Gorgeous view and location. Lovely well equipped apartment but little more attention to cleaning and maintenance would have made this perfect. Unfortunately main bathroom / shower - not good.

Fantastic value for money. Apartment was lovely and clean with fantastic views from the 6th floor. Management was lovely and very approachable. Great location with short walk to shops and many food venues. Short walk tot he beaches.

Arrived at the hotel to be told my booking through bookings.com was no good because they were full. The Lady at the counter suggested a couple of other hotels for me too check with but at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon during the holidays I had no chance. They had still taken my money and am still waiting for my refund 5 days later. I'm guessing they are husband and wife running the place and it is hard to get a word in while they yell over each other when asking how too be refunded while on the phone. They both got very argumentative when I asked some questions. Soon after I told them I had heard by bookings.com policies that they should have found my accommodation themselves since the booking had been approved by then I got an email saying I was a no show for my accommodation.

Windward Passage offers purpose built disability accommodation on two of its 9 levels. These apartments are spacious, well designed for wheelchair access and include appropriate equipment including personal hoists, slings in a range of sizes, commodes and sufficient rooms for family members and carers. The swimming pool has ramp access and a suitable wheelchair is provided to get in and out of the water. There is a double bedroom with an onsuite, a separate oversize bathroom/toilet, a third toilet and another double bedroom. Views are stunning and it is an easy walk to the seaside or the shops. Staff are helpful, experienced and friendly. A great place to stay.

Stayed here for two nights and couldn’t have been lovelier. The apartment was clean and spacious, the views over the water spectacular and the rates very reasonable. Chris at reception was just lovely. Highly recommend …

The accommodation is well located to the beach, shopping centre and woolies..Helen the manager is very nice and helpful and does her best to please the customer. However Her husband is very rude when I rang up to talk about my booking,and it was very hard to hear them when they were both yelling over each other.the room was clean on the 1st look when you walk in but once settled we saw the doors in bathrooms were gross and sticky the kitchen benches were sticky the plates were not clean.the windows had fingers prints over them and the couch was dirty. We couldn't believe how much dirt came off it when we wipped it down. The couch is also too close to the bench, as the bench hangs over alot.,hit my head in the bench very hard when I sat down, very dangerous...lucky I didn't end up in hospital.. I dont think we will be back

My bridesmaids & my husband & I recently stayed here. The rooms are great, especially the main room with its own lil balcony, ensure & spa. Everything you need in the kitchen & the view is fabulous. Helen & Paul are lovely people. Paul had to phone our room many times so we could let people in & Helen went & put chocolates etc in our room on the wedding night, that my sister had organised with her. Nothing was too much trouble. Would def recommend staying there. Thanks again

Outstanding apartments. Stayed there twice this year. Absolutely faultless on both occasions. Penthouse is tremendous value with unrivalled views across the passage to Caloundra centre. Owners are extremely pleasant and very friendly. Spotless facilities. 10/10

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Windward Passage. The view was picture perfect, everything in the apartment was in tiptop order, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. They even attempted to speak in French for my husband, although he speaks perfect English, he got a kick out of it. We will definitely go back.
