner who helped us find our room when we got lost (in which he remembered, as the day after when we saw him again he asked whether we found our way to the room alright = attentive) to the bartenders at the poor area to the people working in the restaurants. Our room was big with a beautiful spa bath in which I enjoyed a lot. Great air quality and comfortable beds. What more can you ask for? A special salute to the gentleman working at The Oyster Bar & Grill restaurant who literally made me, and everyone else he talked to, feel like a royal with his very polite language and etiquette. Highly recommend!

My husband & I just spent a week here & the resort didnโ€™t disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were so well looked after. Doors opened, cabs called, filtered still or sparkling water on tap. Our bed was really comfortable with the room quiet & dark so we slept so well. The daily buffet breakfast was the best we have ever had with so many amazing choices, friendly waiting staff & the best coffee. Poolside was very relaxing with cocktails, pool towels & great lunches on offer. The beach right out the front was so convenient for morning strolls either direction & an easy walk to surfers. Great restaurants at the Mirage Marina opposite and Tedder avenue not far away. Everything you need for an escape from the everyday chores & cold Melbourne weather. We will be back some time soon.

Visited here for a weekend in October 2022 enjoying a fantastic stay. Large hotel with several wings with 3 stories of rooms, swimming pool and a number of restaurants and bars. The rooms are looking dated, not unsurprising with the age of the hotel. However the remainder of the property has been done up, slick and modern. The pool and pool bar the highlight for us. Staff missed a couple of things eg we asked for more towels which never came. First world problem with the rest of our experience awesome. We noticed a huge difference in price when comparing a mid week to weekend stay, so if you can stay mid week, much better value. Well done to all the Sheraton team.

Stayed here for a conference and was surprised at how run down the place is. For the price of the room (even with a discount), it was no way near up to standard. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was great. Also loved the direct beach access. But that's about as good as it gets. The room was clean and tidy but everything is old and falling apart, plus we came back to the room one night to find a massive roach running across the floor!

This place is beautiful and a sight to behold. The hotel/resort was able to accommodate an early check in due to time constraints of an event taken place on-site. Every single staff member was polite and friendly, greeting you as you walk past. The room and amenities were also top-notch. I don't have to look for another place if I'm staying on the Gold Coast!

Such a beautiful restaurant to eat at! The food is average, oysters and crab meat is small but still nice enough to enjoy. And the environment of the restaurant is 10/10. Also Our waiter for the table was staff Sonia, Sonia went above and beyond to ensure we were all catered for. She made my entire family feel so welcomed and happy to be eating there. We will definitely be back!!

Cant fault anything about this place. I knew it was gonna be good when I arrived in a taxi and by the time I paid and got out, my bags and suite were waiting for me outside. Rooms were clean, generous amount of room and large television with smart features. Outdoor pool was clean and warm even in the cold. Buffets were great (all three meals) . The whole place was filled with artwork and artifacts. Hope to be back with family.

We stayed here recently for 4 nights. We booked a two bedroom villa which was fantastic. All the staff are amazing and friendly and we had such a great time. There was a small issue with our room and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was hassle free. Big thanks to Johnny, Abraham and Marie for really looking after us. Jack at the pool bar was such a hard worker and so friendly. Great service is hard to find recently and Sheraton Mirage have really nailed this aspect. The professional, efficient and friendly service put all guests in a fabulous mood and it was a great vibe. We canโ€™t wait to come back again.

This is my second stay, the first time while at a work event nearby and this time for a few days with family. The hotel is starting to show signs of its age and needs some love. The rooms are a good size and most of the staff are delightful. The room service meals were poor and Iโ€™d recommend dining elsewhere as the on site restaurants arenโ€™t great either, plenty of good places not too far away though. The pool and swim up bar are the main features and we enjoyed them.

No wonder this place has a five star rating. I could find no fault with any of the staff. They were also super friendly and couldnโ€™t do enough to help you. The rooms were spotless, the grounds and the pool were pristine, and the food at the restaurants was Sublime. I have to say seafood buffet was the best! The bed was amazing & the sheets was soft and cosy. And as for the location - just WOW. The moment you walk into reception, your breath is taken away by the view it overlooks the pool and then onto that beautiful beach. Thank you to all involved I loved my stay.

This resort has always been a great place to stay. Excellent service, a great buffet breakfast and on weekends a wonderful seafood buffet. We have always found to be friendly and very courteous and the ground floor rooms are a favourite as they open up on to a ground floor patio where you can sit and have afternoon drinks as the sun goes down. It is a very short walk to the Main Beach Surf Life Saving Club where they do great well priced meals and a fantastic view out to the sea. The rooms have both sparkling and normal tap water available at certain points around the hotel as well as ice machines. Great resort style pool with a swim-up bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort - the staff are all very friendly and accommodating, restaurant staff were all very attentive. Food at the breakfast buffet was delicious and loved the fresh juicer! Seafood buffet was also delicious, just wish I could fit in all of the options! Met Hotel Manager Daniel who was lovely and accommodating. Thank you all for a great quick getaway to Queensland.

Stayed in Sheraton Grand Mirage Gold Coast Not a good experience at all. In the room duvet has got no cover they just white sheet on top spoken to the duty manger and she advise me thatโ€™s what they have always they never had cover for the duvet. Duvet has got stain mark on it as well as itโ€™s not cover with the sheet. First five star hotel without the duvet cover on the bedding. Also on the website this hotel has got the SPA and sauna but they advise it has been closed from two years

If you want a relaxing resort style holiday with wonderful pool and beach access, this is the place for you. Beautiful scenery and location. But room and furniture is showing its age. They clean the usual parts but still need to properly vacuum corners and hard to reach areas and dust picture frames, above beds or aircon vents. Sofas in the restaurant were patched with tapes. And they need a proper pest control plan in the kitchen area.

I have visited twice for their seafood buffet, and once for High Tea. It's just such a beautiful setting and the staff and service are fantastic. The spring time high tea was beautiful, although for the price think a few more savory dishes and less sweet dishes would be better. The music could be changed with a softer cruisy vibe, like Frank Sinatra as people doing high Tea are talking so they just need some soft easy going background music. The chairs aren't the most comfortable in the Pearl Bar as the back incline isn't right. I'd go back in a heartbeat though as the outlook, atmosphere and above all, the staff are so accommodating and service impeccable.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights, but unfortunately, we were dismayed by the cleanliness issues in our room. The bathroom and carpets were not well-maintained, and the room was quite dusty. I understand they donโ€™t want to replace the 20 yr + old carpets but at least they could do some vacuuming. If you have any allergies I would avoid this place. While the staff was friendly, their attentiveness fell short, especially when it came to replenishing towels after housekeeping. They did not provide the towels after the housekeeping. I had to ask 3 times to get the towels. Expect to clean your own toilet too. Breakfast was average. Overall, the food, room service, and minibar failed to meet the expectations one would have for a 5-star resort.

My recent stay at Sheraton was a major letdown. First off, the room service was a joke. They claimed to clean daily, but my room looked like a tornado hit it the entire time. Towels everywhere, overflowing trash โ€“ you name it. And don't get me started on the food. I expected some decent family-friendly options, but the meals were bland and tasted like they'd been sitting out for ages. The kitchen seriously needs a wake-up call. I tried talking to the staff about these issues, but they seemed totally uninterested. It's like they don't care if guests have a good experience. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and look for a better spot for your family getaway. Sheraton doesn't cut it. One star is being generous. I would give it zero stars if I could.

  • 4/5 Katrina G. 7 months ago on Google
Very relaxing stay, pool is lovely and staff are friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast is great. The room was nice enough, but not as good as we were expecting for a 5 star resort and the price we paid. Bed wasn't as comfortable as we thought it would be based on the info on the website, and the bathroom location was weird and had a window into the room that if someone went to the bathroom during the night and turned on the light, it lit up the whole room.

I spent a week here on vacation with my family. From my first interaction with the team, I was impressed with their service. The check in experience was friendly and helpful. The room is well appointed albeit looking dated. The pool facilities are excellent and easy access to the beach via a rear gate. The buffet breakfast was excellent. A little expensive for those that donโ€™t have it included in the room rate. Again, great levels of service from the team here and also in the cafe. For gym goers, you do have access to an offsite gym which is a short walk away. For a hotel of this size it would be great if it offered its own gym facilities. Overall, great accommodation and compliments to management for leading a high performance team that value professional levels of service.

I attended The Korean Veterans' Xmas luncheon on 24 November and wanted to pass on my thanks for not only a fabulous meal but for our wonderful waiter Shane. Shane has a genuine smile and he was most attentive to our table and certainly added value to a great experience. I did thank him but wanted to also let you know what an asset you have in this young man. Thank you. Betty Robinson.

Stayed here and had a really awesome experience. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was nice and really comfortable. It has a big TV lovely for your movie night. It directly face to the beachfront for easy access to the beach and pool. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, have an absolutely amazing experience in the resort.

Would just like to say we had a beautiful stay at the Sheraton, the buffet breakfast and dinner was fresh with a great selection of food. Fantastic location and very relaxing atmosphere. One thing I must comment on is the outstanding customer service, we had a few issues during our stay which were rectified immediately by Marie Barault, she was extremely understanding and went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay, Andrea at the front desk and the staff at Terraces restaurant were extremely helpful and always smiling, they went out of there way to greet us daily and ask how we were enjoying our stay, itโ€™s actions like this which would make us return in a heart beat. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service we received from your staff during last night's event. In particular, I would like to highlight the outstanding contributions of Janice and Issy. They were incredibly attentive to our every need, ensuring that our table was well-stocked and that we enjoyed a delightful dining experience. However, I must emphasize the exceptional care and consideration shown by Alice. She went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary requirements and was unfailingly kind throughout the evening. I truly appreciate her remarkable service and also the chef and their team. Your team's dedication to ensuring our event was a success did not go unnoticed, and it made our experience at your hotel truly memorable.

Comfortable and quiet stay overall but for the price I would have expected a few more things such as... 1. The hotel doesn't have a gym. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect a gym. I'd also expect an indoor pool plus sauna / spa. You can use the gym in the shopping centre over the road however but you need to pay a $30 deposit for the card 2. No coffee machine in the room. I've stayed in more basic hotels that have a nespresso in the room 3. Hairdryer was from the 1990s and didn't really heat up. I didn't bring mine as assumed there would be a decent one here 4. No complimentary bottled water. There is a filtered tap in the hallway but a nice addition would be one in the room Breakfast choice was good but quality really wasn't. I ordered room service one night and when I phoned they said it would be 20 mins - it was an hour and a half by the time it arrived. Bring anything you may need with you unless you plan on heading back down into surfers etc as there are no shops around here to get anything. Nice that there is direct access to the beach, and the room was very quiet so I did get a good night's sleep ๐Ÿ˜ด

Great location, hotel located near the everything we need. Friendly and helpful staff. Surprise upgrade and welcome amenities from FO team. We would usually stay at the JW Marriott in the area though they were booked out and were able to stay here as it is part of the same group. We were pleasantly surprised with the Sheraton to the point where my wife is suggesting that it becomes our regular accommodation for the area, though you can really start to see the age of the resort based on the rooms and the surrounding water feature as the bathrooms and rooms could do with a refurbishment and the water feature either needs a major renovation to make it an actual functional part of the resort or at the very least the surface refinished. I understand that the pool is probably never going to be as much of a draw card as the one at the JW but I think some effort could be made as the pool would get extremely overcrowded in the hotter months.

Unable to attend, I sent flowers to Sheraton Mirage Gold Coast, where my sister was celebrating her 70th birthday, unfortunately she changed her arrival date and they arrived a day earlier. No one was able to locate them. Being in front line customer service most of my life, I really appreciate when someone goes above and beyond to help. No one could find these flowers. Finally Georgia not only found them immediately but exceeded my expectations by sending me a photo of the flowers and assuring me they would go straight to my sisters room. So appreciative of your kind, patient and friendly manner Georgia, you are certainly an asset to your workplace.

All staff are outstanding, very helpful, friendly and professional. Loved the resort ambience and direct access to beach. Breakfast has wide choice and great coffee. However the fresh-cook section needs major rethink as it is very slow. Some things not working eg ice maker or not contemporary eg non touch design for public bathrooms is needed.

Great hotel with very comfortable room. Large pool with swim up ool bar was a highlight. You can walk from the resort to a surf patrolled beach in 60 seconds which was great to not have extra travel while on holiday. Very friendly staff and a fantastic seafood buffet.

The Sheraton Grand Mirage has a great setting with direct beach access. Large, comfortable rooms although the whole resort is quite dated. Pleasantly laid out, surrounded by water. A good amount of poolside seating although itโ€™s disappointing that a hotel of this size does not have an adult only pool available.

Great for kids....they can go and play on the fields while still being in full view from the dining area. The food is good, but maybe a touch overpriced, considering that half of the floor space is taken up by pokie machines. Limited choices for beer on tap, but more variety available in the fridge. Been a couple of times with large groups (>10), and the kitchen does struggle to cater for this.....the first meal has been eaten by the time the last meal comes out. Never an issue with 4-6 people in the group. Looking forward to the renovations being finished!

Absolutely beautiful place, breathtaking. With easy access to the beach. Food (itโ€™s our first night here) very delicious and fresh. But..we had a very bad experience with checking in. We been told that room is ready, and staff gave us access card. We walked in, and room was very messy (look like someone just left the room) We returned to the main reception, and been told that they will quickly have room ready for us. We waited there for another 2h with a little baby, to be able to access our room. Paying all that $$$ + waiting there with a baby, made our welcome to resort really bad experience.

There are toilets and bins. It is wheel chair accessible and has a covered free gas BBQ. There is a small children's playground under a sail with a seperate area with exercise equipment which is also under a sail. A football field is there as well and a large car park. There are two covered benches with seats as well as uncovered benches.

Lust spaces throughout. We stayed for a week in one of the 2 bedroom villa with kids. The rooms are good size slightly over decorated so prepare to run into furniture. We had buffet breakfast throughout our stay the buffet is good and well serviced and staffed. Good coffee. Clean pools walk ways and easy access to beach. No kids activities on site at all. So if you are visiting with you get kids find your own entertainment. No gym on site. Small pool. The staff are courteous. Only downside is we had to call everyday to clean, and even with that the staff cleaning rooms always forgot something.
