My family stays here every summer. The rooms are spacious and clean and come with most items required for a fortnight getaway

Excellent room, simply amazing location, nice restaurant, gorgeous pool. The building is older, but impeccably maintained. We love all the cool art on the walls, and the best part is the staff. Tim and Patricia looked after us so well, we feel right at home! Love, love, love this place!

We were super excited to be going away as a family for the first time in 5yrs. We chose HiHo for its location, 2bedroom apts, the Cafe that was supposed to be onsite, and based on pictures on their website etc. When we arrived we were disappointed in how outdated the rooms/hotel was, the level of cleanliness was VERY poor, amenities and provisions were super basic, the beds were thin and uncomfortable, the loungesuite was dirty/mouldy/broken, there was no airconditioning in the bedrooms so some nights were sticky/uncomfortable to sleep, and the on-site Cafe no longer existed. It was very disappointing to have to sweep your room right after you check in... and the large pile of dirt we swept to the front door was still present even after our "mid week clean" offered by the facility. Unfortunately it was supercar weekend and everything else was booked out/super expensive or we actually would have left! To the hotels credit - the staff were lovely and friendly, the artwork (apparently done by one of the managers) around the place was amazing, the views from our room were spectacular, and the pool area was beautiful (the kids especially loved the heated spa with bubbles). But the website definitely needs some updated imaging and more information about facilities/provisions provided.

They force you to pay $200 for bond and 6$ card surcharge! Too rediculous.

Great location with friendly service rooms have all you need close to the beach and all eateries. Would recommend. The only negative is that it is showing its age.

Loving my time at HiHo Beach Apartments thanks to the amazing welcoming and continuing level of care and service provided by Tim and Natalia. The pool is always clean and inviting, the common areas are spotless and filled with beautiful and talented artwork, the apartment is clean and has everything needed – including a kitchen (with all items included), laundry, smart TV, WiFi, comfortable bed, AC as well as ceiling fans and a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The location is unbeatable across from a park and the beach, walkable to everything and nothing has been too much trouble for the on-site team – HiHo is a rare gem that exceeds in every category with a level of care hard to find these days - thank you for such an incredible stay so far!

Great location which is why we choose these apartments. Not cheap, but handy to the beach and to restaurants. All sorts of strange noises didn't help us sleep well. Zero water pressure in the shower, and half used Body Wash produces. Not cheap...

Clean spacious well equipped great cafes down the road, beach. Pool spa.

No air cons in bedrooms!! Smart Tv and wifi didn’t work , no one would help us with this either! Tv temote was broken, blinds were broken! Good location but for the price I would recommend staying somewhere else

It's a GREAT location, and the are a good size room. But the room had a very weird and stinky smell... Their kitchenette is so outdated. Poor wifi connection....

Good location, and my car was too high for the car park, so Tom kindly offered me to park behind the building, which is part of the hotel. I really wanted to leave a good review because Tom at the reception is a nice fella, BUT i am still waiting for my deposit to be released after almost 3 weeks. This automatically puts me in a mood to bring up a couple of other issues: the floor was not very clean -felt sand when walking-, wifi was not working, neither bedside table lamps were working, and no towels were provided. Luckily we had our own. Now, again I would have probably not bothered mentioning these minor issues given the location and the fact it was Easter Monday and we booked only 2 days beforehand, but having my $200 still being held after 3 weeks, that's not cool.

Cheap and Nasty would be a positive review for this hotel. Sadly this was the poorest excuse for a hotel I've ever stayed at. On arrival we discovered our bed was missing a leg and had another broken one, so slept on an uncomfortable angle the 1st night. Thankfully the next day we were able to get this fixed. However didn't help a great deal thanks to the thin matress and uncomfortable pillows. The room appartment did come with a nice aircon in one room that was filled with mould, great for cooling down on the couches that sink to the ground. Then to make your night your nights as fun filled as you'd like you can listen to incoherent ramblings of drunks and junkies that aren't guests as the sit around the pool outside your window enjoying their night. Sadly this only happened on 2 out of the 4 nights we were here. Don't waste your time or money people.

The Hi Ho is in a beautiful beachfront location, overlooking the ocean - the view is incredible. The walls are lined with beautiful art, and everything is super clean and modern. The service is great, the staff are friendly and the owners went the extra mile for us. It's the perfect getaway for both locals and tourists. 10/10 would recommend!

We have stayed a couple of times recently for a short refresher break. Great location close to the beach and a wonderful coffee shop on the ground floor. The apartment was bright and airy and comfortable. The folks who run this place are lovely and make us inclined to return again to relax and enjoy the beach and restaurants.

The room was spacious and clean with a water glimpse from floor 2. A very handy location. Nice staff. The bbq hadn't been cleaned so perhaps staff could do this daily basis ? A nice coffee shop downstairs.

Great location! Pool smaller than expected from pics, but nice area. Apmt good size. Beds could be comfier but generally good and exactly as expected. Only needed reception a couple of times and they've been super helpful. Thanks!

Tim and Natalila are very friendly and accomodating. We stayed in a great apartment with the balcony overlooking the stage at Broadbeach Country Music Festival and made plenty of use of the pool. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Angry Argentinian painter that worked there swore at us and told us we weren’t welcome. She banged glass bottles against the railing of the pool and told us to leave for no reason. We were guests. There was no other staff to report her so unfortunately we left as we did not want to provoke her anymore.

Okay for our one night stay but pretty basic.

Perfect location in the heart of Broadbeach, right across from the beach. This older Resort is well worth a visit, very friendly staff, very well maintained and you'll notice the stunning art work on the walls the minute you step foot in the reception. We're looking forward to our next visit.
