Lovely spot, super close to the beach, our room was lovely (a few cockroaches, but no big deal) and the pool was colder than the Atlantic ocean, which we didn't mind to escape from the heat. HOWEVER, after we checked out my friend who booked the room was charged $102 without warning, no phone call, not even an email. We left most of our rubbish on the bench, we would've left the place spotless, however they only provided us with 1 tiny bin and 0 extra bin bags. We also had our flights changed to earlier in the morning so we had to leave by 6am. We called up to politely ask for them to double check they hadn't made a mistake, but we were assured that there was no mistake, that we had left the room in "quite a bad way" and they "had to get an extra cleaner in" though if I'm to be honest the lady on the phone sounded like she was lying about this "extra cleaner" well extra cleaner or not, I'm not sure how they came up with the $102 unless they paid the cleaner $102 for a 5 minute job. My guess is they leave no spare bin bags so they can take the extra money. In full, we had a lovely trip, but the rude, heartless and down right shonky management have left us all with a bitter taste in our mouths. I would certainly recommend the area (Burleigh) to anyone wanting to visit GC, but the Burleigh Mediterranean Resort are run by a bunch of crooks and I can not in good conscience recommend it to anyone that doesn't fancy getting swindled out of their money.

Back in April of this year, my friends and I decided to start planning a holiday to the Gold Coast. We were aware that it was around schoolies time so we didn't want to book in the heart of Gold Coast so we chose the BURLEIGH MEDITERRANEAN RESORT, this was possibly the only mistake we made in planning our holiday. The view was gorgeous from the roof, which originally we thought we had missed out on one of the resorts only perks when we found out we were on the bottom floor, but after experiencing the elevator situation (one was out of order and the other was snail pace) we realised we got lucky. First night of our stay we found out we weren't the only guests in our apartment, with 2 cockroaches we found lurking around the kitchen. However we weren't about to let this ruin our trip, which we had planned for so long. The rest of our stay was fine. Having said that, after leaving I fear they may have thought they could take advantage of my age and ethnicity, being a person of colour in a white dominant place. I was at the airport trying to buy breakfast when my card declined, I checked my bank to see $102 withdrawn by the resort. We called to see why as they had not left me anything to explain why (eg. phone call, text, email), they told us the room was left in a horrible state. We knew we had left a little rubbish on the bench as Jetstar changed our flights last minute to 3 hours earlier than we had anticipated for, we looked for spare garbage bags, but couldn't find any and thought leaving the rubbish in plain sight would be sufficient. Although, we didn't think this would warrant a massive cleaning fee. I feel they have simply charged us for no reason, expecting they could gaslight us into believing we had left a mess when we didn't, and no one would believe us because we are young boys, holidaying around schoolies time. But what they have done is unjust, DO NOT STAY AT BURLIEGH MEDITERRANEAN RESORT expecting a relaxing holiday, free from discrimination.

Just enjoyed a lovely one week stay in a 2 bedroom ocean superior on Level 3. We couldn’t have been happier, with access to the beach only a few minutes away. The cost of upgrading to the Ocean vista is well worth it. Karen and Peter and their staff were fantastic and made the stay very pleasant. The apartment we were allocated (305) was beautifully furnished in a beach theme with pine lined feature walls, super quiet air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and smart TV’s in both bedrooms and the lounge. We brought our own Apple TV box which allowed us to stream our favourite services but there was also a Foxtel box available too. The foyer, corridors and grounds in general are in great condition as was the outdoor pool area and multiple BBQs. Coles and ALDI are a very short walk for stocking up the kitchen. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at the Burleigh North SLSC too. Highly recommend

Everything was perfect from checkin to checkout. The room was ideal - amazing views and location right on the beach. Everything was clean, small touches like milk in the fridge was really appreciated and I will definitely be back next time I’m at the GC! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

2 couples came for a 2-day stay and were excited about the oceanfront 4-star stay. What we found was a 2-star at best. We had rooms 504 & 404. The views were nice but the 1-bedroom apartments smelled awful, like mildew and funk. The carpets are sticky and we never wanted to walk without shoes or slippers. The drain in the shower smelled like sewer. The decorative pillows all had stains and what looked like food on them. The only saving grace was a comfortable bed and cool rooftop deck with tables, view and BBQ. There is also no service in the morning or after mid afternoon. Definitely not worth the money ~$300/night.

Paid for a superior ocean view, got a north facing apartment whose balcony predominantly faced the hinterland. The apartment itself was modern and comfortable. The complex itself was lovely, have stayed here before to ocean facing apartments and always enjoyed the experience. This time I was extremely disappointed that I paid a premium for what I thought was a superior ocean apartment only to look out at the people in the next building.

Great location to the beach, close to shops, and an easy walk to Burleigh Heads. Room was comfortable, with wifi, and all apartment facilities. Secure undercover parking included. Good security to the building. Pools indoor and outdoor.

In a brilliant location. The two bedroom superior apartment was perfect. Clean as a whistle. The only issue I had was that both the outdoor and indoor pools were too cold to try. I did enquire and it was stated that they were heated. The pools felt cold.

The website makes it look awesome, and thankfully the reality doesn't disappoint at all. From the minute we arrived it was an extremely pleasant experience. Our ocean view 4th floor apartment was very spacious and the views were amazing. Would absolutely come back again and highly recommend to others :)

I didn't stay there but my children came up from Melbourne, they were very happy with, the location, shops, beach and walking tracks close by. The unit was clean and well equipped. Will stay there again.

Awesome location, TV not working and oversize pillows that leave you with a sore neck the only issues. Patio on 10th floor was great to relax on.

Are you a young adult? Are you person of ethnicity? Then this isn't the place for you. Staff took advantage of me and friends because of our age and/or respective ethnic groups by charging us over a HUNDRED DOLLARS behind our backs with no explanation. I feel violated and completely disrespected. Please do not book a room here. Please do not support these greedy lemons.

Great 2 bedroom apartment, really roomy and an awesome view from Level 10. Loved the top floor open area with BBQ tables and 360 deg view of Gold Coast. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pool

Stayed in a 2 bedroom appartment with friends for a short weekend break. Great location by the beach, 2 minutes walk to the surf club and a nice 15 min beach walk to Burleigh Heads bars and restaurants. Great staff and very well kept gardens and pool area. Would have loved to use the rooftop BBQ area but the weather got the better of us. Rooms were spacious and very clean and lovely balcony view. Would stay there again :)

Stayed 5 nights in a 1 bedroom ocean apartment. Was clean & comfortable. The living room was spacious & relaxing. There was only an a/c unit in the living room so that always stayed cool. The bedroom did not have a/c which was a shame as really needs it, but it had a ceiling fan instead which we had issues with initially & they were rectified & fixed promptly on the same day. Bathroom was small & poky but the shower & water pressure were great. Nice views of the ocean & beach. Fully equipped kitchen. We had breakfast in the room every morning. We also had a washing machine & dryer which was handy. Special mention for welcoming & friendly service we received from Karen who checked us in & provided lots of detailed info for the area & also thanks to Simon also. We had an allocated undercover car park. Close walk to surf club, Miami pub & local shops with supermarkets. Overall we enjoyed our stay & would recommend & stay here again.

Great place, great staff, so easy. We arrived late and were provided the safe key code, was really happy with the service and ease of this booking. Forgot some items in the rooms after check out and was welcomed back to retrieve them. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again. Thanks for everything 🙂

Well located. Well appointed. Nice little surf break directly across the road. Walking distance to Dan Murphys & the Miami Hotel. $7 uber ride to James Street & Restaurants. At the quiet end of Burleigh beach.

Awesome place to stay. Celebrated new years eve on the hotel rooftop looking over the beach. Had a great new year's eve with a live resident DJ on the rooftop.

Loved our stay, reception was friendly and the whole place is serviced and cleaned every day. Very close to the beach and surf club, with membership discount included. The outdoor pool is amazing with twin waterfalls and spa jets and has excellent, clean BBQ facilities with a sink both there and on the rooftop. The rooftop is really cool, with great views although the blue light can be a bit intense if eating dinner right under them :) just watch out for parking though if your vehicle is over 2-2.1m high you may not be able to use the underground parking. There are about 12 other spaces available near reception but these can fill quickly in busy periods or at weekends. Overall thoroughly our stay, we will be back!

Loved it here. The apartment was much bigger than expected and had a great view. Short walk to the shops and to the centre of Burleigh as well as being opposite the beach. Great facilities and the staff were so lovely and helpful. Really hope to come back

I think we got a bad room, but honestly for the same price of some 5-star apartment-hotels in the area we got a 2-star room at best. Very dirty, bad smells everywhere, couch badly worn (see photo), weird marks and stains on the furnishings. Very dated appliances and fittings. Friends had a different room which had more recently been renovated, and was much nicer. Outdoor pool is small but nice, while indoor pool is literally in the basement off the carpark which is really strange. Poor signage and confusing layout. Only got one key per room and you literally can’t move around the resort without it. No outdoor spa - only the one in the basement. Strict 10am checkout for holiday accommodation feels very harsh (and $50 extra charge for later checkout). Upsides were lots of space and good amenities in the rooms, a great location right opposite North Burleigh beach, secure parking included, and very friendly and helpful staff.

Awesome location and well maintained. Nothing to obstruct the beach views, and just cross the road to the beach.

Clean, friendly staff and lovely view. Time for an update in my particular apartment though. Very outdated, needs a kettle and a toaster, dining chair has been glued to fix. House keeping may want to supply a face washer if possible.
