Terrible sub standard room! Mis matched, scratched furniture, tiles broken, mould in grout ,shower screen broken wouldnt close as a full door, dirty carpets l,ounges torn and dirty. We paid $420 for this dated old room,light wasnt working in the bathroom took 3 hours to replace the tube. Photos on booking .com show lovely renovated rooms [i was happy to pay for the room in pictures]not the one we got we complained and got put in another room the room i describe above is the second room we got moved to the first one was disgusting. The manager commented that he even felt the rooms were well overdue for a make over but owners refuse to renovate not a $420 room at all never to be recommended photos are misleading sorry I find $420 a luxury price for a one night stay this was no l;uxury at all

Absolutely disgusting. Filthy! Rude! Ignorant! Violent! Kicked out of this hotel and refused another room because I complained about the 1inch thick dust on the fan and the broken greasy smelly oven. Apparently I was being to picky. He slammed a door into myself and my daughter barging into our room, yelling and screaming at all of us (women). Raised his hand as if to intimidate all of us whilst demanding we leave. This place is horrible! The managers are rude!

Lovely river and ocean views in a two bedroom apartment that my family unfortunately had to share with about 200 tiny cockroaches that greeted us from almost every room.. A very rude resident manager who refused to change our apartment ( due to being fully booked) who was in constant denial.

I would not allow a stray dog to stay in these roach invested, outdated, dirty and unmaintained cesspools that they call holiday apartments. The on site manager (Harvey) is extremely rude and unhelpful. Do yourself a favour and read the reviews on their actual website and book elsewhere.

Great location with a nice view. Apartment is spacious however the rooms and furniture are outdated. Doesn't smell very good. Apartment was very basic but cannot complain much for what you pay. Spent almost a week. Nothing is provided except for tea/coffee (No milk). All the kitchen appliances are available. Pool/Spa avaialable. Free Parking.

The apartment was huge, but it wasn't cleaned properly. There was coffee left out that someone bought from a store. Opened milk and drinks in the fridge, as though the management used the apartment for their tea breaks or something, and forgot to clean up. Water was over the toilet seats and it just didn't seem like it was professionally cleaned. The view was lovely though. There was a laundry, too, and a very spacious main bedroom and another moderately sized second bedroom, with two single beds that could slide together if need be. The pool looked clean, although I didn't go in it. I would recommend this place, but would make sure it was cleaned and sanitised properly, next time.

We have a trades business and have dealt with Harvey and his family for many years. We are also ex residents of the Silverton and loved living there. We have never had an issue with being paid promptly or communicating with Harvey over jobs and have found him and his family to be lovely people. I personally come from a hospitality background with family motels and have worked as a motel manager myself and would not recommend anyone who I thought behaved in an untoward manner.

Me and my partner stayed here for 6 nights :) Good value for the money we paid, however we were not happy with the room that we originally got mainly due to the smell, especially in the main room we didn't even want to sleep in it. We went to the reception to talk about this and the manager was really nice and understanding. He gave us an upgrade to another room which was so much better! Customer service was excellent and the apartment had everything we needed. The biggest downfall would be that the motel is in urgent need of redecoration or renovation, as it is so outdated and old :( Overall, we really enjoyed the riverside views, the pool and the location was also perfect being close to the beach, tram station, shopping and restaurants!

Harvey And Linda owners of the hotel apartment business are friendly and helpful to all the visitors. They also manage the building for owners through the body corporate. Best Building Manager we have had since I purchased my apartment around 7 years ago

I made a booking with Silverton and had to cancel as we were identified as close contacts, and the other guests traveling with us had Covid. Even if we wanted to come the state government wasn’t allowing us entry without a RAT which were sold out across SA. I made an Enquiry with the property via booking.com to let them know with as much notice as possible. I got an email back advising me I would receive the refund of the amount (minus the deposit). I have tried to make contact with Silverton multiple times and had no response. I would appreciate if someone could follow up on the matter as it has been months.

Fantastic apartments, looks like it has been recently renovated. Gorgeous pool in front of the river to relax!

This modern and spacious apartment exceeded our expectations. It felt like a home away from home with wonderfully comfy beds and fridge that made ice cubes, much to the kids' delight. The location was great: near the beach, cafes and a park. I can just recommend it!

The communication with the owners was really great room was perfect even got to watch the sunrise from our kitchen while making a cuppa We didn't want to leave !!

From the apartment you can enjoy very beautiful water views. My family and I really like the pool area which is like a little paradise. We spent a lot of wonderful time there. The property manager and staff are very friendly and responsible. We will definitely stay there again!
