The Meriton on Main is in a great location. Close to Sea World and short drive to the other worlds. Buses close by, and Main Beach shopping strip is a beautiful area. Short distance to the beach and great views. Two pools, bbqs, sauna, spa and gym. The complex is quite old, but we’ll maintained.

Had a great time. The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms where very spacious and clean. The facilities very good and clean. Close to beach, shops and transport. Would recommend the Meriton on Main Beach to anyone wanting a very good and relaxing holiday. Will definitely comeback

Our family of 4 had a Fantastic-long weekend in 2*2 generous size, super clean and cosy apartment with a beach house setting. huge balcony with great views. Highly recommended.

Lovely sized apartment with great facilities Everything was fantastic - great location, the units are within walking distance of Surfers Paradise and Sea World is just a short drive up the road; awesome views; all facilities were great especially the heated pool and spa, kids love them. Units were spacious comfortable and well equipped. Wifi was excellent both in room and lobby area. The reception lady was very helpful, stayed in the office a little longer to accommodate our check in and in settling us plus giving us great information about the surrounding are. We will be staying here again, and again.

Stayed here 3 nights. Positives: - short walk to the beach -good cafes and restaurants in walking distance. - good views of harbour from the balcony. Negatives about the room, only relate to the room we stayed in- Room 39. -Bed was awful, no support as it was foam. Stains on the sheets, coverlet was dirty, smelt like mildew. -unwashed blanket in the cupboard, smelt like sweat. -old urn left in the bedroom, still had ash around the top. -pillows were old. -Mould around the exterior doors and on carpets. -sliding blinds on the balcony were rusted and couldn't move. -Carpets were dirty, surfaces in some areas were dusty. -Area where they keep cleaning supplies was filthy. -Old outdated furniture was broken. -Not enough toilet paper provided - they ask you to tidy before leaving but provide no extra garbage bags for rubbish -Candles and reed scent stuff was all half used or empty. - Disability rails in the master bathroom, definently not in any of the pictures on their website -mirror in the master room had a lock at the top, could see there was another room or closet behind it. -heat sensors for the fire alarms didn't look like they'd been checked in awhile. -TVs are out dated. No flat screens as per website. Controls were filthy. - Foxtel is there but not all channels free. -No COVID safe cleaning supplies provided in apartment. Hotel itself: -Arrived on a weekend, so no staff at reception. -only 1 fob tag provided for entry. -parking is abit confusing, be prepared if you have a large vehicle to do lots of turns. -Sauna was abit outdated and container at the bottom to catch water was over flowing onto the floor. -only saw staff once or twice. If you have back issues, call ahead. Update: Since posting this review, we have been contacted by the Meriton on Main Beach and they have acknowledged the issues that we experienced with the room.

I love my stay at Meriton Main Beach. It is convenient to beach and shops, very spacious and good view apartment. Our kids spent a lot of time in the indoor (too hot outside) and outdoor pool, while I like the kitchen and spacious living room. It was a good value stay for our big family.

Great view. Well kept. Comfy beds. Definitely the first place I'll look to stay at when I come to the Gold Coast again.

To start with, this is a residential apartment block trading under the Meriton brand. It is not a hotel, it is not a serviced apartment. It is a residential apartment block with air bnb style rental rooms. The room was nice and clean. Reception is mess to look at, it has an old style school canteen roller door that is locked most of the day and closed at night. If you need towels or toilet paper or soap you will be charged for everything. No restaurant or food available here. No room service. Hot water is around 10 minutes then you need to wait 3 hours for hot water again. We were told by staff to use the pool showers on ground floor but no hot water available in showers at all. This is a 2 star residential apartment block at best. Don't waste your money on this apartment block. The Meriton group needs to remove its branding from this residential apartment block immediately.

Stayed there a few weeks ago with my family. Absolutly enjoy it. Staffs are very friendly and room is spacious and clean. Definitely will be back next time we come back to Gold Coast.

I just want to say this is such a beautiful hotel and they were so lovely I’d recommend this hotel any day we were not liking the room we had put in just cause was not good for our 14 month old and they were very nice about it and put it straight into another room that was much better for a 14 month old they were very accommodating very nice and I would recommend this Hotel if anyone is coming to the Gold Coast a reasonable price as well

The gardens were well maintained and the room was absolutely amazing! The view from the balcony was truly spectacular and the room was very clean and huge. Very highly recommend staying here for your next trip. The receptionist were such lovely people and very helpful. Such a quiet and we maintained place. Family friendly.

Only stayed one night, while catching up with elderly relative. Very comfortable, clean, plenty of room for five adults. Staff sorted cost for room when booking.com charged too much for Saturday booking.

Not the typical Meriton. But told by the lovely reception lady this was built by the same owner of Meriton Suites. Rooms are so spacious and well presented, with 2 balconies and 2 air cons. It was also spotless clean, totally different to some misleading reviews. Not much ocean views but stunning water view from the other side, especially at night. Close to everything, beach, tram, restaurants, cafes, you name it. New management are vey helpful. Even let us in at 3am when we forgot our keys in the room The negative side is there is a construction next door, and public area renovation in the building too. Have already booked to come back in October. Can’t wait to see the change

The apartment was amazing. Great location and beautifully appointed. My favourite place to stay on the Gold Coast now. The staff booking us in were absolutely lovely and so kind and accommodating. They have spared no expense to make this one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed at.

Was a great place to stay, we had a 2 bedroom (1 double, 2 single beds) 2 bathroom, with a living room, dining area and kitchen (with dishwasher) and outfitted laundry. Has everything you need. Plus, reception was very informative and very helpful and professional. Couple of tips: 1. BYO Laundry, dishwashing, soaps... the complimentary ones they have are not great, plus it is an additional cost if you need more ($1 per sachel of anything) 2. We had a pretty decent fridge and a lot of cooking wear that was in our apartment. So do a big shop before checking in, and save yourself the excessive cost of eating out every night. And the places around are expensive. 3. Shop are Australia Fair for your food, the local shop on the main street is very expensive. 4. The outdoor BBQ area is really good 5. Both pools are very well maintained, and the indoor spa is great. It does echo a lot in there so when the bubbles are on you can only really here the person next to you. 6. They have a sauna and Gym, both are good. The gym has only the basics but it should provide most gym junkies maintenance until they get back to their routine. 7. Hot Shotts coffee across the road is amazing. Highly recommend - wanted to try their food but wasn't convenient with our schedule. Have fun all and thank you Meriton for stay.

WOW what a beautiful luxurious extended stay at The Meriton Suites Main Beach! Right from the start of our stay,The managers on reception greeted us with a smile,welcome and plenty of info! The facilities are awesome and the apartment 22 was spacious and very clean!Cafes and restaurants locally are fabulous!
