Rooms are dirty with empty drink containers in the lounge room and food stains in the kitchen. Electrical appliances didn't work with no alternatives. Rooms are old with damage clearly visible and no repairs attempted. Broken switches, filthy vents, overall just a really unpleasant place to stay. Not worth staying at, better to find a cleaner hotel with working appliances.

Good location but poor service. We paid same amount for 3 superior apartments but allocated 1 on 9th Floor, 1 on 8th Floor and 1 on 3rd Floor. When requested to get rooms all on same floor, the gentleman(?) At the reception said they don't sale views. More over, Room 305 was smelly with out of service Freeze, Rangehood, Hair Dryer and so on. Rooms are not cleaned. You can see moulds every corner of the room. Receptionist said the room are renovated but actually all are out dated. NO ROOM SERVICE FOR 5 NIGHTS STAY. SERIOUSLY? Avoid this apartment if you can.

Perfect location right next to beach, shops and tram. The only issue was the dust in the aircon needed a clean and the room was abit dusty when we arrived. Sandy was very accommodating and helpful towards our stay. Perfect spot for family and couples.

The reception closes before midday. There is an old run down germy looking phone to call for a safe box code to let yourself in. That didn't work for me so it was about 30 minutes in the cold waiting for someone to get me in. The guy was polite and very helpful once he arrived. Seems a very old resort with touches off new work but mostly old and tired. Pool was warm enough and the spa was HOT. The gym looks good. Location is ok, hint, parking underneath is spacious and easy.

We stayed the past week with our 7 month old , we really enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and let us check in early ( super helpful with a fussy baby) the pool was lovely and warm and the hot tub was so relaxing! Room was just what we needed and the property is well maintained and close to the Northcliffe tram stop.

Great experience and very welcoming. Very helpful. Thanks to Carla and her boyfriend for getting my keys out of the elevator shaft. You saved the day👍🏻👌🏻. Thanks Carla for room service

Do not stay in room 203!!! Room is very out dated! Arm on the lounge was seperated from the lounge itself. An iPad screen is bigger then the TV. The aircon vents and filter is not clean, it’s that dirty it looks like it has carpet inside of it! Photos are far from what’s advertised online. Was not supplied with face washers, had to ask counter for them, asked for extra toilet paper and was supplied one individual roll. Curtains were not block out, and no fly screens on the glass sliding doors to the balcony. The smell in general inside the foyer, in the elevators and in the rooms is not inviting. The front service was okay but the facility Is definitely due for an update.

Fantastic location right near the Northcliffe tram station. We are in room 702 and it was a lovely clean two bedroom with views of the river and the ocean. We had a problem with the washing machine overflowing but I found Kara downstairs vacuuming in the lobby and she was an absolute legend helping us. She washed our clothes for us and brought them back. Helped clean up the water and was so helpful. The single beds were quite lumpy and there were no blankets but the aircon was great and it was very clean except for the stove which had a very greasy tray in it - obviously the previous occupant never washed it. Great WiFi too. Secure parking. But the pool is not heated so be aware of that in the colder months. Had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again.

Great value, convenient location only minutes walk to the beach and surf club. Within meters of the light rail, courteous and helpful staff, spacious and well equiped rooms and good facilities. A surprise package for a very reasonable price.

Close to everything. Trams 50 meters away. Good rooms, clean friendly staff.

I stayed in 601 around new year. This has to be one of the worst and filthiest accommodation we have stayed in. Please don't go by the photos on the internet. Stinky and mouldy bathrooms, no exhaust, rusty and worn kitchen utensils, sofa bed mattress extremely uncomfortable, filthy air vents, broken vacuum cleaner, bed head was full of dust. Please stay away!

If I could give a zero I would. DO NOT STAY HERE. The photos on the website are not what you get. The apartment was filthy. Air vents not cleaned in months possibly years. Mouldy bathrooms, dirty kitchens and don't get me started on the smell. We walked into the apartment and it felt dirty. Please don't waste your money here.

We had a few mishaps during our stay but Carla at the reception went above and beyond to provide the absolute best service! Not to mention the hotel rooms were immaculate and very comfortable sleeping in. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment I stayed in was fantastic. Everything was clean, it was spacious, the service by the reception staff was great, the place was right outside the train system, great value and the beach and shops were all within walking distance. I gave my stay 5/5 and if I get the opportunity to come to Surfers Paradise again I will be trying to stay at Palazzo Colonnades.

Good for the price with added features I didn't expect, such as a microwave and toaster. Only down side is the rooms where not clean enough, I found hair all over the carpet and found lip marks on "clean" wine glasses in cupboard

The rooms are small to medium with nice balcony views of the front (beach). And back (canal). Good sunlight gets in, the kitchen facilities are adequate though decor a little dated. Great location few 100m's from the beach, tram right outside the doorstep and in between pac fair shopping centre and the heart of surfers. The facilities here are OK, the gym is tired, not much in there except the treadmill and a bike, the rest doesn't really work. The pool is small but tends to get dirty really quickly, jacuzzi is nice but also seems to get dirty not sure if the water filters out. Bbq facilities and a sauna. The location alone gets this place am extra star.

Nice place and the room was very tidy and had all we needed. Not a great view though unfortunately.

Good location, but unfortunately the photos that are shown on the internet are far from true. Total catfish! this so called 4 star hotel operated as a 1 star, holes in walls where the T.V was mounted in the main room with just a extension lead, dirty shower floors as well as rusted shower heads, patched up holes in the bathroom, also to add the bed sheets were merely bed sheets only 2 thin sheets with a worn out Doona and with a undersized mattress protector. Kitchen ware could’ve used an upgrade, a new tea towel would been nice as the one provided was old and dirty! There was also no room service at all as far as getting new refreshments such as toilet paper etc they had to be paid for if you ran out, sheets would only be changed if your stay was longer than 8 days! Rooms were very outdated for a 4 star hotel very disappointing.

I've stayed in 3 different apartments at this complex and all 3 have been good for more than one reason. If course the furnishings change in each independently owned unit but the staff & building manager (including reception & housekeeping) are professional yet friendly & attentive without being intrusive. Their pool facility is impressive, one of the best for that style complex here in the Gold Coast. The facilities & common areas are kept immaculate and all 3 rooms were spotless when I stayed with them on different occasions, no shorter than 7 days at a time.

The room (203) was extremely dirty and disgusting. Do not book this room! The couch and the bed were covered in bed bugs. Myself and my partner were covered in bites after one nights stay. Still a week later we have scares from these bites. The after hours support is terrible and doesn’t exist. We were also lied to upon arrival, being told that room 203 was quiet. It’s not! And the week we stayed they did not advise us that major works were being done outside of our room. All of the pavers / paths were being replaced around the pool area and underneath room 203. Foul Language and booming music ruined each thanks too the trades people used, this occurred each and every morning. Absolutely no respect for your holiday and something the owner of room 203 would have known in advance. We rarely get holidays and this stay of ours was ruined by this terrible excuse for a hotel. Do not stay. I’ve stayed at better back packers In Melbourne and Europe. Too many druggies and homeless roaming around this hotel too. Not suitable for kids or families. The owner of room 203 does not care about anything regarding health and well being.

Great clean and tidy room. Very comfortable beds and had everything in the kitchen we needed to cook. Great views n close to shops.

Very disappointed, I came here with my partner for a holiday. The photos we saw online looked fairly nice. But when we entered our room we were very disappointed. The room was very dated, rough and not very clean either. After hours check-in was a nightmare too. I wouldn't recommend for a romantic getaway.

Great central place to stay on the Gold Coast, tram outside the front door. Wonderful sunsets from a well maintained building. Not new... but priced accordingly. We enjoyed having our own kitchen and laundry and room to entertain friends. Facilities included a heated pool and spa, gym, sauna and Library and BBQ area. Our 1 bedroom apartment included its own small Library. Friends were able to park in front on visitors parking area. This property had everything for us.. we will book again next year. Transport from Airport on 777 bus then tram at Broadbeach South to Northcliffe tram stop.....easy as........ no taxi necessary.

Good location with tram stop almost directly outside. Rooms are of a good size and well equipped for a longer stay, but they are quite dated and look tired. Reception open from 9am to 5pm most days but closes at midday some. Close to the beach and plenty of other facilities nearby. WiFi is free and good quality. Big negative is the 10am check out which is too early, especially when there is no facilities for leaving luggage due to the early reception closing times.

Great location. Everything you need in these clean fully self contained apartment here at Palazzo Colonnades. The beach is very close, so why not to the beach for the day then back to your apartment and freshen up for the night. There is a sauna, a gym, a games room and a pool area if you're not a beach person or just looking to relax for the day at Palazzo Colonnades. The pool is a salt water pool. Book today has everything you need for your stay

Very conveniently located in Surfers Paradise with free underground car parking for guests and tram stop litteraly on the door step. Smaller apartment block so the resort facilities are not grand but functional. 1 Bedroom apartment was a reasonable size with good sized balcony. Full kitchen and laundry makes it much more practical than a hotel room. First night discovered that the mattress was wornout. Next day they put on a mattress topper which made it much better and within a few days a brand new bed ensemble arrived. Resort management definitely went the extra mile. Very happy with our stay and would return.

Room was clean. Carparking gets a bit full so get a spot early. Construction for new tiling was going on at the front which was a bit obstructive when trying to get in n out of the building great location for tram stop. Make sure u keep. Those blinds closed in the morning though! It's bright!
