We stayed at San Mateo from Feb 12-23 2021. The location was perfect and the one bedroom apartment we had was absolutely perfect! Just a minutes walk and we were at the beach and a 15 minute walk to our favourite Oracle Boulevard. Had stayed twice years ago and again this year the stay was perfect we will be back!

I had the pleasure of staying in 1of the self-contained San Mateo apartments over Dec. 2020 to Jan. 2021 & our stay couldn't have been any better. The apartment was fully renovated & spotless in every way & the same goes for the apartment block as a whole. Shara and Ben do a remarkable job keeping the block, the pool, the spa, the outdoor BBQ area & the gorgeous garden SPOTLESS. The location is perfect with Broadbeach shops as well as Surfers Paradise walking distance with the beach only across the road. We loved every aspect of our stay. Thank you Shara & Ben & see you both next time :)

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect plenty of room for our family of 5. Kids had a ball in the pool and easy walking distance to the beach, bowls club cafes and corner story. To top it all of it was so affordable!!!! Will definitely be staying at again!!!

Location is perfect. No a/c in the bedroom, hot apartment. TV in bedroom is tiny and no picture, only sound. Great having a washing machine and dryer. Beautiful grounds.

San Mateo Sub Penthouse was exactly what we needed for a quiet girls weekend away. The unit has Ocean views, is a very large clean apartment with fully equipped kitchen and large lounge/dining area. Was located a street away for the beach with well manicured gardens and pool. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at San Mateo from April 17-24, and found my apartment was very clean, comfortable and relaxing to stay in. Ben and Shara are very pleasant to deal with and are genuinely nice people. For the people complaining about dishwasher liquid, have a look in the kitchen cupboard, there was a full bottle of Morning Fresh in my room. The location is very handy to the beach and close to the G rail tram. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay Ben and Shara, hope to see you again in the future. Regards Steve.

Place was great. Toddler son loved it. Great location. Right next to beach. Heated pool. 15mins walk to Oasis and a couple parks. 15mins walk to Surfers. Ben and Shara are lovely hosts.

Enjoyed our stay here. The management were friendly and the apartment was clean. Only a stone throw away from the beach and we also had a glimpse of the ocean from our balcony. Pretty good value for what you get. If we can’t find a place right on the beach, we will probably be back here.

Great clean spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Awesome rate. 2 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute stroll to Broadbeach dining and entertainment. Extremely friendly helpful hosts!

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment 309 June 2022. The apartment was spotless all amenities were provided, bed excellent loved our 9 day stay. Shame the heated pool was out of action owing to storm maintenance. My only small negative is more power points, especially in the kitchen area.

Really enjoyed our stay at San Mateo over Christmas. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Great location, close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Loved the pool area which had all day sun. The apartment managers were helpful & friendly.
