Yum Cha was amazing today here at Grand Dynasty. It’s always busy but we made sure got a booking before leaving Broadbeach. Fraser the wonderful scot allrounder welcomed us and made our whole dining experience very special. Helping us with selection ideas with the beer and food. Everything was delicious and we were so full when we finished. It was very reasonable under $100 for the two of us including drinks. Terrific service amazing choices. We couldn't really confirm what all the reviews were saying. Yes, the location is handy and near the beach, the service was prompt and friendly but the food was not so grand. I took my interstate visitors to this place following the raving reviews and we were all disappointed.We ordered entrees and three mains of duck, chicken and prawn. TBH the highlight of the dining experience was the street guitarist entertaining us for the night.

Was on the GC for a holiday and craved Yum Cha, a quick google search led me to this restaurant. Staff were friendly especially the person who greets you out front. TOP BLOKE!!! The chicken feet was special, thinking of it now make me want some. Another hit is the bean curd fried prawns dish. 8.2/10

Best Chinese meal I have had on the Gold Coast. Went in for Xmas lunch and it was packed. Their staff were running off their feet but did a great job of getting the food out quick enough. Had a feast of yum cha dumplings, Crispy Skin Chicken, flat noodles, salt and pepper short ribs and special fried rice. All delicious.

You got to try this one. We would highly recommend their Yum Cha to anyone who love Cantonese food, because they are purely handmade and very tasty. We’ve been tried Yum Cha & Dim Sum in many counties and we will give 5+ to this restaurant. Very happy parents and children.

This is a great Cantonese style Chinese restaurant. Every dish was delicious and carefully cooked. The owners and staff are friendly and hospitable. When you enjoy your meal, they will serve you just right.

A GEM restaurant in Broadbeach. The food and service are impeccable. The Yumcha is Yummmm. I almost like every dish they have. This restaurant has became our 'own kitchen'. Definitely recommand anyone who has passion on Yumcha!

Good quality dim sum! This is a good option for a yum cha experience on the Gold Coast. Most of the dim sum were really good quality, but we were really disappointed with the last couple that we ordered. The pork & prawn dumplings and the pork & prawn siu mai were were almost sausage-like and slightly gristly! The prices were quite reasonable but we felt that the portion of beans and chicken mince was extremely small for the price ($12.80 for a saucer sized plate). We'd go again - but we'd skip the pork & prawn items and the tiny portion of beans!!

The venue looks just as good as the vibe it gives off, the staff are so nice and helpful. Me and my family love coming here from my daughter who is seven all the way to my father who is 70. Food is always fresh and so delicious, thank you guys at grand dynasty

Nice dumpling selection. They have more than what menu offers. Service was decent. A bit overpriced, especially for seafood dishes which arent amazing. If you choose well you can win here.

Friendly and attentive service for a group of 12. Great yum cha, would highly recommend.

Great place for some Chinese/Cantonese foods. Friendly staff and extra care displayed by complimentary snacks (shrimp crackers at the start and fortune cookies at the end). The food was quite tasty too although a tad pricey (To be fair, I guess it is the case in GC most of the times).

Here for the weekend, All dishes we ordered are better than Melbourne restaurants, First time here for Yumcha may be back for dinner if time permits. The waiters are attentive provide good services. Will come again…..the chicken feet is outstanding I enjoy very much ….😋😋😋

I would definitely give 5 stars. Everything is awesome, the food is delightful! We order a mud crab, it is delicious and all of us love it. I will happy to recommend this Chinese restaurant to anyone. Authentic Chinese food😊

The service is excellent, we were well received and looked after with fresh free prawn crackers. Entree and mains were full of flavours and very tasty. All dishes were cooked to perfection.

Initially skeptical about this place as wasn’t sure if they served authentic yumcha. However, when the food came, we were blown away for its authentic Cantonese yumcha flavour. Would definitely recommend to try this!

All Food was Delicious, Entree, Mains and Dessert. Service was Fantastic and Atmosphere Perfect. Prices were reasonable. We are from Sydney NSW, differently Recommending this Restaurant. We had: -Prawn Crackers -Chicken San Choy Bow -Special Fried Rice -Chicken with Cashew Nuts -Sweet and Sour Pork -Deep Fried Ice-cream -Banana Fritter with Ice-cream

Very good menu, lots of choices. All the food we ordered was really nice. Prices were acceptable. We will definately go back again. Could do with a few more umbrellas outside as the sun got too much, and it was uncomfortable.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Gold Coast. The service is unmatched. The staff are amazing and truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely outstanding – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Gold Coast. Highly recommend!

We recently tried yum cha for the first time at Grand Dynasty Yum Cha and Seafood Restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. Our meal included a variety of dishes: scallops and prawn dumplings, steamed spare ribs with black bean sauce, steamed chicken feet with black bean sauce, deep-fried squid tentacles, stir-fried long beans, deep fried glutinous balls with pork mince, deep fried prawns bean curd skin roll, steamed rice noodles with fried dough, and egg tarts. Every dish we ordered was not only tasty but also beautifully prepared. What made our experience even more enjoyable was the warm and humorous demeanor of the boss. Their friendly and light-hearted interactions added a special touch to our meal. However, one small suggestion for improvement would be to replace the mayo with sweet fruity mayo to accompany the deep-fried bean curd prawns. This change could elevate the flavors even further. Overall, our experience at Grand Dynasty was delightful, and we look forward to returning to savor more of their delicious offerings. If you’re a fan of yum cha and seafood, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

Really amazing. Food was exceptional and alone worthy of the five stars, but the service was next-level. Hard to fault any of the team but Zibby was the real star, brilliantly sassy and in total control from the second you set sight on the restaurant.

Super busy. A real place that means good food and forget about the rest. Fast service, relatively resonable prices. Came here a few times for Roasted Duck and Green Beans with Minced Chicken and 🌶 sauce which were always ex.ce.llent! A little disappointed about the scrispy pork belly we got last night, which seemed to be reheated and not as good as it used to be. But in general we are happy eating here and will come back again with pleasure. Yes recommending.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and I loved the atmosphere, but the food we ordered, particularly the fried rice and Chicken Kung Pao were rather bland given the price. The barbecue duck was very very nice though, and I'd absolutely recommend that. Overall, it was quite nice, but given the price tag and the location I would have expected a little better. It definitely wasn't bad, just not as nice as I expected.
